First visit this weekend. Absolutely THE BEST cheese & wine deli I’ve visited. Beautiful wines , generous boards, well priced and top it off friendly owners and staff who clearly love what they do. Thank you for an amazing meal and night , I shall be back!!

We've been to Rose and Potter a few times since moving to the area a year ago. The platters are excellent - great ingredients and plenty too. The fish platter is a special treat but remember to book that one ahead. Great wine, beer and cocktails too. 🙂

I went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. ✅ Booking the table completely remotely, without phone call ✅ Delicious food ✅ The staff - above and beyond, they helped with the cake, and vere polite and respectful ✅ Great choice of gin, wine, cocktails ✅ Interior design creates cozy atmosphere I would definitely visit again and surely can recommend the place.

We ordered a mixed meats and cheese platter and it was gorgeous. Plenty to choose from, quality food and the chutney was spectacular. We paid extra for the clucking egg, which was a great addition. Will defo be ordering again in the future.

Saw the reviews and thought we must visit. The reviews left us thinking that there should be a gold star button for great welcome, music, ambience, food and wine. A couple leaving after their meal came to our table and said "Welcome to the family." Locally and speciality sourced food, beautifully matched wines and at a very reasonable price. Thank you all, we will be back soon without a car 😊 We visit with friends regularly, the staff are exceptionally friendly, their home cured meats and selection of cheese is amazing. Small space, booking advised but not always essential.

Don't know where this place is so must have passed it at some point of my travels. So couldn't possibly give any comments, but had to put stars to get rid of the post.??

Came for the first time for a birthday. Fantastic experience. Lovely warm friendly staff, great atmosphere. Food was exceptional, 5 of us shared 3 boards and we were stuffed.

I had read about Rose and Potter before our stay in Marske. Having seen the menu and reviews we arranged our stay to ensure we could eat from there on the Thursday our last night. We arranged to collect a mixed meat and cheese platter and scotch eggs. It was all wonderful. The scotch eggs, the stuffed peppers, blue cheese, home cured meats and chorizo eggs were all amazing. The staff are lovely too.

Ate here with my friend for lunch today. Excellent service and ambiance. The food, a vegetarian mezze was absolutely wonderful. Something that would cost a lot more money anywhere was a gem for us to discover here in Marske without the air miles. Looking forward to a return visit very soon. Thanks to all the staff.

We stopped by in Marske for the weekend and happened upon this establishment on a very cold Friday afternoon. It was warm and the staff were very inviting and attentive. We had a sharing platter of cheese and meats, absolutely fantastic!!! We had extra scotch eggs which were delicious. I cannot fault the place and look forward to going back!

What a fantastic place , we visited late Sunday afternoon with our greyhound included and made to feel very welcome by the owner. Definitely a go to place and we would recommend to anyone and already have.

This was the first time we've been here. It's very small inside. We just turned up on a Friday evening at 4pm and were lucky to get seated after a bit of juggling about with tables. So booking is essential, especially if you want to go in the evening. The staff are smashing and extremely friendly and attentive. You can even take your dog in! Lovely atmosphere, quite loud when full as it's very compact! The menu was amazing, especially if you like charcuterie. We had a wonderful evening with friends.

Mixed platter and halloumi fries were really nice! I would definitely go back to try more dishes.

Me and my fiancé have lived in Marske-by-The-Sea for just over two years. We've been so busy that we're only just really starting to get into the groove of the place. Rose and Potter is well worth a visit. The first thing you notice is the atmosphere. It's just right. The lighting is soft and the walls are tastefully decorated. Timeless style. None of the fluff. We had a mixed platter and a warm goats cheese salad. Everything on the plate was restaurant quality. They even cure their own meats. It's not often you see this kind of dedication in a wine bar. Speaking of wine... Had it not been a school night, I'd have been all over it. Some of the bottles they have are of peerless origins that are rarely offered around these parts. For good measure, they stir an Old Fashioned. Whoever stocks the back bar clearly knows what they are doing. It's intimate, calming and welcoming. Refreshingly unfamiliar.

Love this place a gem in Marske. Food is AMAZING service is EPIC and atmosphere is AWESOME! Bottled beer & cocktails went down a treat. I'll be back ❤️

Amazing food, different vegan options and definitely good portions. Really friendly staff and even able to take our well-behaved Alsatian, bigger inside than it looks on some photos. They even cure their own meats!

From the moment you walk on, you're hot with the most glorious smells of food . We had a mixed mezze platter, more than enough for 2 of us and I tried the coffee gin which was amazing. Great service, friendly staff , I've booked a table for next week ☺️

Contacted Rose & Potter to book a surprise retirement / birthday party for my dad. Amanda was amazing from the beginning ensuring we had everything we wanted from talking through what they could do for the booking, providing sample menu options to help us pick from all the amazing food they do to creating us a playlist for the night. We truly can’t thank Amanda, Ian and team enough for everything they did in the run up to and on the night. They helped make it such a special night and it’s safe to say Dad loved the surprise. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rose and Potter to anyone be it for a party, somewhere to pop into for food or for a delicious take away platter. True gem of Marske

What a class little venue, great staff, great choice of freezing cold local beers and jazz music in the background. Dont think I've ever felt so relaxed having a beer in my life. 5 stars doesn't do it justice it deserves more

Ordered a fish platter it was excellent. The staff were excellent the owner explains all the items on the platter and we thoroughly enjoyed it when we got it home.

We had a great lunch here. Our four-year-old was catered for with a very high quality kids' hot chocolate. We had a cheese and meat platter for one, along with the hummus and corned beef pie. We shared everything and it was all amazing; can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. The red wine was lovely too 😁

Went back here using vouchers I got for my birthday, good gift. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked. Good selection, but don't go expecting your usual steak and chips etc. Think more tapas style. It's all about eating, talking, socialising and of course drinking, nice beers, wines and great cocktails too. Staff are really good. Check it out.

What a fantastic treat - could not recommend this this lovely little spot more highly. We had the charcuterie and mezze boards, which all had fantastic quality meats and clear care taken with all aspects. The cocktails were fantastic, despite us arriving at a busy hour. The service was friendly, attentive and warm. Thank you so much!

Absolutely love this place!! We’re so lucky to have such a great venue in our village! The owner Amanda goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. Great selection of wine, gin and cocktails available. The mixed platters are delicious, varied and great value for money. Would highly recommend!!!!!

Lovely deli-bar! Our favourite place for a great selection of wines and cocktails. It’s difficult to find a casual bar with such a great wine list- the Espelt wines (the Sol-i-Vent organic red is our favourite) are beautiful. It gets very busy on Friday/ Saturday nights so you may want to book. We’ve also had platters to take away. Lovely staff too. Cant recommend highly enough!

What a expensive place, had two bottles of wine and the cheese platter and it came to £69. 90. Sitting on wooden benches? Felt like a rip off so won't be going back.

Lovely place with nice drinks and also probably the best sharing platters we've ever had. We went for the mixed meats and cheeses platter and will definitely be going back to try one of the other ones.

Delightfully delicious deli which made room for us and our Westie on the last Friday night before Xmas. Polished off the mixed platter as in the photo with a fruity Spanish red as recommended by the owner, thank you so much for a great evening :) x

First time we've been. Nice place, good food and drink options. We had the mixed platter for two, plus fancy scotch eggs, cocktails & greek (bottled) beer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only (slight) issue was that we were seated right next to the front door, which is fine until someone leaves it open.

Wow what beautiful place this is ... we went to watch the football match at marske and decided to visit Rose & potter . The food is amazing... I had the vegan Mediterranean tart my son had the black pudding roll and my hubby had the home made quiche we really enjoyed the food .. also had a few cocktails.. they were lush ... this place is a must if you are looking for amazing food and drinks and the staff are really freindly made us feel really welcome .

Cracking little deli/restaurant with helpful friendly staff. While on holiday we ate here twice as once wasn't enough. We had the cheese and fish platters which were delicious with a nice selection of cheeses/fish.The accompaniments were well matched too. Would definitely visit again.

My first visit to R&P since lockdown eased. Unobtrusive screens, spacing, sanitizer and registration gave a good feeling. And then there was the friendly welcome, the tasty coffee, and the delicious shortbread.

Called in after a bracing walk along the beach with our dog. Was made to feel very welcome. Toasted sandwiches and coffee were delicious. Friendly atmosphere really enjoyed our visit, definitely will be back.

The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. They have a wide range of gins and mixers. A bit pricey for me though at around £6, but I'm not a big drinker so not sure if that's a good price. Overall a great place for food and catching up with friends
