Cakes and Gateau Cafe La Maison in Tower Hamlets

Normalmente tenemos un curry, pero el sábado nos apetecía algo diferente. El personal era encantador y la comida era deliciosa. Mi marido tenía una pequeña (?) Pizza que estaba llena de un montón de golosinas y era tan abundante que casi no podía comer todo (5 a la hora del almuerzo!!!!) Tuve la mejor lasaña que he comido. ¡Volveremos!

Had a coffee here,which was served by a very surly woman,not very pleasant ,she only smiled when we left[perhap's she was having an off day.] The coffee was nice anyway. Place looked clean.

I had a full English breakfast and compared to its price it was ok (however, far not the tastiest I'be ever had). The cleanliness of the cafe is excellent and staff is really friendly.

This place blew me out of the water. It was amazing. Their menu was huge and their prices were affordable, if not cheap. The food did not reflect this. It was amazing. Fresh bread, great sandwiches and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Un petit déjeuner anglais avec une bonne quantité pour le prix,un accueil très sympa,on y est allé 2 fois sur 4 matins, on y reviendra avec plaisir!

Awesome menu so much choice. Really reasonable prices too. We went for breakfast a couple of times. Having some of the fresh juices (i had the super green so good!!) a tuna salad baguette and a full english. The staff are lovely too. Thanks!!

Only few cafes in London that have such a diverse and delicious menu, including pizza made by an expert chef. Wifi, great service and lovely seating!

The best pizza I have ever had in the UK and also the prices are very reasonable! I ordered pizza hawaiian and it was so delicious, very juicy. The order day I ordered pizza margherita through Uber EATS and I was also super delicious. Definitely recommending!!

The family go there about twice a month. Great pizzas and general staples like pasta and lasagne. Excellent range of cakes and pastry. Friendly service and relaxed place.

pizzas taste decent but are a little thin. More for a hungry individual than for sharing, bear that in mind

Really tasty fresh food. So far, the best croissants and pains au chocolat I've tryed in London, they taste just like home (France). Very friendly and helpful staff, they provide a great service. The coffee shop is quiet, warm, and always smells good.My daily breakfast stop, I recommend this place to everyone.

Very unhelpful customer serivce when my order didn't arrive. No ideas for alternatives/apologies/ways of getting the food to me - was very abrupt. Don't bother ordering food from them and expect help/support if it fails to turn up....

Wow. I went into this cafe last weekend. It was fantastic. The cakes were gorgeous, it was reasonably priced and the service was great. If I'm ever in that area again, I will be visiting

I ordered food here today via UberEATS and tracked the delivery. The food was picked up and transported via an UberEATS driver to my address, except I watched the driver (via the tracker on the map) travel 3/4 of the way to my address and turn back to go back on himself (he was called Mario). I called him but he didn't pick up. I called Cafe la Maison and the person who answered confirmed the driver had picked up the food prior to the call. I completely get that it's the fault of the driver, but the owner was in no way helpful to me despite the situation. Ultimately it was their food and I hadn't received the order I paid for. He didn't offer to send a reorder or think of an alternative solution to mitigate the issues, which I assumed he'd not think twice about - a gesture of goodwill given the circumstances. An UberEATS driver will be eating that order as we speak. Don't bother ordering from them if it's with UberEATS because if they mess it up the cafe won't help you.

Forgot my falafel in my wrap and my cupcake was frozen and was told by the delivery man to wait 15 minutes for it to defrost and to eat it at room temperature. Well I want it now but it's so frozen it will probably take hours to defrost. Won't order from here again.

Although cakes were good,I ordered a chicken Pasta which was bland no taste and chicken was hard ,I'm not usually a complainer

Here we found the best cake on our holiday. We are quiet picky, and were very pleased. Professional and nice staff. We will visit again.

Nothing fresh about their juices and when I called they put me on to 3 different people and then said contact just eat for a refund - no apologies or anything appalled by their lack of customer service and the rest of the food was pretty below par. Hardly any beef on the steak sandwich. First time I've been disappointed by a menu so much! Avoid at all costs

Food wasn't on time. Drinks were forgotten. But they did come and deliver the drink after I called and complained. Food quality was good overall.

Excellent food, service and delivery timing. Nothing to fault, would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Our daily croissant provider. Every morning bright and early were were able to acquire the most heavenly croissants freshly made and served with a smile. Our server came from Tunisia and was telling us about his country just before the horrible terrorist attack. Saddened but we still bought the crunchy croissants.

Ein gutes Restaurant/ Konditorei im arabischen Teil von London. Wir waren positiv überrascht wie gut (und preiswert) man hier essen kann. Wir wollten u.a. Jacket potatoes (gefüllte Ofenkartoffel) essen und wurden nach langem Suchen hier fündig. Lecker!! Auch die Süßigkeiten sind sehr empfehlenswert. Diese werden in der eigenen Küche hergestellt und durch die Glasscheibe kann man zuschauen.

Best food and value for money I've had to date (and that's a lot over the years).

I ordered a chicken fajita wrap, a steak baguette and the pesto pasta. All of it was really, really nice and I would definitely order from them again .

I had a sandwich here, and it tasted yummy. I also ordered a couple desserts - macaroons. I was less keen on these. I have had better. I ordered the peach one, but it did not taste like peach. It could be a little better. service was very friendly.
