We had a meal at the restaurant. Food average for an Indian restaurant. Serving staff unable to clear table without leaving food all over table. Had to ask to wipe table. Staf Did this with dry cloth. Table covered in stain and oil. On paying instead of charging £16 we were charged £76 They denied error but bank app showed their error. Money returned after 10 minutes. Won’t return as overal left unpleasant feelings.

if I could leave zero points I would. ordered to be delivered at 7.50 , tried several times to call restaurant when I eventually got through I was told another 10 minutes as delivering others before mine. not good enough and sadly won't use again .

Whilst it was so late it was nearly bed time, it was worth the wait as the food was incredible. Top notch and second only to brilliant Saleems in Leam Lane Gateshead. Can’t believe I haven’t tried this down here in Shields before. Top food.

ordered chicken tikka and tandoori chicken the order was taken at 5.30 eventually got food over 2hours later and food was cold first time using this restaurant and definitely will be the last

HANDS DOWN BEST IDIANS IV EVER EVERRR HAD!! Its just sooo delicious the nan breads are amazing the currys full of meat the kebab are delicious i cant fault this place at all! Never ever go anywhere else! Been to the restaurant and got multiple takeaways and there just lovely all round! Thank use! Amazing !!

Curry not up to the usual standard

Order never arrived waited 2 hrs for my delivery I demand my money is refunded. This is a terrible restaurant. Will never order form these people again and I don’t recommend them

Normally really impressed but our order was not correct. The quality of the mains was good but very disappointing that what we ordered was not what was recieved in regards to the rice and naans.

worst curry I've ever paid for. onion bargies were just flat mushy discs, keema nan had what looked like grey dog food inside and had wierd taste, balti curry looked ok but had no flavour amd very little chicken. worst prt is driver walked off without asking for the money thinking it was a card payment but i called him back telling him it was cash, wish i hadn't, free would have been what it was worth.

paneer masala was totally worst. it's to much sweety, no one can eat that much of sweet. paneer masala should have some spicy and mixed with some vegetables. I am suggesting to all buyers please don't waste of money behind this.

only problem i had this time was the garlic nan bread was a little stale other than that was lovely.

ordered from the buy one get one free menu. only 1 item arrived and when I called I was told it is my fault as I hadn't chose the option to receive the free item. however there is no option and it clearly states on the menu buy one get one free. I was then told I could have it if I paid another delivery fee. why should I pay for the restaurants mistake. disappointed as we ordered because there is 2 of us and now have had to half the meal

Usually our favourite place for top quality curry, so what on earth has happened today! First they forgot rice, then my sashlik looked as though the box had been kicked around and it was so oily, I couldn't eat it. Poppadoms soft, garlic nan with zero garlic and the whole lot has gone in the bin. Don't drop quality if you're having a busy day!

Not happy about paying a £1 for half an inch of mint sauce

Namaste were our second choice as our usual provider was unable to deliver that night. Namaste has sneaked up on the opposition. My plain chicken curry was delicious; could not fault it though hubby said his Chicken Tikka Balti was a tad too spicy.

The food was great, and the delivery was spot on, however they sent the wrong item. I called to tell them, which they did replace but it took nearly 40 minutes to be delivered and was still not as described.

Placed my order at 5:45 pm . Did not receive my order until 8:20pm after calling twice to find out where it was . When it did eventually arrive it was cold. Not acceptable. Will not be purchasing again

Always a beautiful curry here. Id been several times but the other 3 were there for the first time. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed the food. The starters and mains were gorgeous. The only criticism was we felt rushed. We'd only just got the drinks and the starters arrived within 5 mins. Some of our party were still waiting through the bar to get served. They took away the starters and brought out the mains immediately so no break at all. Once these were taken away and once they'd checked we wanted nothing else, the bill was put on the table. It took approx 1hr20 for the whole meal and it just felt rushed. We were asked to leave the table as they needed it. It was a Friday night. The prosecco lounge bar, which is attached, has a lot of drinks offers such as buy one, get one half price. You can't use this offer in the restaurant. Lovely place, the staff are friendly and I'd recommend it, but I didn't like feeling rushed. They brought out trays so we could take our leftovers home.

The onion bahji was flat similar to a pancake, the garlic naan was tasteless and the chicken vindaloo basically the sauce with a few pieces of chicken. Substandard

The driver was very pleasant and chatty. Some drivers just say 'delivery' if you're lucky. so it made a nice change.

Tasty food, dishes came out quickly. Felt like the staff were waiting to go home and we were rushed out of the door,that was a bit if a downside to an otherwise very nice meal

Taste - Indian cuisine with the exact aroma and taste of spices. Be mindful that hot dishes are really hot 🥵 Dishes ordered - lamb mirchi, chicken tikka, pulav rice, chicken korai, chicken vindaloo. Price - is very much affordable. Approx 40£ for the above-ordered food along with drinks. Place - The vibe of the place is very good, with light Indian Bollywood music in the background. Especially 2 eye-catching statues in saree and sherwani at the entrance were very welcoming. Overall- We loved the experience and would recommend it to others.

We ordered last Saturday and it was lovely. Chicken madras was delicious. Ordered the same Sunday 3rd and it did not taste like madras. Very cumin like and certainly not like the usual madras. It seems to be hit and miss when we order. Shame because when it on point it’s fab!!! :(

Ordered and went to collect at collection time once I got a message to say ready for collection. Arrived to be told not ready - Saturday night, fair enough. Waited about 15 mins - no problem. Got home, poured my Bhuna chicken all over my meal and took a mouthful. My mouth is absolutely on fire. Pure chilli, baring in mind I order this every other week either by just eat or eating in restaurant. It’s never know it in all the years I’ve been here. ruined my whole meal. Tried ringing but no answer

This was our first visit here with some friends. The staff were excellent and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food. We were a party of five that had starters, main courses, and a few drinks. It cost us £176 which between five people wasn't too pricey, and we were sufficiently stuffed! I only gave three stars for the atmosphere as it was quite loud. Other than that, it was a really good night out. It's easy to see why they've won many awards.

Ordered a 4-course meal, with extra chips and papadums. It was all delicious, other than the poori with the starter. It was inside the container with the bhuna chicken, so when I took it out, it was an inedible oily/soggy mess. Rest was A+ though.

Delivered early and red hot, ordered the pistachio curry as it sounded interesting and it did not disappoint, it was delicious and the chicken really nicely cooked. Unfortunately the starters we got were just OK and the cheese nan I ordered was plain

We were a little disappointed tonight. Food was beautiful as usual but the chicken curry was only filled a third full in the container.

Spicy chips had gritty bits in and pistachio curry had a really pungent smell so was binned all the rest of order was spot on
