I had come across this small café when previously visiting the next door hospital recently. As I was in London for the day, I decided to give it a try for Breakfast. Unfortunately, it was a wet and rather miserable day, so the outdoor seating, although under cover, was not appealing.
There were a good number of patrons, so I had to wait a while to find somewhere to sit, as indoors there are not too many seats. The staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable and I chose an Omelet with some baked beans as a change from the normal 'Full English'. My coffee arrived promptly, and was extremely hot, so it could wait for my food to be delivered.
The food was good and tasty and very good value. However, if you are wanting a more refined breakfast offering, this is not the place. Having said that, for a plate of freshly cooked food and good coffee, there was no reason to complain. There were no issues with cleanliness either, although moving around inside when it was full was a bit of a challenge!
I think that the number of customers was indicative of the overall quality of the establishment and I will certainly be back, next time I am in town.
By far our favourite Italian restaurant in London. Genuine products, fast and high quality service, great portions and guartandeed smiles. Best pizzas we tried so far (and we are Italians :) Our young daughter looks forward to our lunch there every Saturday. Especially when she’s treated with a heart shaped pizza just for her. Beautiful and delicious! While my husband always orders pizza Trentina, I tend to enjoy the weekly fish which comes from a local market and is always fresh and paired with lovely veggies. Thank you to all the Amisha staff for bringing a piece of Italy in London, we feel closer to our home!
Stale food - sandwiches and pastry/cakes sitting there for days with condensation buildup within the packets
Sandwich cannot even be warmed up- equipment not working
Food quality really bad- food poisoning risk
So so over priced- £3.15 for a tea!!
Staff and patients deserve better than this- it is the only option available at weekends and evenings
Some servers can be so rude
Impossible to get a sit down space
Best pizza I’ve had in London that didn’t cost a small fortune. We had notorious pig, the honey with the spice was bang on and the garlic dip was an excellent level of creamy without feeling either too healthy or too domino’s heartattack!

This is a charming little find for foodies! A tasty mixture of food and pastry stalls from all over the world. It's never been as important as now to support independents!
Great atmosphere - even has a few cosy little bars/pubs on the street to relax in too.
Located a short 10 minute walk from London Bridge station - it's easy to get to. Highly recommend 👌

I don’t usually dwell on poor service, but this experience left a particularly bitter taste.
We arrived at 8:12 PM and were immediately met with pressure from the waiter, who told us the kitchen would be closing in 20 minutes.
From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed—not only with our food order but also when choosing wine. The tone was abrupt, and the atmosphere felt more like a last-minute pit stop than a welcoming dining experience.
In hindsight, we should have left right then, as it was clear from the outset that we weren’t being treated with basic hospitality.
Feeling cornered, we hastily ordered three dishes and a bottle of wine just to avoid missing out. But what followed only added insult to injury.
At 9 PM, four more guests arrived and were allowed to order freely without any mention of time constraints.
When we challenged the waiter about the discrepancy, he denied saying the kitchen was closing in 20 minutes and even falsely claimed we had arrived at 8:30 PM. Only when he checked the system—which clearly showed 8:12 PM—did the timeline become undeniable. Yet even then, he continued to deny ever pressuring us, despite there being three of us who heard him say it clearly.
It was deeply frustrating to be rushed, gaslit, and then dismissed, especially when it became clear that the kitchen was never in danger of closing.
We felt manipulated into ordering quickly for no reason at all.
Fried Baby Squid (£17.00): Lightly battered but visually unappealing—almost blackened.
Grilled Mackerel (£13.00): Well cooked, with a salty sauce and pickled radishes.
Pentolaccia Scoglio: A rich and satisfying seafood pasta; easily the standout dish.
Decent quality and reasonably priced, though we barely had a moment to consider the options.
Despite the good food, the lack of welcome, dishonesty from staff, and unnecessary pressure ruined the evening.
We felt uncomfortable from the moment we arrived and were treated with a complete disregard for the customer experience.
I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this restaurant.
I dived into a robust sourdough loaf with whipped herb noisette, before sharing a salad of courgettes and whipped (there’s a lot of it about) ricotta, sage and rocket salsa verde – so densely green you could almost feel the chlorophyll – and a fabulously satisfying grilled radicchio with broad bean purée and pickled Tropea onions (a super-sweet variety from Calabria)
headed downstairs to this bar after our meal at flour & grape, also so others who were waiting for their table grabbing a drink during the wait. on the small side but most people don’t stay for too long. the fruity spritz is lovely and would recommend. also the menu had some fun options and great for those who love gin as they have a lot to offer for gin options.
