We have had a lot of Indian takeaways over the years, thought we would try this one after our regular one went downhill - we are so glad we did. The quality of food is superb. We had the special balti last night, just the right amount of spice, the meat was really high quality, proper king prawns and really nice quality lamb (not dry like I find with other Indian takeaways) - this was the best Indian takeaway we have had for a long time.

We orded our meal 1hour in advance, I got home then the meal arrives and my main course was not in the package. I rang and it was an hour before it came . The meal was warm . No apologies just gave me my main course.i have him the menu back and said I would not be ordering from him again. You are spending £20 plus on a meal you expect it to be right.spoilt our meal

I moved to the area a couple of years ago and tried several places before I found this one. I’ve never been disappointed by anything I have eaten and have tried a lot of different items. I like very hot and my kids prefer the mild curries and we haven the had a bad one yet. It’s our weekly treat and I’d recommend to anyone.

First of all, I loved the Biriyani! I haven’t had this delicious food anywhere else around Durham , I’m new to this place, and I’ll definitely visit again 🫶and staff also very welcoming!

1A Avondale Terrace Co Durham, Chester-le-Street DH3 3ED EnglandHorrible food, worst Indian takeaway I've had. Got a chicken tikka curry it was light brown and looked curdled couldn't even eat it. Chicken tikka started and keema nann was nice. But it was a waste of money wouldn't recommend.

I would highly recommend this restaurant because the food is grate quality. the service is at high Standard atmosphere is great especially the guy at the front house he is amazing with customers always has a smile on his face dressed very smartly always try’s his best The place is immaculate. The toilets are really really clean and always smell superb I would Definitely highly recommend it’s our go too indian restaurant in Chester Lee street we would t go elsewhere other than this place it is a must please try for your self you will not be disappointed 10/10 5 star all round thanks Guys keep the good work up 👍

23 Newmarket StreetOrdered delivery for quarter to 7 and hasn’t arrived 40 minutes later tried phoning up to ask where it is 10 minutes ago and I live less than 5 minutes away and it’s been coming any minute now for the past 10 minutes. Didn’t get anything but attitude when I phoned them aswell
