The best restaurants in Merton London

Second visit here and absolutely Love the place. Was seeing a show at Wimbledon theatre so ate delicious prawns then a incredible steak. Then after the show finished popped back for dessert. Honestly the food is amazing and the owners are so friendly and attentive. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and I actually think their fillet is better than Gouchos! Thanks for another lovely evening. Can't wait to return again soon! Stephanie

I recently visited Kokoro and, unfortunately, my experience with the food was disappointing. The rice was hard and seemed undercooked, which made it difficult to enjoy. The chicken was also not up to standard – it lacked flavour and didn't taste fresh. I expected better quality from a place like Kokoro, especially given its reputation. I hope they can improve on this in the future.

I had ordered through phone, they had said to come for collection in 20 minutes. I went around 25 minutes food was still not done, waited extra 15 minutes for a takeaway parcel. Order was not too big a briyani samosa and veg rolls.

Not been here but I would expect a discount being a Wingfield myself. I see some Wingfield favourites have been included on the review pictures. Can't wait to visit sometime in the future

Any time I'm in this post code I'm straight in this shop. Absolutely excellent food!!!!

Recommended by locals as a must go Indian restaurant in the area, and I wasn't disappointed. Authentic Indian cuisine, great atmosphere, friendly service. Also found out, they offer a Sunday deal for £11.95. So I will return again.

Ordered a delivery through UberEats. We only received one part of the order. As the delivery driver was only given part of the order from the restaurant. Then we were told by Olive Garden that they couldn’t deliver the remaining order. So after driving to pick it up the food was not up to their normal standard. Really not happy!! The carbonara was very watery and didn’t taste as good as normal. It was also cold. Olive garden blamed uber eats but they could only deliver what they had been given which was only half the order. And all the olive garden could say for their bad service was sorry. This is so disappointing!!

We went to the Casuarina Tree restaurant. It was a nice place. Their food was amazing and very tasty. Rithma and Avishka served us. They were very friendly with us. Their service was excellent.

We ordered takeaway away. We ordered the spicy squid, the Bang Bang Chicken (half fried half glazed) and the meat dumplings. I'm sorry to say but they all taste not fresh... Especially the fried chicken it was very soggy and it is very oily. It didn't taste fresh. I will try not to order from this restaurant. I hope the restaurant will work on the food quality.

used to he regular, now they've priced me out, what I bought for £30 now costs over £40. the food was good but not THAT good. it's goodbye from me

We were served by Yaneena, who was just incredible. She was attentive and diligent and ensured the meal went off without a hitch. It was a celebratory meal for my mums 60th birthday and Yaneena made it feel extra special. She was perfect and there was absolutely no room for improvement for her. Unfortunately, towards the end of the meal a manager (possibly called Jamie? Or Jason?) shouted at her which resulted in her becoming upset. It is totally unacceptable to shout at colleagues and I sincerely hope this is addressed and that communication training is delivered to management.
