We're do I start. I had booked a party for my son 5th birthday, everything went well kids had fun nice spacious area. My son was playing in a play area in this cafe and was attacked by a child scratch the side of his face. The owner was not really bothered thought he would had a cared a little as my son only 5. The lady of the son who attacked my 5 year old was taken in the cafe by the owner the he decided to phone the police.which I am still baffled when it was my son that got attacked. I would of recommended this place to anyone but when the owner show little care for my son and other kids that attended the party. This made me no the type of person he is racist

Enjoyed an outstanding Sunday roast last Sunday and at and highly recommend! The lamb shank as seen in the photo was fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with flavour, and paired perfectly with a generous helping of roasties, Yorkshire pudding, and seasonal veg. The beef roast was equally impressive, beautifully cooked (pink and juicy!) and full of that classic comfort-food goodness. Add in the cosy pub atmosphere and friendly service, and you’ve got the recipe for a lovely Sunday meal.

Whilst the Brook's main dishes consist of battered and fried chicken and fish replacements from the asian supermarket (by the brand TKC, see pictures attached), the owner Thea - a miserably failed country singer- is literally one of the most passive aggressive, arrogant, evil, ungrateful and patronising employers I have ever had. 0 capability to own a business or take any responsibility or accountability, ever. As a vegan herself, it seems quite pretentious to brand yourself as someone who's nice to animals but a total bully to humans/ employees. This place looks closed for now and seems to have gotten what it deserved. Rebranding an already existing, asian product as your own, simply does sit not well with me and shouts peak of white entitlement.

If you're looking for a spot to truly unwind, this pub nails the chilled atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is low-key and welcoming—think soft lighting, and friendly staff who don’t rush you. The seating is cozy without being cramped, nice garden area. Food is okay but could be more varied. Fries yummy.
