Very friendly staff . Chips could do with an extra minuite cooking. Fish although it is huge , there's just no taste to it . Very flaky even but again just no much flavour at all . The batter was quite greasy also . All round I'd give it a solid 6.5

Honestly so welcoming, even when it's packed you get the warmest welcome. The food is just delicious. Hot, tasty and fantastic portion sizes. Kids refuse to get a takeaway from anywhere else

We often get a Friday night takeaway from this local fish bar and would highly recommend. Everyone is so friendly, the main guy knows all the locals and welcomes anybody new. Food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely continue to come here! Our takeaway this evening was lovely as always. Thank you!

Was recommended by two mums at my sons school and it isn't the nearest chip shop to us. But it is definitely our go to fish and chip shop. Amazing fish and chips, decent size portion and good value. My kids were bouncing off the walls and i said to them give me a break I've not eaten all day. The owner gave me a small portion of chips while I was waiting, I said I was fasting and he gave me a date and water as it was close to breaking fast time. Very kind, generous and highly recommend family friendly business. Food too delicious to take a picture will do next time

Tasty food and speedy delivery, finally ordered from here after being recommended by a friend. Had the fried chicken, chicken burger and chips, was not disappointed!

The fish sauce was too thick but most importantly it wasn't good for fries and it was all stuck together, after a few bites I threw it all away.

Ordered haddock and chips and initially thought it was expensive, ordered it anyway and when it turned up the fish was basically soggy batter. Very disappointed and won’t be using it again.

We came here because of all the good reviews and I must say that it really didn’t dissappoint us! We’re from Amsterdam and we will definitely come back every time we visit London. Such a shame as staff are lovely but fish used to be in lovely thin crispy batter but the last two orders we have had the batter was about two inches thick raw and soggy which we were unable to eat im surprised there has not been more complaints

I have always been very impressed with the fish and chips in the past but tonight we have had to throw away all the batter on the fish. It was soggy and greasy, also the chips were barely warm. Great disappointment.

I go there for my lunch sometimes I am a very fussy person with where I eat but this place is great . The food is top quality and great tasting I've had several different meals from here and everytime always enjoyable and excellent size portions best place in the area by a country mile 👌 and very clean and tidy and the owner and staff are very polite and friendly

Meh - good and bad! Chips and gravy were tasty, but fish was cold, mushy peas were liquid, and the batter on the sausage was very chewy and not crispy.

I been to this place after reading positive google reviews. Very happy host/owner makes you feel welcome. Prices were reasonable, however fish was a bit undercooked. The batter was very thick that could be the reason the fish was undercooked. But I will still use them again n hope the quality is better next time.

For the right price you will get one of the best food and service in London! Keep it up guys and dont change anything! Lovely venue and staff!

Unfortunately, the food was terrible, the service was polite and punctual. The chips were luke warm and the fish was so greasy it was inedable. My daughter and I did not even eat it.

Updated from below: Following initial disappointment as noted, a revised order could not have been more different. The fish was fresh and plentiful, and a great portion of chips came with each. The owner clearly cares about customer service and providing great food. Clearly a one off blip the first time! Old review: Really looking forward to my first delivery from here and unfortunately such a disappointment. Cod was nice but the majority consisted of only thick batter. The haddock was one of the worst pieces of fish from a fish and chip shop I have had. Thin, overcooked and dry, and barely any fish there (ordered a large and it was anything but) surrounded by stodgy batter which was inedible. A tiny portion of chips each (even for a standard portion, I would expect more than a small handful) and the mushy peas was literally a cup of cold pea soup. I hate leaving a poor review for a local business but when you are paying almost £14 for a portion of fish and chips, which is one of the more expensive in the area, it's a shame to be left so disappointed. I would forgive the tiny portions of haddock and chips if the quality was good, but sadly wasn't the case. I hope this was a Tuesday blip for the restaurant that has had so many positive reviews.

Brilliant cod and chips we ordered 2 regular portions were really nice and generous portions too. My son had steak pie and chips he too thoroughly enjoyed his food we had a takeaway last night just stopped off on our way home. The food was cooked fresh for us well worth the wait. Not our first visit certainly won't be our last either. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

The portion sizes of the fish and chips were good, however I wasn't impressed by the quality. Both the cod and chips were greasy, which made them difficult to finish. In addition to this, the cod was watery on the inside and generally lacked flavour - some salt, vinegar & a lemon wedge wouldn't have gone amiss. The garlic mushrooms didn't warrant their price as they were also watery on the inside and loose from their batter. Lastly, the packaging was poor for a takeaway, the large portion of chips were wrapped in paper that got soaked in its grease, making a right mess, which was made worse by the fact that no tissues were provided.

Very hospitable and welcoming management. The fish n chips were surely amongst the best I’ve had. Went to pick up as they were offering delivery after 4pm but totally worth the drive. Good portion size and crispy coating with not very oily chips. Enjoyed every bite. Above all my father loved it more 🙌🏻
