Poor serving sizes. £9.40 for Salt & Pepper Chicken loaded Fries. A few fries with some chicken on. Not what I was expecting for the price. Very disappointed

Ordered from here for a takeaway, having received a leaflet through the door. Sadly, their websites / affiliates were so poor that the ordering process was complicated. Not just that, £5 delivery charge for a 3 mile delivery is excessive in comparison to competitors. The delivery was very slow too (ordered on a Sunday evening). The food was redemption, though. It was delicious. Would use again as a special treat maybe, because the prices are higher with the delivery charge. Strange, considering we ordered on the back of their own leaflet through the door!

Myself and husband live local to this pub so decided to have a Sunday lunch out as a treat. Pulled into the car park, plenty of spaces so that was a bonus straight away. Went into the restaurant, we were greeted by a lovely polite lady, was asked if we had booked a table?, explained we hadn't , but that wasn't a problem as we were seated immediately. We struggled to decide what we wanted to eat, but husband decided on the 3 meat Sunday roast, I opted for the steak pudding, it was advertised with mash ,but they were more than happy to change it for home made chips for me. I have to say the portions are more than generous, hubby's Yorkshire puddings was ginarmous!!. The food was served piping hot, lovely tender meat and vegetables had a tiny bite to them. Could not fault it. Throughout the meal we got asked if everything was ok, very attentive polite staff. All in all a superb meal at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Batter on the fish and sausages is not proper batter, not very nice at all.

This place is such a good place to go for any occasion. We went on Saturday night just for a family meal. It's also perfect for work nights, special occasions etc. The food is always beautiful and the service is the best. The staff are all amazing

It's good value no frills home cooked food . Good portions and the steak pie and mince and dumplings are good . The chips are also great ! Prices are fab and staff are canny

This is not Chinese food. I have never tasted anything as sweet. Chowmein was awful and the curry sauce was absolutely terrible. Never again...avoid. This is not Chinese food.

Can never fault the food from here. Always amazing and tops every where I have ever tried in Peterlee. The staff always go above and beyond and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Chilla for a consistent amazing service

Shop had 6 customers ordered coffee waited ages went to counter told he shouted and no one answered. Music really load. Coffee came in paper cups and was told there was no proper cups. This isn't the first time, 1, visit ,no spoons 2nd time no sugar Now 3, no cups. To me these items are key to run a coffee shop. And to top it all off a member of staff sat on phone and tables needed cleaning. Our table had cup etc. Sill on table when we left. Would not recommend till they have proper cups cutlery and sugar.

First time we have ordered here. Delivery staff were lovely, food fresh and hot. The only issue I have is I ordered plain chicken kebab and received chicken coated in a tandoori/spiced coating. I do not like any coating on chicken with a kebab as I think they are covering something up? In future I will add notes to the order ensuring I receive plain chicken, if I want tandoori I will order from an Indian takeaway.
