The best restaurants in Loftus Redcar and Cleveland North East

Visited today for the first time, what a lovely piece of chocolate cake and a delicious bowl of soup, made very welcome, will certainly be back when next in the area

Dropped in after seeing the gorgeous gifts in the window, had the most amazing hot chocolate and cake!!! The gifts there are so individual, we bought a few different greetings cards and Christmas decorations…but could have spent hours looking at the many unusual gifts there. Will definitely be back again! The staff were so friendly, the store was cosy, with settees and low tables, perfect for hiding away with a hot chocolate.

Fantastic food all cooked and served fresh, there is a great choice and the staff are always friendly and happy Coffee is excellent too Eat here regularly and never been dissatisfied

The fish was delicious, I would have preferred golden coloured chips but that's just me. It was very popular and plenty of people queuing.We will go again for definite.

Lovely little cafe! The Whole Hog was a gorgeous full English with local produce - a really substantial size too! Absolutely devoured the Pistachio Poached Egg Florentine - the focaccia bread was divine; just wish there was more of it!

On the road in the campervan. This was a planned stopover but we missed the food cut off by 1minute. The staff here were super helpful with the WiFi & advice on the local area. Lots of choice for drinks. A pint and a half of Madri was £7.30. Beautiful part of the coastline to explore.

Fantastic breakfast with good quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The staff are always friendly, attentive and make you feel welcome which is refreshing in this day and age. Have visited previously for meals also from coffee and cake so if you like quality cakes too then this is the place to visit. All in all highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Yo iba andando el Cleveland Way y había oído hablar de este lugar. Todo lo que he oído que era verdad. La cafetería funciona de 10:00 a 3:00 pm y es atendido por voluntarios del pueblo y la zona de los alrededores. Yo me comí un sándwich, un bollo y una taza de té en un precio más que razonable. Comidas ligeras disponibles. Los aseos estaban limpias así como todo el lugar. Si querías un libro de segunda mano o un souvenir del centro todo ello contribuye a los fondos de caridad. Enjoyed our small breakfast and latte coffee here today whilst on holiday. Friendly, attentive and polite staff, definitely better than last week at Moorlands, Owler Bar before we came away as food did not repeat so to speak.

On the road in the campervan. We needed something as our stopover had stopped serving. We had a ham & mushroom pizza with a donner kebab. It came with all the trimmings & we thoroughly enjoyed the food. We would recommend this takeaway got both for £12.50

Had 2 course meal £16.95 All homecooked food served piping hot. Proper chips. Highly recommend.
