The General Napier in Lewisham

¡Este es el mejor pub de Londres, manos abajo! La casera, Becks y su familia son solo de calidad, los lugareños más amables y solo un buen rato, alcohol de la vieja escuela. Es una pena que ya no haya muchos pubs como este por aquí, pero al menos tenemos la Siesta General. ¡El karaoke es imprescindible!

Fuimos a un asado de domingo hoy y fue increíble, el mejor asado que he tenido tal vez nunca! Yo tenía carne de res, también tuvimos vientre de cerdo y verduras Wellington todo delicioso, asados increíbles y personal encantador

What a lovely friendly pub! We held our dads wake here on the 1st December and we couldn’t have asked for a better send off for Dad. I was mainly in contact with Becks who was great in getting everything organised but to be honest the whole team here are fantastic, it brought comfort to my mum knowing nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so welcome. We had a buffet which was very reasonable and the food was amazing. The locals are lovely and made a point of chatting to us and wishing us all well. I can’t thank the General Napier enough for everything they did for us, everyone that attend the wake commented on what a lovely friendly local it is and how you don’t get many pubs like this anymore. Kids are also welcome here, we had around 5 kids with us and they even provided bubbles for the kids to do outside. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly be returning.

A loose end so popped in the General Napier for a Sunday Roast. We had the port belly as it’s not something I generally cook at home and it was first class. Everything was cooked to perfection, just like good home cooked food. We’ll be back soon to try the chicken and beef !

Totally refurbished community pub Great atmosphere with lots of different things coming up to keep young and older people happy Menu looks really good. can't wait to return to try it Board Games books and darts board nice touch too Thank you for making us all so welcome see you again soon

Like a breath of fresh air in our neighbourhood .friendly staff who make you feel so welcome. Quality food at reasonable prices And great selection of alcohol! Including cocktails.. The charity darts match was very entertaining! And apparently karaoke nights are extremely popular which isn't surprising with such lovely accommodating owners can't wait to return thankyou so much

Thanks to all the crew at The General Napier. I frequented The Nap on Sunday with my family, we ordered two Roast Beefs, two Chicken and a Pork Belly. The food was delicious and fresh and we ate every single bit. The roasts came with all the trimmings. For dessert we had a crumble and custard and tiramisu and they to were amazing The service as per usual was spot on. The pub is under new management and I applaud and appreciate them for bringing back a local pub where everyone is made welcome.

what a lovely lil back street local pub, with a friendly atmosphere, also under new family management and a breath of fresh air they are too, plenty of functions and have found my time in their very pleasant. definably a 5star rating.it would have been a 4 if not for the handsome ginger geezer who sits by the bar, so we made it a 5. god bless. from satisfied customer.
