went with friends for dinner the food was amazing the wines where good too the service was just top notch nothing to much bother give it a try you wont be sorry and i bet you go back i did 5 days later and it was great again

Had a lovely drink sat outside whilst visiting Marske. Really lovely inside, too, with a great colour scheme. Excellent service.

We recently stopped by The Dog House for a quick drink after a beach dog walk and we were pleasantly surprised. The place has a great vibe, the staff were welcoming and all the drinks were fairly priced. The atmosphere was good and naturally, it’s dog-friendly! The chickens in the garden were a hit with my kids, keeping them occupied for a few minutes so I could savor my drink. We didn’t order food this time, but I’m certain we will when we visit again.

Lovely coffee and toasted sandwich with salad,the best toasted sandwich I have had in a long time. Other people were having sharing platters they looked lovely and fresh, we will be back again for one off those and some wine 👍

Really nice food, good prices, staff are friendly and most importantly it’s dog friendly.

They have different beers every week. Good choice of beers. Will be going again.

We’re unfortunately not local to this fish and chip shop but if we are ever visiting Marske we always make sure to treat ourselves to a takeaway from Vicarage Plaice, the portions are generous and the quality of both fish and chips is excellent and on top of that the service is always friendly and efficient, we’ll look forward to calling again soon.

I had the home made lasagne and it was beautiful, all prepared from scratch and it tasted divine. My Sister had the corned beef pie and it was delicious, great portions for a great price.

Nice little unique place for tasty vegan, vegetarian and other food. The scone options are very good if you just want a quick snack. Plenty of other food to choose from. Very nice coffee and the chia latte is lovely. Staff and chef are friendly and welcoming.

Called for Sunday lunch. Service was good. The meal was OK, it was not superb and neither was it poor. The meal was reasonably priced and they had a good choice of beers as it has a full bar, and is as much of a pub as it is a hotel and restaurant.

Best takeaway in Teesside can’t fault their chicken doner and chicken Shish! Love the home cooked pizzas too a must try
