Best fish and chips i ever tasted

Outstanding fish and chips. The portions are generous and tastes good. The prices are good for the portion sizes too. The service is excellent, Always friendly, and immaculately clean.

I was driving back from the airport yesterday and I can honestly say this is the Best Battered Sausage and chips that I have ever had in my life and that says a lot as I am a big foodie. The chips were Lovley and crispy and lots of them and the team behind the counter were friendly. I live in London and I will drive 45 minutes to have this again 😀

Can not fault normally. Rang ahead and the food was 99% ready when I arrived, a large chips is enough for the nothing of us. Normally it's 5 stars but for some reason the fish was watery. Will still return again

Sorry guys, must have bad luck, the fish was nice but batter very thick and heavy The chips were awful, soggy and overcooked or old ones that were recooked. My son's sausage in batter was inedible. I can see good reviews though, so we must have just been unlucky.

Lovely fish and chips here. Service can be slow now due to advance orders or Deliveroo or similar. New management, now miminal staffing and mostly cooked to order can cause a longer wait.

The fish and chips are amazing. Large Cod means LARGE. I don't usually eat the batter. I don't like it. But at dolphins it's so crispy. I love it.

should have done this review a long time ago,this is a great fish & chip shop that is always top quality.recently added a vast bigger menu of food items,many chicken options that are first class.the guys in the shop are first rate and very polite.

Epic chips, epic fish, epic lads

Popped in as my regular F&C shop closed for holidays. Very nice staff, reasonable priced, but maybe because they were busy and lots of frying going on, batter on fish was little on soggy side, maybe temperature needs to be higher or cooked a little longer. OK but will still be using my regular shop

The food is very good. You won’t be disappointed. Don’t ask for bread rolls though as you may be ignored and rudely spoken too.

Great food, however no effort made by owners or staff in asking customers to wear face masks, especially that we are now in Tier-4 of Covid.

I have lived in the area just over a year and tried several of the fish bars this one is by far the best as long as you dont mind waiting a bit of time for them to cook fish fresh

Very long wait in shop for a sausage and chips, chips were very bland, sausage was good.

Had Rock Salmon and Cod Row with chips Delivered this evening it was horrible both meals were Luke warm and dried up

I came across this fish bar during my long distance walk as part of my once a day exercise guideline setout by the government amid of Covid-19. The chips are simply amazing each time I go there and I have been going there weekly for the since the lockdown started. I highly recommend this fish bar & the prices are pretty reasonable too!

Clean shop, friendly staff, value for money, good portion sizes so much I only need to buy small portion to share with partner. Fish is delicious and fresh. Nothing to complain about. Tried other chippys and good chippys are hard to find these days and this is number 1 in my book

They overcharged by ten pounds and refused to give the money back saying it was too late to give it back. They are a disgrace and really rude. They didn’t even offer to give the money back..... £19.60 for 2 bags of chips, 1 curry sauce and southern fried chicken and a chicken and mushroom pie. Be very careful if you chose to get a take out from these conning, thieving gits. Please get your take away from some where else. They are dishonest and liars.
