Una pequeña tienda ahora eclipsada por oficinas corporativas y restaurantes para los habitantes de allí. El frente de la tienda es una delicia en sí misma, aunque el nombre de oro sigue siendo en realidad se negocia bajo sus nuevos dueños. Sin embargo, creo que el ethos y el encanto sigue siendo: nunca he probado sus ofertas para el almuerzo, pero viajo bastante lejos para abastecerse de sus provisiones que complacen a aquellos que valoran la comida tradicional británica en gran parte consignada al basurero de la historia a favor de productos "más simples" para las masas. . . . Por supuesto, pagas una prima por esto. Estoy de acuerdo en que sus horarios de apertura pueden ser un poco variables, pero esto no le quita importancia personal a su atractivo y es mejor que vaya allí justo antes de la hora del almuerzo o después, etc.

Great duck hot sandwich. Certainly didn't skimp on the duck. Lovely food, great service. Reasonably priced too.

Great sandwiches to take away, with freshly made coffee and desserts. The shop itself is small but cosy. I recommend you try this place.Have also purchased a tub of loose coffee which is fabulous.

Bar ninguno de los mejores llevar emparedados que he tenido. los ingredientes son muy frescas y muy sabrosos y los camareros tienden a acomodar el sandwich hasta es más abundante. El pan es también encantador.

Service is a bit haphazard but I love AGold. Delicious food to take away, different options every day and so different from anywhere else around. Lots of interesting foodie options; a hot meal or an excellent daily sandwich option.

This place combines being a shop selling old-style sweets with selling food including sandwiches made to order and one or two hot options. The queues inside can be somewhat disorganised but it's worth it.

A humble little shop with heaps of charm. Wonderful selection of products i have yet stumbled upon. I love the lunches here as they have a nice selection of hot food and cold sandwiches. I miss the old Spitalfields where there was a lot more character and small businesses and i am always on the lookout to support small local businesses. I have visited several times as I work just around the corner.

First of all, the eatery is cute. Tugged in the middle of a main market, it has a homely appearance right on the city center. Inside too, you get the feeling of homeliness with the food.But the food could be better. We tried one of the pies which was good but Ardennes pork liver pate was average. Coffee was also not special.Overall, I liked the look of the place and food looked promising but did not do justice to it.

The service was simply horrendous. The food was terrible and i geuinely found feces follicles in my spaghetti. Not to metnion the uncanny resemblence my spaghetti held to super noodles. My life partner and I each oordered an apple martini and to our astonishment the beverage which we recieved was robinsons apple squash in a plastic childrens cup. The horror truely struck me when our desert arrived. As opposed to the beautiful chocolate cake advertised in the menu, We recived a packet of miniature 'party rings' and a half eaten jammy doger assorted on a plastic picninc plate. All's well that ends well however as the waitor showed no objection to my life partner and I wanking eachother off underneath the table.
