Bhojana in South Tyneside

We absolutely love this takeaway. You ring to hear a cheerful helpful person , the meal is beautiful, always red hot, full of flavour. And drivers always cheerful too. Can not fault it .

Food was delivered bloke was well mannered and nice but the food wow unreal will be ordering again.

Ordered 2 wraps and chips . Sorry but we received one wrap and a curry , I don’t know who it’s going too , but went in bin , pointless bringing it back , double check before you bag , thank you .

I wouldn't normally write a review, good or bad but I will make an exception in this case. Been using Bhojana for about a year an a half with no issues. Curry's are always spot on and this was no exception. However the Keema nan that was covered in Mold was absolutely disgusting. There is absolutely no way the person who made this was not aware, so if they are prepared to do this on something so obvious what else are they doing that we don't see. Photo below:

Thank you Bhojana for another fab curry! We were missing our popadoms but these were delivered within 10 minutes of contacting them. Really appreciate that as I know how busy you would have been.

Over an hr and half for food rediculous telling people he’s outside and he’s not

Ordered from here last night & from start to finish everything was perfect. The gent on the phone when placing the order was polite and very helpful, delivery guy brought it quick & again he was polite & professional. Then there was the food it was restaurant quality hot, loads of flavour, & very tasty

The chicken tikka stir fry wrap was absolutely delicious, I recommend having it with a garlic sauce, but it still great on its own. 😁

Again onion bhaji great, chicken Madras with extra green fresh chilli peppers great,👍

Worst Lamb Jaipur I have had no peppers in it like is supposed to, also mixed kebab was poor very small portion also did not receive free starter

Like the taste of Tandoori chicken and Chilli rice but chilli chips need little more taste improvement

Had a few meals from here. Always had excellent service and food delicious.

Waited almost 2 hours and two phone calls later ‘ I told them to not deliver . Ordered at 20:35 and cancelled it at 22:10

Poppadoms were burnt and soggy. The tandoori mixed grill was tasteless and meat poor quality. Very disappointed 😞

First time ordering from Bhojana, food came on time ( Very bubbly and polite delivery lady),and was delicious will definitely order from here again. Jayne and Dave 101 Leicester way.

Worst meal we have had from here , where do i start... garlic chilli chicken vindaloo , not hot , chips raw, garlic and coriander naan , coriander off and as for the poppadoms, more like a wrap, soggy as anything and you could roll them up, no snap/crunch. Been coming here for a while and always give them benefit of the doubt / another chance. After tonight never again . Now looking for a new indian takeaway. If i could post a video i would. All in bin within 3 minutes . Crisps it is then !

Has to one of the worst curry's ever. Rice so greasey and the curry was supposed to be garlic chilli chicken..... it was a plain curry with sliced garlic and chilli mixed in. No taste until you ate a piece of garlic or chilli. Haven't been for a long time as it was awful before, but thought we'd give it another chance, but in all honesty will NEVER go back

Ordered on line . Arrived 15min later . Food nice and hot . Got exactly what i ordered .

Absolutely useless in this shop..last 3 times I’ve ordered food the order is wrong .. then you have to wait for the missing food and reheat your food .. the shop does care either .. very poor

Although the food is nice, it is utter chaos to get anything ordered, the shop is tiny, and they always screw up the order. 3/3 times now that I’ve ordered from them something has gone wrong. You have to wait forever because they only allow 2 in the shop, it’s ridiculous

Best Curry by far and i have eaten curry all over the world. I drive 17 mile every week to get my curry from here i would never go anywhere else, staff are superb and very friendly and the wait is never long. You will not be disappointed getting you're curry from here.

I ordered and collected in about 20 mins king prawn vindaloo had a great sauce 8 big king prawns ,the chicken dopiaza was tasty with lots of chicken the garlic and chilli naans were good egg pillau was good we got popadoms and got onion bahjis for a free starter always great curries from bhojanas when I collect only slight moan is that they could be abit more hotter as the vindaloo was like a madras in hotness and the dopiaza was mild but great curries will return again.

Had a curry last night from here and it was really nice 👌 well recomend it

Called in tonight had no idea what i wanted to eat so went on the recommendations of the gentleman behind the counter he chose Karahi chicken with chessy nan bread and garlic pilau and it was AMAZING ! Would highly recommend this take away

I've waited before commenting. We have had numerous meals regular and from the chef special menu consistently spot on. Give it a try.

Tried Bhojana tonight for the first time, I have to say it’s the best takeaway meal we’ve ever had. Tried various Indian takeaways in the Hebburn jarrow area and this was by far the best take out we’ve had. I would highly recommend 👌

Wot can I say lush ,chicken madras/ chicken rice pilau nice try it

Best korma ever. Massive chunks of succulent chicken with a special sauce to go with. Everyone seems to say the same no matter what curry they get. Madras and vindaloo is supposed to be lovely and the wraps are as big as your arm. The service is always fast and friendly aswell. Use them ALOT and will continue to do so!
