Note: this review is for the Boxpark branch. Interesting concept but poor quality and service. Fish in the noritaco was frozen solid. When brought to the attention of the staff there was no attempt to remedy and was instead asked "is this the only piece that was frozen?".

Noritaco: A crispy seaweed tempura shell with sushi rice and Japanese Latin fusion fillings. I had the tropical one (at shoreditch branch) which at £9 might’ve been a little steep (through they are fairly substantial) however if you get the meal deal you get a side (and most of these are over £6 alone) and a water or iced green tea for just 90p more which is an absolute bargain. I had the chili chicken karaage as my side. They had other meal deals as well and with half a dozen branches already it would be good to see these all over the capital

My new favorite takeaway. Everything is always delicious and arrives perfectly. I highly recommend the chingon roll and yucca fries. Worth every penny.

Total rip off of £9 for a bit of rice, two chunks of salmon, a minimal piece of tuna and two small dice of mango which wasn’t even ripe. Worst delivery food ever, avoid if you don’t want to end up spending a fortune and still feel hungry. Nice concept, terribly pricing. Never again.

We went for the noritaco and had some takoyaki. Everything was very tasty, but really, the noritaco portions were just too small. Spent £20 between the two of us for takeaway street food, and for that money, you would expect to be full. It was little more than a starter. I went home and had some pasta.

Went to Old St. Where I was given a menu for a Japanese-Latin kitchen whose main dish was their signature, the noritaco, I ordered a katsu (panko pork with avocado), diablo (battered ginger chicken and chillies/chilli sauce) , and a few sides, the gyoza chingonas (their own take on classic Japanese dumplings) and the takoyaki. The service was very quick and I had my food in front of me in less than 15 minutes - it was brought down by the owner of the business, who was very kind and polite to me and my family. The food itself was amazing, my kids loved the gyozas and takoyaki, and the diablo was definitely worth recommending, my lips are still on fire /s Definitely coming back when back in London.

These sushi tacos are without a doubt one of my favourite things to eat – the soft shell crab tacos are to die for, always so fresh and full of flavour. I’ve never had a bad meal or received anything but top notch service from Sugoi Jpn and I have converted many of my friends here too!! Absolute 10/10.

My friend told me about this place and curious today my friends and me decided to go here try the original taco made with the seaweed. I tried the taco with soft crab tempura and spicy mayo , was soooooo good and tasteful and also the nori ( seaweed) was very crispy. Was something new. Never tried before. And the price is very honest. The owner was very happy and very friendly with us. I felt at home. Good impression. I can't to wait to come here and eat another good taco. High recommend it

Fantastic little take away spot nestled underneath one of the railway arches just south of Bethnal Green Road. The food is delicious. The soft shell crab Noritaco is heavenly comfort food and the cassava fries are equally amazing. My girlfriend went for the Tropical Noritaco which she loved. The food all came well seasoned and with plenty of extra condiments should you require any. You can order your food from the wine bar and micro brewery next door and they will deliver it to your table. Available for take away and delivery as well via their app, so this will make a great evening meal at home or perfect addition to any lunchtime picnic. Looking forward to ordering from them again! すごい!

This is down an alleyway behind Bethnal Green tube station. The entrance is just past the overhead green train overpass with a 2nd hand furniture shop at the start of the alleyway. This isn't a sit down restaurant but take-away only. Apparently you can order and eat in the nearby brewery a few arches up though. The menu is a fusion of Japanese- Sth American with their main offering being a noritaco. Basically sushi within a hard, nori seaweed shell. The flavours were fresh and tasty and the staff very friendly. I'd order at least 2 noritacos if hungry! The yuca fries had a little spice, but were rather heavy and starchy. The mini-okonomiyaki (cabbage pancake) was uncooked in the centre, heavy and gloopy! The toppings were far too creamy and salty- for £7, we expected more. None of us could finish it as it was raw, and far too rich. I'd have the noritaco again for something different and a novelty, but not as a regular take-away meal. For what we ate, the value wasn't great. Soon afterwards, we were all gasping for water, so there was obviously a lot of salt in the meals we had. Nice for a change though and certainly worth a try.
