I went with my son to celebrate his 30th birthday. The food and drink was nice a d well presented. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and clearly loved the cat's. There were about 20 cat's there and you are encouraged to play with them without picking them up. Although it is a bit expensive it is well worth it to see the cat's so happy and loved.

Lovely Café. The cats are very relaxed and clearly well looked after. The café was designed to give them plenty of opportunities to play, climb and snooze.

Staff were very nice, welcoming and friendly and told us some information about cats. Cats are lovely and socialised and most are happy to be pet or play for a bit. They seem very well taken care of and there is a lot of more space than in other cat cafes which we liked, also we found the atmosphere calming. It probably depends what time you come as well as there were periods of time when kitties were playful but also time when they (understandably!) got a bit tired and wanted to sleep and rest. But the place feels relaxed and you can simply chill with the cats. All kitties were friendly but we absolutely loved Lyla who is quite a young cat and a total sweetheart. She is so cute and playful! There are also many places for cats to retreat as well if they do not want an interaction. The one thing I was wondering was if there was a rule about not interacting with cats when they go sit on the “high shelves” (but are not asleep) as occasionally customers tried to pet them when they sat there but cats seemed to want some peace (but maybe not completely retreat). I would say overall cats seemed very comfortable and happy and they were quite curious and happy to engage in some play. All in all, it was a lovely visit and we would recommend it and come here again.

Fantastic place. Cats are well looked after and staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all the cats. We ordered a pizza, which was delicious and coffees were lovely batista style. We odered a birthday package that included cupcakes, Lemonade, a personalised birthday card with badge and cat ears to wear and keep. If you love cats you will love Lady Dinahs!

First time here and would definitely recommend and would love to return! Went as a valentines date and it was so chill and relaxing, you could tell the cats were really well looked after and the staff were really friendly!! Pro tip the ‘happy meower’ is a really good deal they offer in the week however it did feel really quick.

i’m a regular at lady dinah’s and i’ve always had an amazing experience. the cat carers are extremely attentive, (the staff in general are super friendly) and the drinks are always great. the cats are very well taken care of, and the rules in place definitely keep them safe and healthy. i’ll be back soon! until then, here’s a picture of daz in a box:

First time at a cat café had a great afternoon tea and scones friendly cats and staff will definitely attend again in the future

Unfortunately, our experience here was not the best. The café was quite dirty, and everything was quite run down including the towels & toys. The cats itself was lovely but everything felt ramshackle. Many people crowded over a few cats and I felt like they got quite frustrated, understandably. Similar to other reviews, I did feel like the cats were not that enthusiastic about being played with. Still super lovely to be in their presence none the less. Think the place would be better after a good spruce.

My 13 year old daughter announced, 5 minutes after arriving, that she wanted to move in! And that when shes older, she would like to work at a cat cafe! I don't think a review can get any better than that. Thank you to all the friendly, helpful staff and all the curious cats and kittens that wandered over for a sniff or a chin scratch. A purrrfect experience, and one we are keen to repeat.

A wonderful place with such amazing cats! They are all happy, healthy and cute. Some like to snooze, eat or play. You get a generous hour and a half to sit and eat or drink and watch as they pass you by. Lovely, friendly staff. I just cannot believe some of these negative reviews from stupid people who expect this to be some sort of cat circus! Have respect for them and they will come and play with you in their OWN time!!

I visited for the first time today, and the staff were very kind and allowed us to amend our booking to a later time which is greatly appreciated. During our visit, I began to pet a black kitten, which responded by purring and cuddling into my hand. This interaction lasted for about five minutes, during which the cat closed and opened its eyes a few times. However, shortly after this, a staff member walked past and, from a significant distance across the cafe, shouted out to me, "Sorry, you need to leave that cat alone if it is sleeping, sorry." This remark was made loudly, to the surprise of my partner and the other guests nearby. Regardless of what that staff member may have perceived, I do not believe it is appropriate to address a paying guest in such a manner. It would have been more respectful to approach and speak to me directly. The remainder of the visit was generally pleasant; however, this particular incident was notably impactful.

I think places like this a nice and different, and it's great that they are looking after rescue cats, it seems that the cats are healthy and well. To give a critique though I have to admit me and my wife didn't really leave feeling "happier" than when we went in. The cats themselves really just avoid people at all costs or ignore them completely, it's really hard to play with them etc... I understand animals are not there for our amusement, so this is totally fine, but just a warning that if you want to go there to play with cats, you're going to be really REALLY disappointed.

I will be recommending this cat cafe to everyone I know! One of the best things about it is that children under 12 are not allowed! This immediately sold the place to me - other cat cafes have children storming around screaming and disturbing the cats. The staff are wonderful and knowledgable about the cats and what they like - they helped us to socialise with them and gave us lots of facts. Anyone complaining about the price are evidently not the cat lovers they make themselves out to be - it goes towards their medical care, enrichment and the staff that nurture them?! I saw more reviews about the rules being too stern - just people who can’t respect a being needing privacy… All they ask is that if a cat is sleeping or grooming then to not disturb them ❤️ The scone I had was very yummy and my sisters enjoyed their drinks. The environment the cats have to play in is great, so many platforms and hidey holes! We visited right at the end of the day and so anticipated that the cats would’ve been tired out and overstimulated. We were happy to just see lots of cats 😅 but we got so much attention from them! I think your enjoyment of the place and success with the cats is much more to do with whether you understand cat behaviour and how to respect them in their home 🐾🐈

We went for a late afternoon snack, and everything was very pleasant. The cafe operates in time slots for which you have to book in advance. Everything is really nice, clean, and well operated. I enjoyed a nice milkshake, and shared some cake with my partner, who had a martini (all cat-inspired). All the staff is amazing, friendly, and very helpful and knowledgeable. The cats are so nice and well socialised, too! Iago in particular was amazing, and he enjoyed the attentions and the cuddles. He came around, purred, headbutted (in a nice way) and was generally very happy! We booked for a weekend, which in retrospect I would not recommend if you can go at other times in the week because the cats have been interacting with people all day and they might be tired, if you're specifically looking to play and pet them. In any case, totally recommended if you are a cat love, have some budget to support them, and don't suffer from any allergy!

I took my best friend here for their birthday, they absolutely loved it! Chloe was our waiter and they were so lovely and helpful. We were told all about the cats throughout the experience and had a brilliant time playing with them all. Will definitely be visiting again!

Cute place with a whimsical vibe to it. The kitties are absolutely adorable and are taken care of so well. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind to the kitties and the customers. Very well socialized cats who love getting pets! The drinks and food were tasty as well. I really loved the peach iced tea and the mint and cucumber iced tea I got. The drinks are also quite large too and good for the price + you are giving back to the kitties by getting drinks! I loved my time here and will be coming back again and again.

Had a lovely cream tea with the cats this afternoon. As a cat lover and experienced owner, I loved to see how well cared for the clowder are! It was a little frustrating to see other visitors crowding the cats, following them round as they were visibly moving way and trying to get some peace, or ignoring "back off" body language. However it was so clear that the cat carers love their little charges and I'm sure they would step in if they had seen it or if things escalated. My cat shaped scone was delicious, warm and soft and I loved my jasmine lime tea. I'm sat at home craving another! I had a great time respectfully interacting with the cats who were feeling playful (it was later in the afternoon so many were having a well deserved snooze.) I enjoyed seeing the lovely little guys I follow on Instagram in the flesh. Kind of like kitty celebrity spotting. Particular highlight for me was watching Hippo fling himself off the cat tower by accident, I assume trying to intercept the braincell as well as present his belly for rubs...and then later his skillful scoffing of several dinners 😂 This is a lovely spot run by lovely people.

(Nov 2024, duration one hour) Unlike 2019 (at least it seems to me), simply coming without consumption costs a good £13, and you now have to book in advance even when you go on a whim, this makes less spontaneous. Then, I misunderstood that the meal was IN ADDITION to the price. Especially since I felt really SHIPPED there, a quarter of an hour before while I had not yet ordered dessert they made it clear to me that I had to leave soon, and 10 minutes before the hour I was made to understand that I would soon have to leave... Cats are magnificent, but it's still a little small for them.

Our third visit to lady dinah's. Great place for cat lovers. There were approx 20 cats in there. Love the environment and all the hiding places they have. Miss the old favourite resident called Wookie. Sweet cats and black kittens to fuss. We had tea and a scone which was lovely. Could do with a lick of paint/TLC now, our first visit was when it had not long opened so you could notice the wear and tear. Worth a visit.

What an absolutely wonderful experience here. They have so many adorable cats and kittens who love playing with you. The staff are simply wonderful and really care about what they do.

The best cat cafe in London! I've been to other cafes before but I definitely liked this one much more. They know all the cats very well and introduce them to you, the staff is very attentive, it's obvious that they enjoy working in this cat cafe. I definitely recommend it, I plan on coming again.

Lovely cafe loved the Christmas feel at the moment! The cats are much loved and always looked after. Everything is clean and hygienic and you have a station to wash your hands before entering into where the cats reside. Went at lunch at had the lovely vegan bagel- would recommend. Staff are lovely and they helped me rehome a ginger stray earlier in the year. Looking forward to returning.

I have now visited the Cat Cafe for the third time. I have really enjoyed all my visits, as the cats are so nice. However the staff are also very nice and are happy to go through all the cats names and their history with you. There are 20 cats and wide variety of breads, so sure you will find your own favourite. Watch out for Oliver who is a lovely tux cat who also reminds me of Bat Man. There is also Pipkin who is a friendly Calico cat. I look forward to my next visit in the new year.

We visited for afternoon cream tea and to see all the cats. There were around 20 cats, some playing, some sleeping and others roaming about. It was really lovely to watch all the cats and kittens with their own personalities. Staff were on hand to advise you about the cats and to ensure no one was badgering the cats. Staff also got a few cats engaged jumping from shelf to shelf and catching things. Tea and scone was a great added extra. A well run caring cat emporium and a great place to visit, would also be an ideal gift for someone who likes cats

I was taken here for a Christmas present and we had an amazing time. The cats were all really lovely and full of personality, and our 90 minute slot flew by as we were having so much fun playing with the cats. Would love to adopt one if I were in a position to!!

Yesterday was my 3rd visit. I really love visiting this place because obviously I am a cat lover. The staff are great with the cats and are happy to fill you in with their names & history. We had an amazing experience with the cats and kittens. Some were lively and playful, others content with sitting there and sleeping. I stroked a few and even got my fingers licked by one of them. The staff were friendly and attentive and helped get some of the cats more engaged to keep people entertained. Once the food bowls came out all the cats were mobile and running to their food, after that they wanted to chill. I think people forget this is where the cats are living, we are the guests so let them come to you, and respect each of their unique ways

First time visiting this lovely cafe. You can make a reservation online or just come. Many tables. The drinks I ordered also great. There are more than 20 cats and each one is enjoying themselves. You can interact with them with toys. The staff here are all lovely and really care about the cats. I had a great time here 😆😆

An amazing place with a suuper friendly staff

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending this very special kitty cafe and spent sometime getting to know the very cute local feline residents 🐈💕. They were absolutely sweet and so well behaved and any stresses just melted away . I also chatted with the staff who were friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and very welcoming. I know London has other cat cafes but this one is so soo special and the decor feels like something from a movie set . The snacks on offer are delicious too. I can't recommend visiting this cafe highly enough. I also love the care they take to rehabilitate these cats prior to rehoming. It's a cafe with heart in it's purpose. Thank you for this special place, I look forward to coming back and hope it's well supported and around for many many years to come 🙂💗

Very expensive a rip off it was £20 per person which is ridiculous entry fee having paid £6 in Leeds in a much cleaner more friendly environment. We spent £60 in total with the entrance fee and 4 coffees!! The cats clearly not that bothered and most it didn’t seem they wanted to be there it was smelly and not particularly pleasant environment for humans let alone cats. Disappointed wouldn’t recommend!

Had an amazing afternoon tea there! Went last Sunday and my partner got the birthday package as surprise for me, it was so much fun. They have a very whinsical decorated interior, all the cats were really sweet and we definitely fell a little bit in love with Merry and Pippin while we were there! Lots of toys you can use to play with the cats and amazing drinks - would recommend their special blend tea!

100% recommend going here if you are able too! the staff are lovely, know the cats well and the cats are very well looked after! The cats have so much space to roam around and the place is well decorated to suit their needs. No foul smells and not too many people. It was a lovely experience playing with the cats, giving them cuddles and being able to feed them treats over a glass of wine and a snack. It is also amazing to see all the incredible work they do for cats and what our entry fee goes towards 🙂 In my opinion it’s a good price and helps them shelter cats! Even a small gift shop you can buy a momento from! Will defo be back if I am ever in the area!

A lovely afternoon spent in the company of cats. The cream tea was lovely and cats were interesting to watch. Nice surroundings, friendly staff and an assortment of cats in all colours and sizes.

We bought this as a 13th birthday gift for my daughters bestie. We went as a group (two kids; two mums). My eldest had recommended it after going with a friend a few years ago (pre covid) for a birthday tea and cake. I'd been waiting for the youngest to turn twelve so we could go too. The wait was worth it! we had a lovely time watching and stroking the cutest playful kittens and sleepy lazy cats. They were all super lovely and looked to be very happy. They were in good condition and behaved exactly as you'd expect cats to behave. They're even less skittish than our rescue cats probably because they are so used to strangers. Some reviewers did experience this, so I was worried we'd not really get to interact with many cats, but I'm glad to say that wasn't our experience at all. The carers and staff are friendly and really know who's who and seem to really care. Our waitress was really sweet and we had a nice chat about how she much preferred this to working in a bar - I don't blame her! My friend and I commented on how tranquil and relaxed we felt the minute we entered. Animals are fantastic therapy and I felt calm and fully relaxed. There were quite a few couples which I thought was really sweet - way to win brownie points! The theme is a whimsical Alice and Wonderland style with lots of hidey holes to seek out fluffy friends. Some people reviewed it being dark and dingy downstairs but we didn't think that at all. It's like a theme and really well done too. There are even the cutest portraits of the gorgeous rehomed past residents on the wall decked out in their finery! The cats are gorgeous and if we didn't already have two I think we'd have come home having placed an adoption request. My special faves were Bagheera, the sleek black kitten, and Agatha, the fluffy tuxedo cat (a perfect mix of my Tuxedo cat and my fluffy black cat). There were 20 cats and kittens in the cafe on the day. Feeding time was a little after 1.15pm that day which was a treat - we booked for 12.30 and she did say it's a good time to visit - it was!! We ordered the scones and tea option. £24 off peak (it was a random inset day mid term - perfect!) the scones were warm and delicious and a cute cat face shape and the mums have the Lady Dina special tea (early grey and rose petal - stronger than regular earl grey). This came with jam and clotted cream from little jars and pots so all fresh. The peach iced tea was also delish! Of course you're not paying for the food - it's the experience 90 mins with kittens for around £16 (off peak rate) is not expensive for London activities. This pays for the upkeep, insurance, medical needs, property rental, food, staff etc. Some reviewers didn't seem to realise that and felt this was the cost of the tea and scones. Clearly not cat owners or they'd know how expensive insurance, good food and vet bills can be! Another review I read suggested they'd have only paid those prices in a more affluent part of London - I thought that was shocking and why should an establishment in Bethnal Green not benefit from what I felt was a fair price. Places like these bring visitors which supports the community and I'm very happy to do that. We can all the way from Surrey and loved every minute. We were very happy to support this gorgeous venture and hope to visit it again one day. The little thank you card (with I think a gorgeous pic of Bagheera this time) were a cute touch and a nice way o say your time is coming to an end. We didn't feel rushed at all and totally expected to be told near the end of our time - we'd paid for 90 minutes after all. Thank you so much for a super fun day and an amazing birthday gift. PS there are little souvenirs and the girls each got a pair of super fluffy cat print socks for £5 which wasn't bad for novelty socks either.

4th Visit: if you need to relax and be surrounded by these beautiful cats having food and beverages of your choice then head here. All thr cats are very well taken care of and loved by the carers, staff and customers alike. I always enjoy coming here. Each cat is so unique and they will all be your favourite for different reasons. Had lots of snuggles with Princess Pippin the floofy one 💕 . The only downside is when you have to leave 🐈💜 3rd Visit: 13/09/24 - BACK for the third time and was lucky to see two beautiful panther kittens. The cat carer, the lady with the blonde pony tail I think her name is Martina is an outstanding cat carer (catalogist / catician lol). She was very professional and when one of the kittens went on the play wheel and I moved it she very politely explained that the kittens were not ready yet to use it and got me Moriarty's favourite red feather toy. However, Gimli was being a little bully that day but beautiful Agatha and Pippin love their kitty massages! 2nd Visit: 22/08/24 - Returned for my second visit and had a brilliant time with the cats! They were pretty active and Charlie enjoyed jumping and playing. Kitty therapy works these lovely, sweet fur balls relax you and the staff are very hardworking and kind. 1st Visit: 16/05/24 - Really enjoyed being here with the lovely cats who are very well taken care of and showered with affection and care by the amazing staff. 💕🐱 There are two rooms - the Mad Hatters Tea Party room on the first level down then the enchanted Forest room at the lower level. You are free to walk around all levels and play with the cats who you can stroke. The cats may come to you snd sit next to you or on your lap but do not pick them up. There is a cool guide and other goodies you can buy in a souvenir pack that tells you lots about Lady Dinah's and the cats and what they like. There is an excellent and tasty selection of savory and sweet food on offer and delicious hot and cold drinks so go for it. I hope to go back soon! I got some lovely coffee beans and other items from the gift shop too.

I went to Lady Dinah's today and had a lovely time. The cats are adorable and looked after really well. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and caring. The food and drink were great. I had the white chocolate with coconut milk and violet syrup, which was wonderful. I shall definitely return.

Very friendly staff, gave us great information about the rules and the cats. Loveliest cat café I have visited, lovely interior, staff and obviously adorable cats. A lot of cats live there which is good because all the guests can find a cat to entertain and play with, while the cats do have lot of hidings spots and a lot of interior to climb on. The visit was one of the parts of my London-trip.

Fantastic experience. Very accomating of reasonable adjustments needed by disabled guest. Warm and welcoming team. Contented and well cared for cats. The Alice in Wonderland theme is magical.

The place is extremely well designed for cats. The cats are the primary residents here and all of them are very friendly and playful. Great experience for anybody who likes animals. Also tried their ice teas, which were really good.

It's a nice idea.... crossing a coffee with an animal shelter :) £11.00/h as entry is not a small amount, but the cats also have to be looked after. However, to give even the slightest impression of a coffee house, you should wipe the dust and not place the litter box right next to the table. It's a fairy tale that all cat owners want to smell like cats and are messes ;)

The cream teas and cocktails were wonderful, the atmosphere was chrlarming and the staff friendly and attentive. The work they do is essential and it's a fine way to spend an afternoon.

When we arrived, the staff took the time to thoroughly explain all the rules. The café has a wonderful variety of beverages and treats. The English tea, paired with a delicious scone with jam and cream, was exceptional. Unfortunately, the cats weren’t in a playful mood during our visit, which was a bit disappointing. They were quite passive, but still incredibly cute, and just being around them brought us joy. Despite the quieter interaction with the cats, the overall experience was enjoyable. We paid £20 for an hour, which felt fair for the atmosphere and the chance to relax with some adorable companions.

We have visited other cat cafes but this one stands out for me. The cat carers are friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They know the cats and their quirks so well. This makes the difference for me from ones where it's just about the products being sold.

First visit & hopefully not my last! Wonderful place with adorable cats & very friendly staff. The cats were endearingly aloof to us visiting humans but the way they interacted with the carers was so sweet 🥹 The cats are obviously very well looked after which was lovely to see & feeding time was a kitty stampede lol! Oliver bless him had waited patiently by the door for 30 mins listening out for lunch 😂 I can totally relate to that! 🤣🤣 If you love our feline friends then this place is definitely worth a visit x

There was a rude guest there during my experience who would not let anyone else pet the cats, but after speaking with the cat handler, she professionally handled that guest and everything else went smoothly. All of the cats were so sweet and playful, the tea was delicious, the scone amazing, and I enjoyed the cheese platter.

Amazing experience! Loved every moment and wished we could have stayed longer as the ambience was perfect and just enjoying ourselves with the cats. It felt like we got lost in the wonderland ourselves and the cats were so cute! The staff were super friendly too. Will definitely recommend for anyone who loves animals and thinking of getting a cat.

Clean, really clean, bright, great service, nice cats, friendly people. Only minus was the cat-entertainer, who was very hyper and even waking up sleeping cats 🐈 . Furthermore, the best cat café I've visited so far.

Zora, the calico cat, was particularly sweet and affectionate, while Charlie, the tabby cat, was a playful and energetic companion. I also had the pleasure of meeting Moriarty, the grey cat, who seemed to enjoy observing the world from his favorite perch. The staff at Lady Dinah's are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their feline friends. They were always happy to answer my questions and provide recommendations for drinks and snacks. The menu offers a variety of delicious treats, from freshly brewed coffee to indulgent afternoon tea. If you're looking for a unique and relaxing experience in London, I highly recommend visiting Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium. It's the perfect place to unwind, make new friends, and enjoy the company of some adorable cats.

Lots of cats with different characters. Not too many visitors so the cats like to be petted. Animal-friendly and quiet. The drinks were good and inexpensive. Relatively expensive for a family because a 90 minute slot has to be booked for 20 pounds per person. But all in all recommended!

Great idea for a date. Visited cafe in the morning, we saw some sleepy and some energetic felines. We were able to play with and pet most of the kittens. Lots of fun.

I absolutely loved this place! It’s a delightful spot where you can admire a variety of cats while enjoying a cup of coffee or indulging in a delicious brownie. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the cats and provides them with exceptional care. There is a reasonable entry fee, and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the drinks and meals are. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a cozy, cat-filled escape!

A Purr-fectly Delightful Experience at Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium I recently visited Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium and had an absolute blast playing with all the adorable kitties—there were 17 in total during our visit! One of the highlights was meeting a mama cat and her precious litter of three. We arrived at 5:30 PM, so some of the kitties were winding down after a busy day, but there were still plenty with playful energy that made our time truly enjoyable. The atmosphere was impressively clean; although the kitty litter was visible, there was no unpleasant odor whatsoever. It’s amazing how well-maintained the space is, which added to the overall experience. All the cats appeared healthy and happy, clearly well cared for by the staff. Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly engaging, introducing us to the kitties and taking the time to play with them while we were there. It was heartwarming to see how much the cats love their caregivers. As a visitor from the States, I was a bit surprised by the cost of admission, but I can confidently say it was well worth it. The delicious coffees, complete with cute stencils, were the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. If you’re a cat lover, Lady Dinah’s is a must-visit! I can’t wait to return!
