Great choice to please a group, as there’s the classic Italian menu with lots of pizza and pasta options - always popular with the kids especially. Thai menu is also available from linked restaurant next door, which is 1st class and provides a lot of variety for others wanting something different.

Have not tried the food but it looks nice

Ordered a delivery through UberEats. We only received one part of the order. As the delivery driver was only given part of the order from the restaurant. Then we were told by Olive Garden that they couldn’t deliver the remaining order. So after driving to pick it up the food was not up to their normal standard. Really not happy!! The carbonara was very watery and didn’t taste as good as normal. It was also cold. Olive garden blamed uber eats but they could only deliver what they had been given which was only half the order. And all the olive garden could say for their bad service was sorry. This is so disappointing!!

Such an amazing restaurant visited after a long time in the town. A relaxed place to enjoy your time.

We were staying in the area for one night and were new to this area & walked in as looked nice from the outside. Lovely friendly staff, great service & ambience. We had starters & pizzas. Lovely small owner run Italian restaurant which also serves Thai food. I stuck to the Italian menu and had a really nice dinner. Service is a bit slow, but that's just a minor gripe.

I just had the most amazing slice of pizza. I’m talking authentic Italian quality - freshly baked. Crispy thing. And the most decadent melt in mouth cheese. Only issue was the topping was from a plastic container so didn’t fill as fresh but it tastes absolutely DELISH. We also had some ice cream which was pretty good. Very nice quality location on a lovely street which was peaceful and relaxing. Best part was the very patient and personable service. The Eritrean lady & gentleman who served us were kind, friendly & attentive. Will definitely be back - highly recommend!

Nice place and people, tasty food !

I had never tried this restaurant despite living in the area for years. We finally booked a table for a Friday evening. I had booked a special deal by calling the day before, a member of staff had assured me that it would be ok for Fridays. The manager, despite having my booking and details written in biro on an actual diary, stated that she did not believe I had spoken to a member of staff about this and was not prepared to honor the deal. She maintained I was making the conversation up and got louder and louder in front of other diners. Obviously we left immediately without looking at the menu. I am not at all annoyed about not getting a special deal but the fact of being accused of being a liar to get a discount on a plate of pasta. I cannot comment on the quality of the food.

I cannot comment on the food itself. The manager was so abrupt and rude to us that we left 5 minutes after we arrived. When in Raynes Park we normally eat at the the fantastic Hatay ( Turkish). We fancied a change but went back there immediately and had a fantastic meal and brilliant service.

A quiet little place in Raynes Park. We came here for dinner one week night and shared a pizza and a pasta. The bolognese was lovely- a flavoursome and rich ragu. The pizza (we had the saporito) had a crispy base and lots of toppings. The house red wine was good too. Our waitress, Katerina, was really welcoming and attentive. It doesn’t have a great atmosphere, but for a weekday meal when you can’t be bothered to cook, it’s a great choice! The meal was well priced with the bill coming to £36 for both of us. Also, we were shocked to see that they serve the Thai food from next door here too. It isn’t well advertised but they have an enormous selection of Thai food too! The table next to us were enjoying a real mixture of the Italian and Thai food so if you have a big group with different dinner requirements/tastes this is the place to go.

I went on a dinner date here a couple of weeks ago and had a fantastic time — the waitress attending us, a teenage girl, was especially kind and helpful and immensely contributed to our excellent experience here. Highly recommend!!!

I don’t like put bed reviews but if you had couple that means you need to analyse. So we’ve been couple months ago and we invited our friend for dinner, and we was disappointed. We ordered calamari, two types of pasta, risotto and one pizza. Calamari was hard, definitely overcooked, pasta nothing special, and pizza definitely not top 10. I’m sorry(

Excellent food- lovely atmosphere . Lots of choice on the menu and cater for gluten free - pasta was delicious. Teenagers loved the pizza and burger options Fantastic device from the staff- will definitely return

Unfortunately, this place falls short. The food lacks authenticity and is mediocre. Additionally, the decor, ambiance, and customer service are lacking.

Me and my partner went to the Olive Garden last night after a trip up from Southampton and thought we'd give it a go following some nice reviews left by other customers. We were greeted by a well presented young lady who was friendly. Coke and a milkshake which was purely milk and just some flavoring as oppose to a think creamy shake for £5. Ordered a buttermilk chicken burger and a peri peri chicken burger and to say we were disappointed was genuine. We'd have been better off eating in a weatherspoons or local Green King pub. We were hoping the cheesy garlic bread we had oredered (which was ordered as a starter) would have redeemed the meal, but the young lady forgot it, twice. Asked if we still wanted it once we had finished our meal, so we just asked for the bill instead. £35 poorer and disappointed on our first evening out on London. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone personally, but friendly people were the only highlight.

Sadly, this was not a good experience. On a quiet Sunday evening we went for a meal. Having enjoyed a shared starter of calamari, my partner then enjoyed their vegetarian risotto; I had ordered Sea Bass with roast potatoes and steamed spinach. When my meal arrived it looked fine, until with my first cut, I cut into a potato that contained the corpse of a previous resident! Needless to say this rather put me off my meal. I alerted the lovely waitress who immediately took it away. I said I'd rather not have anything else. When the bill came, we were at first expected to pay for everything ordered, at which point I refused to pay for the meal I had not even tasted. The bill was amended and we left. My complaint is that at no time did anyone from the management appear to apologise. Appalling service! Lovely waitress, appalling service.

Really nice Italian food from a local restaurant. Fresh food, risotto is great.

I visited The Olive Garden for a last-minute dinner with friends. The restaurant had a cute and simple design with outdoor seating. I couldn't get any of the meat dishes, but there was a good variety of vegetarian and sea food options on the menu. The pizza was honestly the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. My friend who got the spaghetti bolonaise, which came with a generous helping of cheese, really enjoyed that too. Overall, we had a pleasant experience here and will definitely recommend it to others. Only negetive is that it was a little difficult to get the waiters' attention as there were only two of them working. But they were very friendly and accommodating.

It has been a long time since we have been to this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. The wine was very reasonable and the food was delicious. They have changed their menu and now serve some Thai food. Plus they have their specials as well. In fact there is a Thai restaurant that appears to be attached to the Olive. I had Corncakes for starters my husband had Bruschetta. I had Penne Arrabbiata with Chicken which nice. My husband had a flat iron Steak which came out sizzling. We shall definitely be going back there.

Updated 5th August 2023 This family run Italian restaurant is a big hit with the local community and by passing visitors alike. Its one of THE places to be seen for lunch where I would advise a reservation at weekends as its busy A warm welcome sets the mood for a relaxed atmosphere to unwind for the odd hour or two. with friends or alone Seating capacity is for 48 customers when full so best get there early to avoid disappointment. Choose their set menu or go for house, Sea food dishes a must. And do look at the daily board above the bar for off menu options. The Olive Garden has been around for some 12 years thou there has been a restaurant here as far back as I can recall and that is some 35 year's Long may it continue.

The service was ok but the food was really bad. I took the steak for dinner and I have severe stomach pain. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone

Used to be good but both food quality and service is gone. Our food took more than 45 minutes to arrive, restaurant less than half full, and then the pasta portions were like kid size and was not well cooked and only tasted salty. Eaten here during many years but do not think Ill be back again service is very slow and food quality is gone.

Every Italian restaurant should have character, with charming service. It's not just good food..... service makes it an experience to remember. Just not the case here; no attentive service, sadly no attention to customer needs. Staff weren't rude or anything, it just had a soulless atmosphere. Where's your heart Olive Garden? Certainly not in Italy!

The food was tasty but not authentic Italian. The garlic bread is more of a garlic naan. The pasta was tasty but more of a fusion.

Food was tasty; however service needs to improve. We ordered Risotto Primavera and they got us Penne Primavera. Since we had waited so long and quite hungry we compromised with it. The guy who took our order did not even apologize for the mix up. Also had to pay 12.5% as service charges which shouldn't have applied to us considering they goofed up our order!

Called in tonight for a takeaway. Ordered a Margherita pizza & garlic bread. After nearly 30 mins wait we checked how much longer it would be & was told about 10 mins. We were then handed two boxes which had been sitting behind the bar for about 15 minutes. When we complained we were told by a member of staff that it wasn’t her fault. Got home to cold pizza. Absolutely dreadful service.

Ordered online for kid’s party to found out they don’t do pizzas that day, while their online app allows booking, resulting in delayed pizzas from a different source. It’s great that you are multi-channel but please manage it appropriately because I have a really bad taste now from buying from you.

We ordered 2 dishes and it took over an 1hr for the dishes to arrive. No apology or any explanation. :(

Went on 6/5/2023 with my daughter and grandson..my daughter and I ordered the Chicken with basil and tomatoe sauce with Roasted potatoes..the sauce was watery and had No flavour the Roast Potatoes were the frozen ones you get from supermarket..My grandsons Spag Bol was ok..but what they charge the potions was very small..would not go here again

Pleasant atmosphere & reasonable food. Was shocked, however, when a waitress came over at 8.40 p.m. to tell us that they were closing - in other words, hurry up! We gulped our wine & left. Thought it was rather early to close on a Sunday evening, so checked the website later & apparently they close at 9 p.m. Nevertheless, we still had 20 minutes to finish our wine, whereas we felt as if we had overstayed & were being thrown out.

if i could give no star i would, my table ordered a carbonara and when we were eating we found a long strand of hair ingrained into 4 pieces of pasta that when u held it up the pieces of pasta would hang from this strand of hair, extremely revolting, told the waitress and they offered to bring a new bowl out, the female chef came out and delivered it to us personally (no hair net and was in a pony tail) however it was only after we realized that this dish had been put in the microwave since the plate was hot and the carbonara did not look fresh having supposedly been made a few minutes before (we knew the plate was microwaved since it was a massive bowl and the rim of it was hot even though the pasta was no where near it and it didn’t take long for it to come out), when paying for the food they didn’t offer a discount or apologies and yet still added a 12% service charge fee, we took no photos since we didn’t think we would be writing a review after and still find it shocking how they still included it in the receipt

It's a local I love. The food is great. Prices fair. And a cosy atmosphere. Just great.

The experience on a Sunday lunch was disappointing it took half an hour to get the drinks delivered to our table. At this point we were the 2nd table in the restaurant at the time. The service was very poor. The waitress had a bad attitude and couldn't more unhelpful if she tried. The waitress insisted on taking the orders of the people who had then entered the restaurant before she would bring our drinks. Leaving the 4 year old without his chocolate milkshake while the rest of the table had their drinks. Disappointing experience.

Just literally returned from this restaurant very angry. I sat down at a table as no-one greeted me straight away - no problem, however it then took an uncomfortable amount of time for the small rude lady with black hair to come up to me and not apologise for not seeing me or even greet me, she simply said in a curt way, 'how many' ? 'Er oh just myself' I replied. Service improved a little during service until the end when I asked for the bill, an uncomfortable time passed before I had to ask again and they weren't particularly busy. She came round with the bill which had the discretionary 12.5 % service on it - why I paid this I don't know I should have told her to remove it as she certainly did not deserve a tip. She then took payment (the rude little lady with black hair' and check this out - simply walked off - no thank you, goodbye or anything. I won't be returning of course.

Lately prices have increased. No good value for money.

Cafè 46 and The Olive Garden are run by the same people. During the day Cafè 46 is open and in the evening it's The Olive Garden. I love going there, even though I no longer live in the area. I am able to get some work done while having a good lunch or simply a cup of tea. Today I had a quiche and salad for lunch. It was really good. The quiche had lamb in it. I love lamb. Good healthy meal with a great cup of coffee - cappuccino of course. And I absolutely love the idea that the salad comes in a little fire bucket.

Fabulous Italian restaurant. Recommended to book in advance as it is not too big. Food is superb, very attentive staff. I tried the Gamberonni al aglio for starters and the chicken milanesse and an affogatto for dessert. All 3 choices were perfect.

Pretty average food, service and atmosphere. They need to up their game. Other restaurants in Raynes Park are better and no surprise they are always busier. Been there a few times and this was a last chance but not again.

This place is hundreds great service. The nice thing is that the mirror at the front of the bar makes my forearms look huge. And the shakes are lekker.

Visited here Sept '22. Very basic in the evenings for dinner. Food ok, service ok'ish. Atmosphere non-existent .... clanky room of wooden furniture and no music. I'd probably go back as Raynes Park isn't blessed with eateries, but this isn't a special place. My advice would be do not book here for a romantic meal or an anniversary.

Friendly service, very nice food and reasonable price

Service and food were superb. Ordered 2 pizzas, meatballs and a garlic bread and everything tasted great. Better than any chain pizza you can get. Highly recommended and will be a regular go to in the future

Great food, great service, delicious pizza. But be warned! We asked if the service charge goes to the staff, and they confirmed it doesn’t. It goes to the owners. I had to ask for it to be removed so I could tip the servers directly. It really is misleading to put a service charge on that will be further lining the pockets of the owners. It is not there to supplement the wage you should be paying from your profits. It’s supposed to be there to thank the wait staff who have to deal with an increasingly difficult public, while earning the least hourly rate in the business. This service charge will be affecting the tips they receive, it’s essentially a theft. Please amend this policy.

The pizza was delicious, but the food that I didn't order came out and I protested, but when I protested because it was included in the bill, the expression on my face that I already knew the meaning. Not even 1 star is worth it.

So disappointed. I've eaten here several times and was looking forward to going again tonight. Staff were lovely, the layout is comfortable, the prices are fine, but the Penne Amatriciana was void of any chicken and drowned in pasta. I suppose it's the cheapest method of offering this dish. Except if you lose custom over it of course, which they did tonight

Terrible customer service I love The Oliver, but the attendants at Raynes Park are terrible, always sulky and stupid customer service, there is a short woman at pregnant who is the stupidest and not smile. She treated very rude with my kid 8 years old. My friend pass for some situation with this pregnant lady. I dont know the manager keep people not happy to work with public service. Think when u go The Oliver in Raynes Park how they will treat u with stupid.

Superb delivery. The courteous and friendly gentleman made the delivery and the meal was DELICIOUS. The Olive Garden's food - whether in the restaurant or delivered - is always delicious.

Ordered a delivery and the food was wrong. These things happen and we accept that as one of those things...but the attitude from the restaurant was appalling they were not interested and would do nothing to help. No apology, no refund or offer to send correct food.. Left us feeling hugely frustrated and disappointed. Not cheap either which makes it sting even more!

Food absolutely fantastic, staff attitude, terrible, especially when you see them rolling there eyes just for asking for two spoons to share a starter, spent well over £200 on Thursday evening, also couldn't get another drink past 10 o'clock as they said they we're closing but they were still sitting people down.

Unfortunately one of the dishes was completely incorrect (carbonara instead of amariciana) and when I called the restaurant was told to contact Just Eat which I did. They did not respond to Just Eat despite being open. My friend was unable to eat her meal as she is dairy intolerant. Mushrooms were also supposed to be added to the chicken dish and they weren't. Very disappointed

Highly recommended for food, service and price. At £17 for 2 courses (£20 for 3) this deal is great value for well cooked food with a large variety of vegetables and generous helpings - we could not manage a third course, although tempted. Reasonable choice of first & main courses for a set meal. Cannot understand why they do not quote the price on the board outside - it compares very favourably with others in the area. HINT. Sign up for their mailing list and get a hefty 25% off the cost of food provided you visit within 7 days. We were a party on two but had different dishes.

Great local restaurant. Tasty food, good proportion and reasonably priced. I changed Penne to Spaghetti for Carbonara and my friends ordered Seafood Spaghetti which normally comes in tomato sauce but they asked for cream sauce instead. They all impressed with the cream sauce - smell of white wine in the sauce was superb! Carbonara was average - it would be nicer to taste the more of thick egg york .

Been here many times. Limited menu but most items well executed. Pricing is reasonable. Decent pizzas+pastries. They now have outdoor seating , which is ideal for mums with babes.. Park at council carpark by Waitrose, £0.30p only for 1.5hrs. Great for shoppers wanting a quick bite and some caffeine

I love this restaurant love their food was a bit disappointed that I got garlic bread with cheese on as I dont like cheese and it doesnt say it comes with cheese and it's never come with cheese before sp that was a waste of £4.95 but if you like cheese you'll love it. Usually I have pizza here as the dought is delicious but today I ordered Penne Amatriciana. The pasta was coocked al dente and the sauce was creamy and aromatic. For starter I had Melanzane Parmigiana which was very tasty. The service here is outstanding and all Staff members are friendly and helpful. The only thing missing was the Italian music which used to be a nice addition to the atmosphere in this place but for some reason it's not been playing this time. I can recommend this place for anyone who is looking for an authentic Italian cuisine and want to dine in a nice, relaxing atmosphere.

We have been here a few times and the food is always excellent. Prices are fine, pizzas and pastas are amazing. However, the best of all is tiramisu dessert. The staff members are always helpfull and very kind.

Having eaten here on a couple of occasions in the past, the family decided to enjoy a takeaway delivery which was easy to input on the website with a vast selection of choices. Upon completion a notification suggested a 45minute wait but our food was with us within 30. Brilliant service, tasty food.
