Visited today for the first time, what a lovely piece of chocolate cake and a delicious bowl of soup, made very welcome, will certainly be back when next in the area

Dropped in after seeing the gorgeous gifts in the window, had the most amazing hot chocolate and cake!!! The gifts there are so individual, we bought a few different greetings cards and Christmas decorations…but could have spent hours looking at the many unusual gifts there. Will definitely be back again! The staff were so friendly, the store was cosy, with settees and low tables, perfect for hiding away with a hot chocolate.

Fantastic food all cooked and served fresh, there is a great choice and the staff are always friendly and happy Coffee is excellent too Eat here regularly and never been dissatisfied

The fish was delicious, I would have preferred golden coloured chips but that's just me. It was very popular and plenty of people queuing.We will go again for definite.

Fantastic breakfast with good quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The staff are always friendly, attentive and make you feel welcome which is refreshing in this day and age. Have visited previously for meals also from coffee and cake so if you like quality cakes too then this is the place to visit. All in all highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Yo iba andando el Cleveland Way y había oído hablar de este lugar. Todo lo que he oído que era verdad. La cafetería funciona de 10:00 a 3:00 pm y es atendido por voluntarios del pueblo y la zona de los alrededores. Yo me comí un sándwich, un bollo y una taza de té en un precio más que razonable. Comidas ligeras disponibles. Los aseos estaban limpias así como todo el lugar. Si querías un libro de segunda mano o un souvenir del centro todo ello contribuye a los fondos de caridad. We were staying in Staithes and I found these guys on Google Maps whilst searching for take-away food. Delivery was quicker than expected, our delivery driver was friendly and the pizzas were excellent with loads of topping and fab bases. We even received an unexpected complimentary garlic bread... I'll definitely order from these guys again the next time I'm in the area.

A lovely old country pub with a roaring fireplace and polite, friendly, professional staff. Visited for a meal after a hospital appointment with my mother due not not having the desire to cook on returning home and its by luck we have found somewhere we will 100% re-visit. On arrival the staff the were friendly and were informative about menu changes for the day, what they did, or did not have, which is good as some places only tell you they haven't got something as you order, which I find annoying. The menu had a very good selection of choice and caters for those wanting to spend on a budget, or those looking to push the boat out a little bit. I ordered the "small" hotshot parmo at a very reasonable price as I was not that hungry but to my surprise the portion was so big I had to ask for a box!..I think the large might even be a food challenge for some according to the waitress. I will point out that it wasn't just that the quality of the food that was good, the taste was beautiful and the portions were very generous. I plan on returning with my children (adults!) for a family event very soon!

We had the pleasure of eating here twice while visiting family, excellent and well presented food. Landlord and staff and locals extremely friendly, they all made a real fuss of our little exuberant frenchie. A big thank you to one and all. Well worth a visit.
