The Brown Box in Redcar and Cleveland

Dropped in after seeing the gorgeous gifts in the window, had the most amazing hot chocolate and cake!!! The gifts there are so individual, we bought a few different greetings cards and Christmas decorations…but could have spent hours looking at the many unusual gifts there. Will definitely be back again! The staff were so friendly, the store was cosy, with settees and low tables, perfect for hiding away with a hot chocolate.

We saw photo of hot chocolates they were doing on FB and decided to go and try one. OMG they were amazing, lovely soft leather couches, lovely gifts, hostess was really lovely, you must go and try it out.

I'm visiting The Brown Box regularly, cosy, always pleasant, nice snacks, great coffee, lots to see in the shop and friendly lovely owners. Definitely recommend to pop in.

Lovely little shop filled with lovely gifts and the coffee and scones are lush. The owners are very friendly.

The Brown Box is my go to place for a scone and a flat white with my family. On my last visit it was an apple pie scone, it was delicious. I love that this cafe is family run and sells the most gorgeous gifts supplied by local companies. You always get a warm welcome and excellent service; I'll be back soon to try the lemon meringue scones!

Gorgeous little shop with some wonderful gifts for everyone. Particularly like the well-being boxes for the adults and all the children’s gifts. Didn’t stay for coffee and cake but it all looked very clean and delicious. Very reasonably priced but good quality items.

The Brown Box is such a beautiful new shop & cafe! We were greeted with smiles and made to feel so welcome and comfortable when we arrived. We stayed for a lovely hot chocolate and I bought some beautiful hand-made earrings too - all so reasonably priced!! Can’t wait to go back soon!

We popped in to this lovely new shop to have a look around and try the coffee and scones/brownies. We received a lovely welcome from the family who run it and enjoyed our coffee and scones which were very tasty. Managed a last little bit of holiday shopping and left with our brownies for later. Definitely worth a visit!

I loved visiting The Brown Box! What an absolute gem on Loftus High Street. I enjoyed the warmest welcome, a delicious coffee and tasty brownie, and enjoyed perusing all the gorgeous gifts. Even my noisy, messy toddler was treated like a special guest! ❤️ Absolutely lovely! I will definitely be back. ❤️

Our first visit to this family run cafe and gift shop, what a little gem. The coffee is perfect and the wild garlic and cheese scones are delicious. Lovely friendly service especially from the smallest member of the team. We will certainly call again.
