Wow, if I could give 10 stars for service, I would. The food, without a doubt was great, but the owners and the staff are great! Super friendly, and after just one visit I already feel at home. If in London, this place is a must.

I trusted the advice and reviews online and I was not disappointed, E Pellicci lives up to its reputation! Family atmosphere, warm and friendly. Well-filled and tasty plates, we enjoy ourselves. I found the meat particularly good! Be careful, there is always a bit of a wait. A must-visit during your visit to London!

It was really delicious and the service was great. The clerk was very enthusiastic. Because eating beans would make me bloated, he helped me change it to hash browns. Only cash is accepted, there is an ATM nearby where you can get money. However, milk tea is stronger than the big ice milk in Taiwanese breakfast restaurants, so those with lactose intolerance should think twice.

Confusing service and Full Breakfast very normal but overpriced and pumped up by social media, the place survives on the fame it has created over the years but at least the owners are nice

This is my favourite restaurant I first went here at 1 and I have loved it the pesto pasta is amazing and fresh. The staff are amazing and they even remember my name. I would highly recommend this.

This was my first visit but it had been recommended as very good. A very popular cafe, E Pellicci has been run by the same family since 1900, on the same site and still has its original wood panelling decor. It is usually to have to wait for a table and today was no different. It didn’t take long to be greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff and four of us were seated at the table and ordering a few minutes later. Light hearted banter from the staff to the customers, some of which were obviously regulars, made the experience even better and the arrival of our food was really very quick. The portion size and quality of the food was probably up there with the best breakfasts I’ve had and the large breakfast is not for the faint hearted. The menu is full and varied with Italian dishes adding to the cafe’s authentic ambience. Upon leaving we were thanked genuinely and with a smile. I would recommend Pellicci’s to anyone and I will be back.

Lives up to the hype! Went on Saturday morning around 1030am, waited less than 20 minutes to get in. Can get breakfast or the pasta, we did both. Huge portions, everything was delicious! Make sure you get some home made pesto, can also get some to take away! CASH ONLY (but maybe Monzo would work in hindsight?) There is an ATM across the street. The staff is hilarious and so welcoming and accommodating, feels like you’re at home with your big Italian family. Highly recommend.

Waited 20 minutes outside when got seats had to share a table waited 40 minutes for food so drinks were already drank when food came had to keep getting up and down to let people in and out of the seats breakfast was mediocre and overpriced all you could hear was the owners voice who had a lot to say the 2 ladies working there were run of there feet while he walked around lord of the manor was very disappointed 😞

I’ve seen this place for a long time and wanted to visit. I was able to convince my wife to go and try. We tried it both loved it. She’s very particular with full English but she absolutely loved it. We had the classic set with tea. We love the owners of the place. They’re so nice and very lively bunch. One of them was so surprised that we traveled all the way from Vegas to visit. As we ate, there were so many people visiting from all over the US and Canada. Must try… come in hungry. Thank you for the great food and we’ll be back.

Great food, an excellent Full English. Price reasonable, especially for London - about £15 for a breakfast with tea. The homemade bubble and squeak was particularly good. Love the family atmosphere inside, excellent service. Only downside was the long wait (I got there at 10, and waited around 30mins, by the time I left the queue was about 4 times as long) If you get here early and beat the queues, a great spot for breakfast. Otherwise, you're better off at a different cafe (there are many on the same road)

An absolute East End classic! The quality of the food is incredible. Warm, friendly service that makes you feel like family, and a buzzing atmosphere fill of history! The portion sizes are beyond generous, good coffee and a proper old-school charm. A must-visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Es un pequeño café/restaurante familiar que sirve comida sencilla, casera, sencilla y deliciosa. Me sorprendió lo ocupado que estaba y mi amigo me dijo que siempre es así, y puedo ver por qué. Obviamente es un negocio familiar dirigido por generaciones porque puedes sentir el amor aquí. Alrededor de la mitad, si no más, de las cenas allí el personal conocía por su nombre y trataba como si fueran viejos amigos. Se siente como retroceder en el tiempo, pero en el buen sentido. We queued for just under an hour for a table. English breakfast portions are really generous and taste/quality is as expected of an English breakfast. Service is friendly and warm - you are really treated like family but you can tell the lovely waitresses are run off their feet so sometimes have to grab their attention a few times/correct the order if brought out incorrectly. Restaurant is very loud and often tables are shared. Cash only. I would return to try the Italian dishes which look amazing…. but not with another hour queuing!!

Completely Average and overrated I don't see what all the fuss is about? Food was bang average, certainly nothing to get excited about, the atmosphere wasn't relaxing, annoying " upbeat" music loudly playing, staff constantly running around , loud tourist's taking photos etc Just another tourist trap, there are countless videos on YouTube where fake food reviewers and " influencers" claim this is the " best London breakfast ever" they are only saying this to get likes Trust me when i say you can go to any greasy spoon café and the food will be identical

You come here for the experience, it's packed, it's noisy, you are shoulder to shoulder with strangers. If you can handle that then order away. Looking around the plates, everything looks amazing and very generous portions. We h came for the classic full english breakfast, it did not disappoint. Important to note, we did wait around 20 minutes outside on a line for a table, but the staff works really hard to accommodate parties fast.

We enjoyed a Saturday morning breakfast here, plenty of banter whilst being served. We all enjoyed our food and will I’m sure eat there again when we’re in the area. One thing I hadn’t accounted for was its cash only so had to wander up the road for a cash point.

Amazing! Wonderful atmospheric Cafe with terrific friendly staff, quite exceptional. Terrific quality and very reasonably priced. Clearly still a locals-haunt however tourists from everywhere come here. However I don't think thats an issue - staff speak to everyone and are super welcoming. "Have The Lot", with a Cuppa. Unbeatable. Earlier the better to avoid waiting.

A great place for a quiet and nice early evening dinner. It is a classic east London cafe that has been serving the community for decades. It’s opened Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am with a variety of options to choose from. The food is delicious and tasty and very Italian.

Small cafe, lovely and friendly staff. Enjoyed the breakfast, the portion size was generous. Had the classic GF option without toast or sausage. My latte wasn't the best, the coffee was a bit too strong, it was more like an americano with a splash of milk. FYI - cash only, might queue for a while and due to size of the cafe you will likely share table with others. Overall good experience, will go again when it's warmer.

E Pellicci is a must when in the area, offering great value. The atmosphere reminded me of a Trattoria in Italy, it was a real buzz and tables were hard to come by. I was on a bit of Kray Brothers tour after seeing their home at 178 Valence Rd. The waitress showed me to the booth they ate at on a regular basis. Service was extremely friendly, polite and personalized. I ordered the Full English Breakfast and the portion was more than generous, keeping me full until dinner. Wait time was reasonable as the place was full including the outside tables. A credit to the owners and staff of this traditional family restaurant, as whilst you are there they too make you feel at home.

Staff is very welcoming. If I’m correct this is a family run business and the food and coffee was amazing. I was just passing by and I stumbled across this gem of a place in Bethnal Green London. It was really busy and everyone was enjoying the food and in good spirit. Next time I’m in east London I will be back here for sure. I had such a good experience here I completely forgot to take pictures.

A true neighborhood spot doing it the old way, with soul. The family is super warm and will give a little jab, but in the sweetest way. The place has character that you can’t manufacture. Get the full English - it’s the pro move.

My husband took me here to have my birthday breakfast here. Great atmosphere, staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. The staff and customers sang a happy birthday to me which was a really nice surprise. We were served the best bread pudding as a treat. They serve the best cappuccino and will definitely come back. As a group of 5 we waited about 1 hour on a Saturday. The wait was worth the food, portions are very large and tasty. The British breakfast is well done and the pasta dishes as well. Inside it is a bit squeezed but feels very friendly and warm. The service was very kind and quick though ONLY CASH is accepted. There is an ATM across the street. Would come again if I know the line is short.

Amazing little restaurant with its own atmosphere, loud taking, it seems like everybody knows each other. You might get seated with other people which is a great way to get some tips for travelling in London. Staff is literally so kind and will make you feel like at home. Large, very reasonable priced and freshly made portions of food. Definitely will come back there for a breakfast when I will be back in London. Check it out!

Best breakfast I've had in London. Ordered the Have The Lot full English breakfast with strong mug of tea. Huge plate of piping hot food and the quality of ingredients was top notch, no corners cut ! We ordered 2 delicious freshly baked takeaway bread puddings, 1 of which was complimentary! Staff were all very friendly, chatty & very efficient. We felt very relaxed and made to feel at home despite being tourists. Highly recommend and will definitely be back on a future visit to London.

It's more of an experience than a restaurant, in the best way possible. YOU HAVE TO GO. I would recommend it to anyone. I don't know where to begin, but as soon as you walk in, you meet the loveliest, kindest family you'll ever meet. I went to E Pellicci on Wednesday, February 5th, after a hospital appointment at Great Ormond Street Hospital. I was seated immediately and given so much love and attention by the whole E Pellicci family. Especially one of the sons—I don't know his name, but he's around 40 with short, dark brown hair. He's the kindest man you'll ever meet. He said something so precious. They want all customers to feel like they're entering a restaurant that's more like a family living room, and that couldn't be truer. While it looks like a restaurant, it feels like a family home, which it technically is. I found out all about the lovely mum, who's 84 and still cooking at E Pellicci, and heard all about the sons and cousins. You get constant attention, and they know all their customers by name. I have a brain tumor, and sitting behind me was a neurosurgeon! We were all chatting away thanks to our waiter. Food was awesome! Service? Eleven out of ten! I can't even describe how amazing it was. They even gave me a free Nutella cake after I told them about my day – seriously, the best cake ever. You HAVE to go; you won't regret it.

We visited E Pellicci last week in East London. It is a family run business which made the experience more personal. The owners who work there took the time out to chat to us during our visit. We had the classic set & have the lot (meat) breakfast which was gigantic and delicious! Would definitely recommend eating here! We will be back to try the pasta dishes! FYI - Cash only (there is a bank/cash machine opposite).

Very special place with gorgeous interior, warm, friendly and fun service and huge portions of freshly cooked food. We had classic set breakfast and 'have the lot' breakfast. Lovely cup of tea too. We went on a Saturday so it was very busy - be prepared to queue and to share a table (it's a small space).

Love Pellicci’s, been coming here for over 25 years! Food never disappoints whatever we order. We love everything on the menu and always have bread pudding to take away, it’s amazing. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, they always make you feel welcome. It’s a tiny place and it’s likely you’ll be sitting on a table with other people if sitting inside. This place does have a bit of a celebrity status nowadays so word has got out and it’s hugely popular so be prepared to wait for a table. Only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is due to the high prices. Due to this we don’t visit as often anymore as we can eat in a restaurant for similar price to this cafe. Othetwise it’s defintely worth a visit but you’ll need deep pockets if visiting as a family as it’s around £20-£25 per head with a drink if you’re having a meal here or a cooked breakfast.

This was my sister and I’s first stop when we landed in London. The space is small but atmosphere is very cozy and warm. Definitely felt like a local spot. Everyone working there was incredibly friendly and kind. The food and portions were pretty good too! Definitely recommend trying out if you’re visiting London/trying English breakfast for the first time!

Came here as a treat from the wife. Arrived about 11.30 and it was full, but we didn't have to wait long. I ordered the meat pie, chips and broccolli cheese combo, while the wife ordered a breakfast. The teas were nice and strong, cafe tea, always tastes much better. Well the food was top notch and very filling. Even better was the service and conviviality of this place. They are so friendly here and nothing is too much. A great crowd of locals, seasoned Londoners, celebs, and some tourists. Love this place, the decor is fab too. And we love that the place is small, but sharing a table and listening to all the banter is part of what makes this place special. One downside, Nev was having a day off.
