One Mile End in Tower Hamlets

Buen ambiente, bien bien, bien cocina de servicio abierta hasta las 9. (21,) ubicado en el medio de Whitechappel. .

Pasamos un tiempo increíble allí en la noche de comedia, gente genial y ambiente. Disfruté de mi noche y me sentí bienvenido.

Qué diferencia hace 3 meses. Última visita en septiembre cuando tuvimos una buena experiencia. Esta vez fue para una reunión familiar antes de ir por separado en Navidad. Fue un día muy frío, pero no se intentó calentar el lugar ni detener el viento. Grandes huecos debajo y entre las puertas significaban que el viento soplaba directamente sobre nuestra mesa. Los 3 de nosotros en el extremo de la puerta de la mesa teníamos que mantener abrigos y bufandas. No había velas en la mesa. Teníamos que buscar las propias mesas vacías y encenderlas. La iluminación de Navidad no estaba encendida. Tuvimos que preguntar, no música. Se encendió no mucho antes de que nos fuéramos: no hay atmósfera. El único miembro del personal que fue útil y preocupado fue alguien que reconocimos que había trabajado en una sucursal de Efes a lo largo de Mile End Road. El otro miembro del personal, que inicialmente estaba detrás de la barra, estaba repitiendo los movimientos. La comida estaba bien, pero no lo suficiente como para redimir el lugar. No volveremos

Visité este pub en una tarde soleada y no me impresionó. Pedí algunos aperitivos y la comida era muy mediocre. El calamar era totalmente sosa, sin sal ni pimienta en absoluto; los croquetes de guisantes y jamón eran puré de guisantes con pequeñas tiras de jamón tirado (muy lejos en el medio); la ensalada en ambos platos era en su mayoría lechuga, sin aderezo para hablar. La comida tardó casi 30 minutos en servirse (con un pub casi vacío). La sidra era agradable y refrescante y el pub está bien decorado.

One Mile End is a friendly little brewery working out of Redemption's old premises, creating interesting and experimental craft beers as well as offering a co-branded London-distilled gin. Worth a visit !

What an excellent pub opposite the Royal London - how lucky to be taken here. Snake charmer pale ale - wonderful (although a little strong) such fun

More I visit and more I realise that the beers are seriously good. I love craft beers and tried many other local breweries and I think that one mile end is definitely one of the best in London! The pale ale is excellent, I really like Gose de sel (Beware it is a sour beer) and the rye IPA is probably my favourite IPA in London right now.

This Pub has amazing assortment of beers and other drinks. Weekend Breakfasts are incredible and the best deals ever for hangover mornings. Me and my partner always happy to pop in when just pass buy to enjoy the atmosphere and amazing food. Well deserved place especially 5 STARS to Chef! He has a perfect selection in menu and he always will go forward to make your day! high class food comparing with the price you don't need to go to posh restaurant Just go there! Sincerely

This is a fantastic beer pub, with an amazing selection of ales, stouts and lagers from the east end.

We had two very nice evenings here with very good food and delicious beer. Definitely worth a visit!

Visited here with my Wife, (December 18th) on our way back from Winter Wonderland, in Hyde Park. We saw that this Pub was open until midnight and rushed there from the Tube, to grab a quick drink before going back to our Hotel. We were served at 11.52pm. I asked for a pint of Cider (Aspells, I think?) and a half for my Wife. I was told that last orders had been called, and after practically begging for a drink (before the Bar was actually closed), I was told I could have a half!!! Accepted the offer of a half, and drank it in about 3 minutes, then ordered another one before they called time!..... Pointless exercise, really. If you advertise that you close at midnight, that is the last time you should serve. I appreciate that staff are keen to get straight out of the door, but sometimes that is not possible, or fair on the paying customer. Didn't mention it at the time, as I didn't want to come across as an arrogant so and so, but I run a large Pub and would never turn away revenue during advertised opening hours. As long as the drinks are consumed during a 30 minute drinking up period, that is fine by me. Anyway, it would be unfair of me to only heap criticism on this Pub. The staff were actually very friendly. The Pub had a good ambience and decor, and the range of drinks was impressive. Would definately visit again, but probably earlier... To avoid the embarrassment of begging for a drink!!!

Sunday 17h looking for a good roast. We found this bar cosy and friendly. the beer choice is perfect, several very good tap beer. The roast was marvelous, crispy and tender, nice portion and super taste! Definitely a must-try!

capitiamo qui nella speranza di farci qualche buona birra, tanto per inzuppare abbiniamo dei fritti , ottimi. Personale gentile ed empatico, il barista ci ha fatto assaggiare tutte le birre a disposizione prima di farci scegliere, fantastiche le birre di loro produzione, ma anche quelle ospiti ben selezionate. Consigliato.

All of which were excellent. Second time we went the service was great as was the beer + food + everything else Third time we went everything was great until we needed to order drinks from the bar from a member of staff who thinks he's way to cool. His severe hair cut matched his approach to customer service.

My boyfriend and I live nearby so time to time we pop in for lunch here. Not a single time we were disappointed. Quick service and AMAZING food!! Thank you chef!!

We'd been to the Blind Beggar on the opposite corner, and I wanted to check out this pub, as I could see from reviews that it was not only a bar selling craft beer but that it was also a brewpub too. I wasn't disappointed. There was a great selection of cask ales; both brewed at the pub and third party offerings. We ended up staying for 2-3 hours and partaking of a few delicious well-kept pints. The food menu looked interesting, but we arrived just as the restaurant was closing at the end of the lunchtime session, and we didn't stay to eat in the evening. The pub was bright and clean and the bar staff was friendly, and knowledgeable too.

That pub changed a lot and it changed in a good way. They now brew their beers in the basement. With few friends, we decided to try few of them. There beers are seriously good, full of character and intense in flavours. The pale ale...

We were staying nearby and went for a walk to find somewhere for lunch, found this place and were not disappointed. Place is very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Staff are amazing letting us taste the cider and wine before we bought them and swapping things...
