Always order our munch boxes from here - tonight they were delayed as they were super busy we appreciated the courtesy call to let us know and the little extras they added to the order as an apology thank you

The food was lovely and delivery was fairly quick. I would recommend. Nice workers too!

The delivery time is 30 minutes I waited and hour and 45 minutes, when I tried to call there was no answer and when I did get through they hung up straight away! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS the only reason they have stars is because the food is good

Ordered gravy, mushrooms & chips. Got a boatload of mushrooms in gravy & oil...😡😡😡😡 Wouldn't bother...🤢

Absolutely ridiculous ordered at 6pm comes 7:30pm rang no order I explained I ordered online they claimed they couldn’t find my order, my partner turned up they magically found my order said they was cooking it and it would be delivered within the hour, I rang again 1hour 30 minutes later to be met with the a snotty rude person on the phone, constantly hanging up on me, nearly 4 hours later the food still isn’t here dispute the food being with the none existent driver for the last 45 minutes absolute joke stay away from here the person who deals with the phones needs sacked

Unreal food, best Chinese I’ve tasted yet

Hi I used this Chinese takeaway Green Villa chop suey at shotton last night on 25 August 2023 I was eating my meal when I bit down on a sharp pice of metal in my mouthful of food when I taken the metal out it had a sharp point on it. And It was black and rusty i didnt see it in my food as I order soft noodles chips and gravy I did not see it till I had put it in my mouth I will never eat here again that could of done a lot of Damage to me when I order a meal I don't expect getting stuff like that in my food I have taken a picture of the metal and if I get ill off have rusty metal in my mouth and broken bit of rust in my mouth ill be seking legal help again this shop its disgusting

Ordered yesterday and cancelled the order after almost 3 hours waiting. We were told at 21:45 on the phone that the food was made and waiting for deliver driver, then told at 22:30 that the order was next in line to be made (Despite ordering at 20:00). A little bit of honesty goes a long way….. The lady we spoke to was very apologetic and asked us to call back the following day and they would re-order on the house as an apology, however when we called we were told we would need to pay to re-order, so lied to again. Certainly won’t be back

Food is great and feel like home

Ordered food from here for delivery. Only to see the delivery driver had a dog in his car right next to the food.

Been here a few times now and can honestly say I have enjoyed it every time. 1 of two take aways in the area I can honestly say are the best imho

Nice place, cozy you can eat in or take out, massive portions. Make sure you bring some water cause they only sell pop. Great food.

The jury's still out so watch this space... Made the mistake of getting a box meal which is definitely not for everyone... Good portion size and tasty, but very battered and very fried and a bit too much for some... I didn't help myself by getting the fried option of another special... I will be back to try other things as the food was well prepared, good value and ready on time...

Never leave a review but just ordered liver and onions with 2 chow mein absolutely beautiful will defo ve odering again delivery was less than a hour carnt fault the place at all this will definetly be my favourite takeaway

Omg!! 3 people ordered different food from here but shared duck, chicken & rice & all 3 violently sick. Suppose what do we expect from a takeaway with a 2 out of 5 from food standard agency? AVOID

Ordered food at 5.12pm I'm still waiting at 7.35pm, several phone calls later and offered 25%discount on next order, said I would never order from here again. Honest review, don't know what food is like as still waiting but money came out the bank straight away 🙄. Come on green villa you are letting yourself down now like 🙄

I didn't visit Green Villa, I was in the chemist's shop over the road and they had no Chinese food on prescription. Green Villa is sound by the way, but nosey Google maps pathetic attempts at spying on me fail epically as usual...!

Get more meat in a pot noodle asked for house special vermicelli scraps of meat rare to see chips raw 1st and last time 👍👌

Spot on food, great value for money, especially the set meals, best Chinese in the area in my opinion.

Absolutely rotten, ordered one of the boxes £12-90, it took over an hr to come it was just say warm it was all overcooked, curry was thick as bull lugs and tasteless even managed to burn the prawn toast. Will not be back there EVER. Only good thing was friendly staff who took the call and plesent delivery driver.

Our usual Chinese was closed tonight (Boxing Day) so we ordered from here and we weren't disappointed ! They said delivery would be 40 mins and it did arrive exactly on time, the delivery driver was nice & friendly and the food arrived hot and tasted lovely 😋🎄

Polite and helpful on the phone, delivery is always prompt and most importantly food and portions are bliss.

Always late when I have ordered here before but last time was the last straw. Waiting 4 and a half hours getting told it was getting made and it was on its way. Getting hold of someone on the phone was a joke.. After the long wait all I got was a email saying they cancelled my order after I was told on the phone it was out for delivery. Don't bother!

Food took 3 hours 40 minutes to arrive, stuff missing from order. Big portions of poor food. Salt and pepper prawns soggy, noodle tastless, prawn toaste was like fried bread..and the chips i cant comment as they didnt turn up 😂 ..and you cant call and chase order as their phone will be of the hook.

First time ordering from here as I live at the other side of county durham but it come very quick was red hot. I'm not really a Chinese food person. But my Missus wanted to try it can tell you now the food was amazing cooked very well.loved the barbecue sauce and my son loved the chicken in orange sauce well worth the money. Definitely be ordering again from here. 🙂🙂🙂

Quality has gone down hill unfortunately. The chips were horrendous tonight with lots of black bits on them & the new boxes just make them soggy. Only ordered a basic chicken curry but even this tasted a bit off. Dont think I'll be going back.

Just had a delivery of liver meal and chips and it was disgusting.

Waited 2 hours for delivery despite being told it ‘would be there soon’. Rang back after an hour and a quarter to be told it was leaving in 2 minutes (it’s a 3 minute drive), then waited another 45 minutes before any food came. The actual food was quite nice (only reason it’s getting a few stars), shame we didn’t get any complimentary prawn crackers etc which you’d expect after having to wait so long.

First time ordering tonight.. will never order again! The chips are absolutely vile.. like the fryer has never been cleaned. However the curry sauce is nice.

Usually always come here was beautiful give plenty of chips lovely and Crisp chicken balls and lush sweet and sour sauce but the recipe for the sauce seems to be change the boxing of chips had change also which made them slightly rubbery and the prawn balls have changed so there is no as much batter was very disappointed it’s been this way the last two times and we always used to come here but don’t think we will be returning from the poor service tonight

So disappointed tonight!we ordered our usual meals that we have collected for quite some years.There were no vegetables,broccoli,carrot,mushroom etc.The meal was completely different although we had not changed our order.I wonder if management of this business has changed.

Ordered from here because use the usuall Chinese was closed. I will go hungry before ordering again portions too small, over priced, and I swear the fried rice was cheep 2 min microwave rice

First time visiting and we got a chow mein, egg foo yungs and chips. The chip portion size is huge! They fill a dinner plate. First time I've tried a chow mein & I wasn't keen but the egg foo yung was lovely.
