Little Bird Gin in Southwark

Cuatro de nosotros tomamos una bebida agradable en el atmosférico Little Bird, ubicado en medio del mercado de Bermondsey's Maltby Street en una bulliciosa tarde de sábado, a pesar de Corona. Disfrutamos Bloody Marys y cervezas y probaremos Gin de Little Bird la próxima vez que visitemos.

El personal es muy amable y acogedor, excelentes bebidas y precios razonables. Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que esté en la zona.

¡Fantastico lugar! Tropecé con este magnífico bar después de ser enviado en su dirección general como "el área" a donde dirigirse. No podría haber sido más perfecto. Nos encantó todo lo que tenía para ofrecer. El servicio fue atento, glorioso e ineludible; los cócteles eran interesantes, deliciosos y de valor excepcional; y todo el ambiente era simplemente perfecto. Definitivamente vale la pena cualquier desvío.

Simplemente el mejor Bloody Mary que he experimentado y me encanta el ambiente callejero de los asientos al aire libre. Gran servicio, pero es la bebida que permanecerá en la memoria. Es tan bueno

Good negroni, good G&T, buen ambiente retro destartalado. Buen precio.  Bien vale la pena el desvío. Vengo aquí regularmente.

Stumbled upon this place while heading to our Gin Tasting down the road. We have half hour to kill so decided to stop here for a drink. Venue is small, quirky and cosy. Lots of low lighting, lamps, mix-matched furniture but it went really well together. Guy serving was really friendly and happy to offer advice in what drinks to chose. Menu was quirky with various cocktails, mainly Gin based. We decided just to opt for a Classic G&T. Service was fast and the drinks were really tasty. Drinks were reasonably priced and in a great location. The Guy behind the bar told us that a massive food market kicks off every weekend so we will return!

Great little bar with tasty gin cocktails. Very cosy atmosphere and helpful staff. Bar is set in the arches of the railway and has great decor with blankets should you get cold! All in all a great find!

Visiting Maltby Street Christmas Friday night markets. Dropped by for a drink. Superb gin based drink with Jalepino. Great friendly service. Lots of wonderful eats at the many stalls. If you are nearby do not miss.

Cool place, a bit run down in a good way and they make delicious gin base cocktails, you can grab food from other stalls and just enjoy the gin here

I visited here last night and it is so lovely! I had walked past many times during the weekend market but had such a nice calm vibe on a Thursday night. Outside seats on the street, so picturesque and rustic. The staff went above and beyond, were so friendly, gave me a crochet blanket when it started to get cold. The cocktails were amazing and reasonable priced for London. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

We have had great experiences when this place feels like a hidden gem but we have also had visits when the attitude and indifference of staff has spoiled the experience.

Visited here yesterday (27/7/18) as it just started to rain, so my wife and I were the only ones in the bar for a while. What a little gem, we will be making it our little secret place to take friends. Gin cocktails were really good (it does serve beer if you want it - but once you start on the cocktails you won't stop!!!) and the staff were brilliant and very friendly, even kindly charging my phone for me. Place is decorated in a rustic style and music playing to a level where not intrusive and songs I like. They even asked us to try a new cocktail they were working on. One thing I would like to see there would be some nibbles such as nuts or crisps, just to snack with their drinks, maybe a cheese and charcuterie board, but that's just me being a foodie !!! Big thank you to the staff , can't wait for our next visit.

First visit here though I had tasted their gin before. In an arch, in the middle of a busy food market this is my new favourite place! Inside reminded me of an old tavern with is wood cladding. My friends and I managed to get a table just inside the door and later moved outside. It's very relaxed with a friendly vibe, great staff and cool music. Yesterday they had a special cocktail menu dedicated to the Roysl wedding which was fun. Between us (7) we tried them all. Some came in jam jars, some in fancy glasses. All absolutely delicious!!! Then as evening approached, so did a new cocktail menu so we tried all those as well!! I will definitely be going back again and again and again! Next time I want to buy a bottle of their super cool gin (they'd run out of bottles to sell). Perfect excuse to go back soon!

Maybe you had a wonderful meal at 40Maltby - in the same street -, passing and noticing this beguiling - in the good sense - bar on the way. Do stop. Do indulge now. You'll love it. Thank this little bird, provider of cocktails, drink the names, greet the ladies of the place : motherly, inventive, crazy, amazing.

Hemos estado aquí dos veces y nos encanta. Situado en el mercado de trenes maltby bajo los arcos. El g&ts; son buenos, también los cócteles de Ginebra a un precio razonable para Londres. El personal es muy bueno. Es peculiar dentro y acogedor. Usted puede comprar comida en los puestos de la calle y comer aquí con su bebida. Nos hubiera gustado que vivimos más cerca ya que visita la mayoría de los fines de semana. Sin embargo, no se!

Mystiskt, jättekul, rogivande ställe. Här brukar vi stanna på en lunchdrink varje gång vi är ilondon. Så även denna gång och vi har aldrig blivit besvikna. Trevlig personal -goda drinkar och mycket prisvärt!

Very good Gin and a good range of cocktails using it. Feels like a cosy hide away in a lively market street.

Located in the heart of Maltby street market, this place serves up great gin cocktails and the best G&T; I have had in London, all reasonably priced at £5. Sit outside and just enjoy the day past by!

Con Calle maltby en mi puerta, qué mejor manera de empezar el fin de semana con la familia política, a través del mercado con todos los vendedores de comida y parando en esta pequeña joya y tener casa cócteles gin hizo para el desayuno tiene que ser uno de los mejores cosas que hacer.

Lovely gin and tonic to take away while walking around that area! I would also recommend negroni that they do there! It's lovely!

Gran bebidas a precios muy razonables. Si no tienes tiempo para sentarse por un G&T-prueba; el perfecto G&T; con pomelo bebida pequeño pájaro ofrece tazas de comida para llevar. El servicio era muy bueno durante nuestra visita

Personalmente no bebo ginebra, pero mis amigos no y Gin pequeño pájaro es su favorito. Siempre estoy dispuesto a conocer amigos aquí, a pesar de que no les gusta la ginebra, ya que el ambiente es precioso y no suelen tener la bebida sin alcohol cóctel, que es muy sabrosa.

Nos topamos con este como un accidente feliz. Creo que teníamos el Pink Flamingo - pomelo, fresa gin! En un lindo para llevar taza! La bebida es deliciosa y me encanta la paja. Si eres un amante de la ginebra es sin duda uno de salida! ¡Me encantó!

Disfruta de sol y pasear por este lugar, descubrimos un ambiente encantador, pero lo más destacado era personal mi ginebra para llevar muy refrescante y me encantó la idea de pomelo en vez de la típica de limón. Sin duda volveremos aunque sólo de paso.

Lovely place for a g&t! Served with a huge, thick slice of grapefruit and their own gin, which is delicious! Service was quick and the drink was only £5, so very cheap for London.

Amazing small gin bar, serving various gin cocktails at the weekend. Service is quick and you eat your breakfast, purchased at one of the other market stalls and have a funky gin. At £5.00 a pop good value too !

Nice little venue under one of the arches with outside seating available also. The staff are extremely friendly and you can bring food in from outside. The cocktails were great in particular the Bloody Mary...nice and spicy with the horseradish. Also had the G&T as well as the Rhubarb Fizz both very refreshing!

Great place for a brunch drink. Friendly service and at between 5 and 7 pounds, still good value for money.

Freundliches Personal, feine Location. Haben uns vom Foodstall nebenan leckere Lammwraps geholt und eine entspannte Stunde in der Sonne genossen.

G&Ts are served with a big slice of grapefruit. So delicious! This is a great spot in summer if you get an outdoor spot, but equally good inside in colder weather.

We got a seat outside on a lovely sunny Saturday. We had Red Snapper the house Bloody Mary, pink grapefruit G &Ts, alcoholic Iced Tea. All lovely and very reasonably priced. Great to sit and watch the world pass by and if you are peckish it's perfectly acceptable to eat your own food from the adjacent restaurants and food carts.

Beautiful Day! Great service and delicious drinks. Very reasonable and the drinks were so good! Very refreshing and you could taste all the ingredients in the drinks aside from just Gin.

Trendy little gin bar amongst a trendy foodie market on Rope Walk. Little Bird gin is served in jam jars with slices of pink grapefruit - really quirky and absolutely delicious, though incredibly busy... we waited ages for a seat!

The G&Ts are clean, crisp yet flavorful, garnished with grapefruit. The Bloody Mary was spicy, savory and had a good kick!

On our previous visit the sun was shining and there wasn't a seat to be had, and even with slight drizzle in the air Little Bird Gin was pretty packed. Desperate to try their version of a Bloody Mary/Red Snapper we decided to hover around for a while until seats became vacant. Almost ten minutes later two did and we were in! My husband ordered the Perfect G&T and I went for the Bloody Mary. WOW! I tried the G&T first and the addition of a slice of pink grapefruit enlivened the aromatics in the gin and brought out its subtleties. Then I tried the Bloody Mary. Oh my GOODNESS!! Subtle it was not! It was topped with grated fresh horseradish which was liberally mixed through the gin, tomato juice and other secret ingredients and it provided a pep to my step - it was wonderful! The bonus of their location is that they are in Maltby Street Market so if you're peckish you can pop along to one of the other outlets and grab some food and eat it there, but be kind and don't make a mess!Off to order my bottle now, and I look forward to our next visit - we'll have one there and then get another to takeaway!
