The food is absolutely good and definitely taste the "chicken quesadillas". On the other hand, the portions are very small. Advice order two right away and take your time because it doesn't go very fast. Perhaps because of the online orders because as said, the food is certainly good.

Massive selection of the best tea. But you can get a great coffee too. Lovely food and cakes as well. Welcoming staff. Highly recommend - there’s nothing else like it in Newcastle or Gateshead.

Ive been using this takeaway for c.10years now and never had a bad meal from them. The staff are very friendly and polite and the food is excellent quality and value. My fave is a Chicken Begham Bahar Special (chunks of chicken, mince, chick peas etc) Garlic Rice, and a chapati washed down with a cold glass of beer. Try Khans and you will never go anywhere else for Indian food.

My twin brother Stephen and I decided to cross the Swing Bridge over to Gateshead and visit some of the great pubs over this side of the River Tyne, before starting our pub exploration we dropped into Subway for a bite to eat. Your typical Subway, modern decor and furnishings, neat and tidy, a glass fronted serving bar showcases the goodies on offer and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this Subway. I ordered a cheese, ham ,salad six inch baguette, prepared in front of you with fresh ingredients, my order was ready in no time, I also had a soft drink ,my baguette was so tasty, really filling, just what we needed to set us up for for a few hours ,couldn't fault anything about our visit to this particular Subway. This Subway outlet is easy to locate along Ellison Walk. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 9am till 8.30pm. Sunday, 10am till 7pm. Well worth seeking out if you're in the area.

Amazing Micropub cum informal music venue , catering to a wide selection of beer enthusiasts tastes , therefore Camra award winning for the last two years , at least...!!! A superb choice of both Cask and Keg beers , various ciders , as well as an ever increasing array of great chilled bottles and cans. Always a great atmosphere and craic with friendly knowledgeable staff and regulars from both near and far. Best bar in Gateshead in my opinion.

Amazing night, celebrating my birthday 🎂 at "Six" Food very tasty had 6 courses and it was enough for us to feel full at the end of the night. Charlotte and Daisy were looking after us tonight. Service is great very approachable providing great information about each dish. We've had wine and "Negroni" everything was perfect. Will definitely be back when have a chance. Can recommend anyone looking for a memorable night to go out and celebrate in such a special place!

Special Curry. Not Special at all. Some onions, a few small pieces of meat, 3 prawns, swimming in a watery yellow liquid which tasted of nothing. Disgusting really

Great food with a nice Chinese chef Full of '鑊氣' Their lunch is just £5.5 but only on every Thursday and Friday

Amazing venue with great atmosphere. Highly recommended. Word of warning however, they have very restrictive drinks policies. No chance of an open drink if you’re in level 2 or 3, not clear why not when every other theatre or concert hall manages to make it work.

Really friendly guy and some good coffee and little breakfast! Nice location just outside the city center. And a good reason to cross one of the beautiful bridges.
