The best restaurants in Bethnal Green South Tower Hamlets London

We asked a passer by in the street for good Indian food and were recommended this place. Very friendly staff. They took their time to explain the dishes for us. Place is very spartan, but clean. Food is good. Most bang for the buck during our stay in London. Most do take away from here, but they have a couple of tables at the back.

Esta es mi cafetería favorita. Siempre espero visitarlo y pasar tiempo en un ambiente agradable. El personal es increíble y un gran agradecimiento al Sr. Parvin que es muy profesional y siempre muy agradable. Le deseo a él y a todo el equipo muchos éxitos personales y profesionales.

Un tout petit resto qui propose pas mal de plats differents dont les english breakfast. On y trouve aussi des jus de fruits frais et c est tres agreable ! Niveau nourriture, les saucisses ne sont pas terrible, mais le reste est tres bon et pour des prix tres bas ! (5,50£ l english breakfast) A refaire en revenant dans le coin ;)

Popped in with friends for an impromptu Sunday lunch, one word, WOW, the beef was sublime large sized portions very good price served with more veg than we could eat. The setting was quaint and a little eclectic highly recommended.

Very disappointed, we arrived and asked if we could have dinner. Then they told us to sit down. We waited for 20 minutes without anyone coming to see us, we almost felt like we were invisible!! We had to go find a server to order. Then my husband's Burger and Fries arrived😱. Dry bread, a mini hamburger patty, a slice of tomato, a slice of pickle, and no sauce. Even at home we do better!! As far as I'm concerned, the Milanese escalope was very dry. Considering the price for what we got, we would have been better off eating at KFC for less!!! £50 for 2, just for one dish (not great) and a beer per person. I do not recommend this place for eating.

Service was very slow. We had to wait a long time to be served. The food itself was fine but not as flavourful as indian food usually is, and it was very oily. The staff were very nice.

I’ve seen this place for a long time and wanted to visit. I was able to convince my wife to go and try. We tried it both loved it. She’s very particular with full English but she absolutely loved it. We had the classic set with tea. We love the owners of the place. They’re so nice and very lively bunch. One of them was so surprised that we traveled all the way from Vegas to visit. As we ate, there were so many people visiting from all over the US and Canada. Must try… come in hungry. Thank you for the great food and we’ll be back.

Ms Goiuri at the till was superb n a wealth of smiles, and is a great ambassador to the company. My 1st visit hopefully won't be the last. Thanks 🥰 One thing...get some vanilla 🤪

Thought I’d write a review since this place wasn’t open last week when I wanted to eat there and really hope it opens again soon. I’ve been coming here for six years ever since I moved to the area with friends, my partner or even just by myself. My friends and I love it as a down to earth, independent Italian restaurant with fair prices - so hard to come by these days. Their food is great - pizza, pasta, crunchy Ceaser salad and nice house red too. I love the semi-old school decor. I threw a bday party here on a Friday evening once and service was amazing for such a large table.

Friendly staff. Would just be great if the savaloy or sausage in batter was pork, like good old traditional food use to be.

Ha pasado más de un año que visitamos este restaurante cerca de chadwell... . con nuestra familia... debido a la buena comida, pero la última vez que visitamos 2 el servicio al cliente es muy pobre y el servidor muy grosero con los niños, lo que es inaceptable... .. Siempre doy propinas pero esta es la primera vez que no doy propinas... espero que el dueño del restaurante llegue a mi opinión... trabajo para el mejor servicio... la comida era 100% buena pero el servicio es muy pobre... Nunca volveré a visitar...

There is no toilet roll in wash room however if you ask staff they will count and give you only 2 pieces of tissue. Ridiculous 😡!!! Despite it was pre booked for large group of 20 plus!!

Nos encantó la comida china. No nos decepcionó la atención al detalle. Nuestro servidor GAIL no podría haber hecho más. Optamos por probar el menú de ser crujiente de gambas tostadas de langostinos y rollitos de primavera, ¡todo delicioso! Los platos principales también y el arroz especial era excelente! La porción no fue abrumadora, pero con 3 campos nos fuimos sintiéndonos felices! ¡Muy feliz! Si es un entorno impecable sobre la calidad de la comida, ¡no para ti! Decir que me encanta un mantel blanco y una buena comida y servicio cualquier día con una decoración elegante, y el ambiente agregado fue el constante retumbar de la línea circular del tren ps nota 12. 5 cargos de servicio pero aquí al menos se lo merecen!
