Best fish n chips I've ever had. The place is always busy. The prices are reasonable and the portions huge

I live in Carshalton and I have been using Manor Fish Bar for years: Best fish &chips for miles and friendly owner. Some moan about waiting, especially at busy times, but I'd wait anytime for freshly fried fish and chips with crispy batter - worth the wait.

We will only use the Manor Fish Bar for our meal when we’re in the area, the best quality fish always cooked fresh to order, if you’ve tried the rest now try the best, but at busy times be prepared to wait you will not be disappointed.

There’s no question they do the best chips within the area. They are always on point. Can’t recommend enough My gripe is the minimum £8 before they take card. In this day and age it’s ridiculous and very short sighted of them. The transaction fee businesses are charged is relative to the cost of goods so a minimum spend is pointless and inconvenient. Puts me off going. Who carries cash nowadays?

The best in terms of hot, fresh and portion sizes. Only thing is cash only. But thats ok atleast you use all you change up etc. There is often confusion in the line but mainly due to num heads poking there phones and not paying attention to the queing system

I have eaten from here on many occasions since moving to Wallington and never been disappointed. The fish is always fresh, cooked to order and perfectly fried in lovely, crunchy batter. The chips are excellent too. Portion size is more than generous and the prices extremely competitive. The restaurant is never less than immaculate. The owner is a true gentleman, courteous and friendly. Without a doubt one of the top chippies in London. Please ignore the obviously fake bad reviews!

In my opinion this fish and chip shop is the best in the area. Portions are generous , chips and fish perfectly cooked. Owners are so friendly and polite -surprised to see any reviews stating otherwise. I’d definitely recommend!

Owner is rude, customer service totally shambolic, food is nothing special. Chipsmiths in Carshalton or millennium are much more welcoming.

Waited outside there for 15-minutes to go in done my order stood outside a few of his friends came in he served them first and left us waiting outside to waiting for our food so not very good service at all no regards for his customers only the ones he knows so will definitely not be going there again

Cleanest, friendliest and tastiest chips. This is a family run chip shop with the best chips running I. The family. Very clean in there and the service is so good. Can't wait to have this as my first lockdown take away.

The fish and chips here is very fresh and tastes awesome. Their mushy peas is also very tasty indeed. The owners are friendly and insist on serving fresh so can take a little longer but is worth the wait.

I originally come from Nth London (Wembley) , I have tried many fish & chip shops all over England and this one is one of the best , the fish is prepared well and cooked perfectly , there is a wide choice on the menu and as far as I have tasted they are all perfect , also at this shop the prices are really good , carry on and we can all really enjoy your fish & chips , thank .

The best,freshest Fish & Chips in Wallington. Family run and very friendly staff..everything is fried fresh so you will have to wait a little; but definitely worth it. I've been coming here for years & highly recommend this first class establishment. The staff work very hard; so anyone complaining about the wait time..please remember you are getting freshly fried food..not pre-cooked reheated.

Traditional local fish & chip shop - always great food well priced with good service. As it is popular you will find the queue out the door between 5.30pm and 6.00pm on a Friday night.

Not had a bad meal from here. Always cooked fresh and delivered hot. Staff polite. A place I have used quite a lot of times. Just be aware - closes before pubs turn out.

We have been going here ever since they first opened over 20 years ago. The fish and chips are always freshly cooked which means at peak times you can be waiting a while, but it's worth it. Other chippies cook in advance and you can find that your fish has been in the hot cabinet for a while, but not here. Other places pre-cook the chips and then reheat when you call in, but again not here, where all the food is freshly cooked.The staff are friendly and always ask how our children are and what they are doing. They remember every little detail that we have told them over the years.At peak times, you can wait nearly half an hour from arriving to leaving, but that just shows how popular and good the place is.

Love this place yes you have to wait but it always worth it ! ( only thing missing is gravy but then I am a northerner and I know after 27 years darn sarf it ain’t happening !)

Excellent food, though you have to queue and wait. It took approx 20 minutes, but it was worth the wait. Best tasting fish i have had for a long time, only bettered at the coast when the fish is fresh from the boat.

This is a popular chippy but the owner has no idea how to deal with peak times. A good chippy will shout as people come in to get things cooking, they don’t , everyone queues and then when you finally get served often after 10 minutes, you have to wait another 15. Avoid if you are really hungry. Go to Wallington fish bar instead, they know what they are doing

Very fresh cod, delicious and generous portion. Not so keen on the Rock but that is not my preferred fish.

Not just fish but a range of different cooked pies,sausages etc. Friendly service nice sized portions well cooked and tasty.

The fish is always good and the batter is perfect, the chips are also perfect every time. This is a popular plaice especially on a Friday, so turn up early or be prepared to wait it's worth it!

I use this Fish Bar regularly. It has a 5 star rating. The food is beautifully cooked, a huge selection of fish, pies, sausages etc. and has a vegetarian menu.The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It is a family run business and has that certain extra touch. I would recommend Manor Fish Bar to everyone.

Great Fish and Chips, we always go back as the food is always hot and fresh. The place is clean and the service is quick, even on the weekend when the queue is long.

This is bar far the best fish and chips in tastes in ages very economical and great value for what it costs infact got to be the cheapest around and the food is just awesome and the staff are so friendly and ever so polite and the chips are cooked so good they are awesome I really highly recommend manor fish bar in wallington for the best fish and chips

I know everyone generally says that their local fish and chip shop is the best - but i firmly think that this one is! There is always a queue, but that's because they generally cooked the fish from fresh, the cod are juicy and tasty - cant beat having it with mushy peas

Good value for the area, good tasty fish, plenty of chips, although curry sauce is tasty, bit overpriced. That's the only thing wrong.

We have been getting our fish and chips here for the last 5 years and have never been disappointed. Wide and varied selection on the menu. Normally freshly cooked and very generous portions.

Been visiting this place for years and it's the best chippie I've seen and I'm lucky enough to have it at the end of the road. It's better than some I've been to in Brighton and they're a lot closer to the sea. Massive portions at reasonable prices with friendly staff. Only problem is that it's so popular that the wait can be a lengthy one.
