Very disappointed! Went for the large Doner kebab, the potion size was so small a fraction of the normal size. Think it's time to start looking at other fish shops

My pal had a bad turn ,the staff were absolutely class in dealing with the situation. Love this place on Sunday afternoon always welcoming and class bar staff love this place .

very disappointed with all food. lacked taste. chips were the only thing you could eat and we'll don't get me started about the bolognese. wouldn't serve that to anyone. it's very much put me off eating it ever again.

Just another overpriced coffee shop

we orderd a platter last night it was absolutely 💯 gourgess and so tasty also great value for money. 5 stars from us. complaments to the chef. Thank you 😊

Dirty shop and food not very nice

Ordered my food from here couple days ago and got food poisoning. Just starting to recover now! When i ordered the man behind the till continued to roll his eyes at me ? Would never come back here again and i don’t recommend anyone else too!!!

Worst food ever I had unlike 👎🏻

The mill house has been around under various owners , and we've been for food during all these periods, especially Sunday lunches. However , the food under the new management is off the scale. We've been for Sunday lunch in many different places but this Sunday the mill house blew them all away. I had the trio of meats which were perfectly cooked , a wide range of veg , the crispiest roast potatoes ever , a stunning Yorkshire pudding , with perfect gravy. Creamy mash and swede hidden under the meat. Delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive and made our visit a joy. I've seen some bad reviews which puzzle me and ok maybe it's a couple of quid more than a lot of Sunday lunches , but you get what you pay for , and this is totally worth it. Ignore the negative reviews and give it a try. Book in advance definitely , and enjoy the food , scenery, ambience and the friendly welcome.

No pitta bread,chips cold and meat luke warm. Food went into the bin. Won't be using again

I have used the cafe a number of times now, great value and service. The mince & dumplings is fantastic, as are the giant Yorkshire puddings with beef or chicken. Proper old style cafe

Always cooked to perfection, delivered on time , even when ordered just before closing. Cannot fault them . The Sea food pizzas are the main reason we order here, but the portions of kebab meat are huge. Chips always perfect.

Just visited for a Christmas breakfast event. We were there as a group of 6 adults and 1 child. Were met at the reception and shown to our table. Very cosy atmosphere with a lovely Christmas vibe to it. Really enjoyed our full English breakfast, each table waiting their turn, so was well organised. The Grinch and Cindy Lou arrived and mixed with all the children, which they really loved. After breakfast we were directed to the Mulberry Suite where the children participated in fun and games. The morning was topped off with a special visit from Santa. A really pleasant morning getting everyone in the Christmas spirit. Would definitely recommend and will be booking for next year.
