We have just had our wedding meal cancelled with less than two months to go via a copy+paste email titled to "guests" and with just a "we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause". This all took place just after they'd posted over their social media to "book now" to join them.
Best case they are incredibly incosiderate with poor customer service. Worst case there is something dodgy going on.
Avoid at all cost.
Just moved around the corner from this place and thought I’d check it out for a quick dinner, I’ve never been more impressed and happy with service. The staff are amazing and welcoming. Portions are massive as well as tasty. I’m very pleased and will be coming back indefinitely
Parle Pantry is an absolute treasure for anyone looking for delicious plant-based food in Chiswick. As a vegan, it can sometimes be hard to find a café that doesn’t just cater to us—but truly celebrates vegan cuisine. Parle Pantry does exactly that!
The full vegan breakfast was packed with flavour and variety, from perfectly seasoned sausages to vibrant roasted vegetables, creamy avocado, and beautiful hummus spreads—all served with toasted sourdough. Everything on the plate was thoughtfully prepared and utterly satisfying.
The soup of the day was another standout—hearty, comforting, and full of depth. It tasted homemade in the best possible way and paired wonderfully with the toasted bread on the side.
When it comes to sweet treats, this place is equally impressive. The almond croissant was buttery and flaky, the lemon muffin was soft with the perfect zesty icing, and the carrot cake was rich, moist, and indulgent. You’d never know they were vegan!
The atmosphere is warm and cosy, with friendly staff and great coffee to match. I’ll definitely be coming back and wholeheartedly recommend Parle Pantry to anyone—vegan or not!
Visited yesterday - excellent food, service, atmosphere, place. Thank you.
Revised: The papadum starter were unimpressive and oily.
Also I subsequently saw the owner in an asian supermarket buying several packets of frozen idlis, which I suspect will be used in the restaurant.
Hardly ever open, customer served me with no joy or happiness.
Been coming here for years but since the staff has changed, the service has drastically reduced in friendlyness. Came on Sunday with family and was closed and disappointed as hopeful for better service.
Food was ok but won’t come again due to atmosphere and service
Came here for dinner last week and really impressed. Friendly staff who knew the menu well, had pride in the restaurant and you could tell they genuinely cared if you were enjoying yourselves. Catered for my friends peanut allergy. Delicious and affordable pho and bun. Best vietnamese in the area.
An absolute gem of a place for craft beer/cider lovers; a rotating selection of excellent keg and cask beers and ciders of various styles including porters and sours. What's not to love?
We were excited to eat here, but after we sat down, we weren’t spoken to for 15 minutes. We left after the staff cleared a table beside us and didn’t acknowledge us. The menu looked beautiful but we were invisible.
