Nice little pub, a bit small and crammed but adds to the vibe in a way

Didn't have food, just drink. Good music on the jukebox and pool table was good.

A pleasant stop. Aspalls cider, several small rooms, one with a wood stove. Plays muzac, but it is not very intrusive.

£2.50 for any pint of Craft Ale (4 choices) brewed by the local Three Brothers Brewery on a Sunday afternoon CANNOT be beaten ! Chocolate and Marshmallow Stout !

New management are great. A lot cleaner too. Great ales, and they brought back the Sunday deal £2.50 a pint for ales. 👌

My partner and I passed this micro bar on the way to eat out. We were so intrigued that we decided to call in on the way back. The place is really cool, has a great atmosphere, the lady behind the bar was great. To top it all off the smugglers beer was beautiful and incredibly cheap too!!!! Along with being dog friendly!

Great spot.& positively lovely mine Hose in Lauren. In my many years of carousing sessions I have HONESTLY NEVER had as much fun in an afternoon. A great mix of friendly regulars, locals & visitors - Great company & great beer (try the hazelnut stout). Just about the most fun I've had in an afternoon with my trousers on! Lol. Dog friendly too. Lovely little micro bar with knowledgeable wind friendly barman. Delightfully eccentric and repurposed decor, some fine choices or beer and spirits. A highlight.

What a brilliant little micro bar! Was on holiday in Marske and dropped on the bar, what can I say, but The Best Bar in Town! Lauren and Poppy were great, made us so welcome. Dog friendly, Ted, Buddy and Harry (the coughing boy) loved it ! Will definitely come back again. Missing you all already!

Jan 2024 Popped in for a few drinks on a late Saturday afternoon / early evening. Good selection of beers available on tap. Nice stylish front bar, with cosy rear lounge with fire and an upstairs with great mural paintings and a pool table. Maybe need shorter cues as the mirror and the juke box are a bit close. But all good fun and a happy time.

Great Service and Excellent Lager

Super bar in a nice little town. Kask beer and gins. Ginger gin with ginger beer, perfect match. Pop in for a pint, you won't regret it. They have Pepsi Max! We love Pepsi Max in Norway.

Great micro bar, there own larger is nice and really well priced.

Surprisingly big on the inside. Also has the biggest tap I've ever seen in a pub toilet. Friendly staff. I would prefer if they had more of my usual types of lagers (Coors etc..) but other than that no issues

Great little bar, host very friendly, there was a odd band playing which was good , and three hidden away rooms , the mens half keg toilet was most funny.

Great little gem in our village.

Decent little bar with friendly staff, the locals seem nice in there and I felt very welcome. Lovely stylish decor and really relaxed! The smell of firewood makes it for me. Such a great little pub to enjoy a few with your mates and family.

A bit pricey if I'm honest but good atmosphere.

A converted premises which had been tastefully done. Authentic recreation and is aptly named. Concentrates on craft beers.

One of the best bars I have been too in ages the crowd were awesome for the local musicians playing.

Nice bar, not a micro pub, too big for that but definitely worth a visit. Music too loud, 5 rooms.4 ales on but got the impression that they don't change the selection often. No real cider. Otherwise a nice addition to the pub scene in Marske.

The Smugglers Den just keeps on getting better and better-more variety of gins and beers locally produced , great atmosphere with live music and friendly staff. Whats not to like!

Visited the new bar in maske what a great night brilliant people fantastic live music and a great collection of craft beers and real ales and to my suprise up stairs was a great gin bar . Will be back there on regular bases now.
