I’ve seen this place for a long time and wanted to visit. I was able to convince my wife to go and try. We tried it both loved it. She’s very particular with full English but she absolutely loved it. We had the classic set with tea. We love the owners of the place. They’re so nice and very lively bunch. One of them was so surprised that we traveled all the way from Vegas to visit. As we ate, there were so many people visiting from all over the US and Canada. Must try… come in hungry. Thank you for the great food and we’ll be back.

Great food, an excellent Full English. Price reasonable, especially for London - about £15 for a breakfast with tea. The homemade bubble and squeak was particularly good. Love the family atmosphere inside, excellent service. Only downside was the long wait (I got there at 10, and waited around 30mins, by the time I left the queue was about 4 times as long) If you get here early and beat the queues, a great spot for breakfast. Otherwise, you're better off at a different cafe (there are many on the same road)

A Family Affair at E Pellicci's! In the heart of Bethnal Green, E Pellicci's Cafe stands as a testament to the power of family, community, and delicious food. The minute you walk in you're enveloped by its stunning Art Deco interior, crafted by the skilled hands of Achille Capocci in 1946. Run by the charismatic Nevio, Anna, Rosa and their wonderful team, is more than just a place to eat—it's a home away from home. As soon as you step through the door, you're enveloped by the warm, lively atmosphere and the infectious banter that makes everyone feel like part of the family. The food at E Pellicci's is a true reflection of their Italian heritage, all made from scratch, with generous portions and a variety of delicious dishes, from their famous breakfasts to their Italian specials, every bite is a taste of history and love. And it's not just about the food; the Pelliccis are known for their generosity, often surprising guests with delightful freebies! In just a couple of hours, you can feel like you've become part of the Pellicci family! It's a place where strangers become friends over a plate of pasta or a cup of coffee, and where the community spirit is palpable. E Pellicci's is a beacon of tradition in a rapidly changing world, a reminder that sometimes the best experiences come from the simplest, most genuine places. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking to taste the real heart of East London!! "Cherry Bomb" will see you very soon!! xxx

We queued for just under an hour for a table. English breakfast portions are really generous and taste/quality is as expected of an English breakfast. Service is friendly and warm - you are really treated like family but you can tell the lovely waitresses are run off their feet so sometimes have to grab their attention a few times/correct the order if brought out incorrectly. Restaurant is very loud and often tables are shared. Cash only. I would return to try the Italian dishes which look amazing…. but not with another hour queuing!!

While searching for places to eat on YouTube, we stumbled upon this hidden gem, and it quickly became a must-visit on our itinerary. Even though we weren’t particularly hungry at the time, we had to go because it was on our list. And WOW, was it worth it! This small, family-owned shop radiates warmth and authenticity, reminding me of the cozy, family run spots back home in the South. You can truly feel the love and care in every corner of this place—it’s not just a restaurant, it’s part of a family. The owner was incredibly welcoming, even offering to take us on a tour around the block himself—something I can't imagine happening in the States these days. The food was beyond delicious! We ordered four breakfast meals, and the portions were massive—honestly, even for an American appetite, we couldn’t finish it all. But here’s where the experience really shines: the owner insisted on turning our leftover bacon into sandwiches for us to take along. That level of care and service is simply unmatched. Having visited Italy last year, I wish we had more time to return here for some homemade cooking at lunch. This restaurant is a rare find, and the owner’s dedication to providing an incredible experience is second to none. His hospitality and conversation are top-tier, and customer service is clearly his number one priority. If you're ever in the area, DO NOT miss out on this spot—it’s more than just a meal, it's an experience!

Completely Average and overrated I don't see what all the fuss is about? Food was bang average, certainly nothing to get excited about, the atmosphere wasn't relaxing, annoying " upbeat" music loudly playing, staff constantly running around , loud tourist's taking photos etc Just another tourist trap, there are countless videos on YouTube where fake food reviewers and " influencers" claim this is the " best London breakfast ever" they are only saying this to get likes Trust me when i say you can go to any greasy spoon café and the food will be identical

E Pellicci is a must when in the area, offering great value. The atmosphere reminded me of a Trattoria in Italy, it was a real buzz and tables were hard to come by. I was on a bit of Kray Brothers tour after seeing their home at 178 Valence Rd. The waitress showed me to the booth they ate at on a regular basis. Service was extremely friendly, polite and personalized. I ordered the Full English Breakfast and the portion was more than generous, keeping me full until dinner. Wait time was reasonable as the place was full including the outside tables. A credit to the owners and staff of this traditional family restaurant, as whilst you are there they too make you feel at home.

It's more of an experience than a restaurant, in the best way possible. YOU HAVE TO GO. I would recommend it to anyone. I don't know where to begin, but as soon as you walk in, you meet the loveliest, kindest family you'll ever meet. I went to E Pellicci on Wednesday, February 5th, after a hospital appointment at Great Ormond Street Hospital. I was seated immediately and given so much love and attention by the whole E Pellicci family. Especially one of the sons—I don't know his name, but he's around 40 with short, dark brown hair. He's the kindest man you'll ever meet. He said something so precious. They want all customers to feel like they're entering a restaurant that's more like a family living room, and that couldn't be truer. While it looks like a restaurant, it feels like a family home, which it technically is. I found out all about the lovely mum, who's 84 and still cooking at E Pellicci, and heard all about the sons and cousins. You get constant attention, and they know all their customers by name. I have a brain tumor, and sitting behind me was a neurosurgeon! We were all chatting away thanks to our waiter. Food was awesome! Service? Eleven out of ten! I can't even describe how amazing it was. They even gave me a free Nutella cake after I told them about my day – seriously, the best cake ever. You HAVE to go; you won't regret it.

Love Pellicci’s, been coming here for over 25 years! Food never disappoints whatever we order. We love everything on the menu and always have bread pudding to take away, it’s amazing. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, they always make you feel welcome. It’s a tiny place and it’s likely you’ll be sitting on a table with other people if sitting inside. This place does have a bit of a celebrity status nowadays so word has got out and it’s hugely popular so be prepared to wait for a table. Only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is due to the high prices. Due to this we don’t visit as often anymore as we can eat in a restaurant for similar price to this cafe. Othetwise it’s defintely worth a visit but you’ll need deep pockets if visiting as a family as it’s around £20-£25 per head with a drink if you’re having a meal here or a cooked breakfast.

Be prepared to sit with other as it is small and compact but very friendly and you will also be subjected some of the Eastend wit and repartè in other words banter. Remember to take your cash as its cash only.

Great choice with multiple plates all of which we enjoyed. Reasonably big too so we didn't feel squashed in

Food was great! Bread was just like the kind I got from my Italian grandmother. You can tell why it’s so busy if the whole menu is this good. Nice covered area to wait outside in case it rains and you can get seated with other people to speed up service. I was sat with a couple who were familiar with all the staff and everyone knew them by name even though they hadn’t been there in ages. A real family feel to the place. Staff were all lovely and friendly which speaks volumes when they were that busy! Only reason for 4 stars was I ordered a coffee but it never arrived. :( Would definitely visit again and will rectify to 5 stars once my coffee arrives.

First time in London and heard about Pellici. Stopped by for a proper English breakfast and hopped in the line to get a table. This family owned restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere to it. The waitresses have such a great charismatic personality to them. Heard one of them joking with the table behind us and laughing with the patrons. Food was good, along with the muled wine.

A true neighborhood cafe! Great(and BIG!) breakfast and AWESOME homestyle Italian! Homey, warm, and welcoming even though it’s as busy as Liverpool Street Station at rush hour with folks being mixed in when seats are empty(you’ll get asked if it’s okay to seat someone next to you and say yes, make friends!). A couple tables, covered but outdoor with little space heaters were perfect and an option if there’s a queue and nobody else wants to sit outside. Easily in my top tier of places I will specifically travel back to London for!

¡Volveremos!

Very disappointed, we arrived and asked if we could have dinner. Then they told us to sit down. We waited for 20 minutes without anyone coming to see us, we almost felt like we were invisible!! We had to go find a server to order. Then my husband's Burger and Fries arrived😱. Dry bread, a mini hamburger patty, a slice of tomato, a slice of pickle, and no sauce. Even at home we do better!! As far as I'm concerned, the Milanese escalope was very dry. Considering the price for what we got, we would have been better off eating at KFC for less!!! £50 for 2, just for one dish (not great) and a beer per person. I do not recommend this place for eating.

No volveremos.

Nous venions d'arriver à Londres et nous cherchions un petit resto sympa,l'accueil sympathique du patron, une cuisine simple mais très bonne et des produits frais , nous n'avons pas regretter.
