The best restaurants in Lewisham London

I have been to a fair few restaurants in my time but I was utterly blown away by this place. The food. The atmosphere and the service you could not fault. My girlfriend and I went all out and got the grande set menu and we didn’t regret it. Some people have mentioned the price is steep but when you can BYOB and get as many refills as you want AND take what you can’t finish home it really is very well priced for such great quality food. What can normally fall short where there is great food…is the service and atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed, well informed and the whole experience allowed us to engage with the staff like we had known them for ages. The mighty duo were the wonderful Cassidy and Alanah. They were attentive, they made us hungry, they made us laugh they simply were the best front of house staff I have ever experienced in a restaurant. The whole experience was so special I went back a week later with my brother and sister who also could not stop praising the wonderful experience they had. So it’s proof that this was not a one off experience. So if you haven’t been. Go! NOTE. Try and save space for the Mango Sorbet and their own Amrutha Tea to wash it all down with. A massive thank you to everyone at Amrutha Honor Oak including the chefs outback making such tasty dishes!

After walking past Sim's several times, we finally 'took the plunge' and went in - we are so happy we did. Amazing steaks, great value - even if the decor is a little dated, it's still a great meal and saves you having to go intro central London and pay double

This really is an excellent place for brunch or lunch in Deptford. Although you may have to wait for a table it’s worth it. The staff are charming and helpful. My one small gripe would be that the food could have been hotter- the consequence of trying to do a lot of covers from a small kitchen I think. None the less a standout place.

Love this venue. Went to an LGBTQI BFI event and can say this place is amazing. Cafes, bars, screening rooms, seminar rooms and a red carpet as well. The location is perfect for a walk along the Thames afterwards.

Love to visit this cafe when I’m in the area visiting my family. Great food and drink at very reasonable prices in a relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff who always make a fuss of my grandaughter. A real community gem.

I've walked past this restaurant many times but not actualy gone in untill the other night with friends, good food and the ambience very pleasant and staff very attentive will visit again once a month for a nice meal probably the best restaurant in catford 5*

Hay una gran variedad de comidas y bebidas, y el servicio es personal y amable. ¿Que es no gustar?

Really great Nepalese food, I had chilli momo and paneer tikka, really great flavours… but the garlic naan! Never seen a naan look so beautiful, and taste so good!

We ordered a date night bundle from Peppeckish and Giuseppe delivered it to us. It was so tasty, the portions were very generous (we have leftovers!) and the ingredients were of a high quality. We’ll definitely be ordering again and would highly recommend Peppeckish. Thank you Giuseppe and Sindy!

La comida era de cinco estrellas y toda la experiencia fue increíble. Si te gusta la buena comida, un ambiente peculiar no te decepcionará.

¡Este es el mejor pub de Londres, manos abajo! La casera, Becks y su familia son solo de calidad, los lugareños más amables y solo un buen rato, alcohol de la vieja escuela. Es una pena que ya no haya muchos pubs como este por aquí, pero al menos tenemos la Siesta General. ¡El karaoke es imprescindible!
