We ordered a coffee drink in, and Layla , apparently the "assistant mamager" wanted to force us to drink the coffees in a paper cups. The taste is horrible and she said she was closing soon!!!! It was 17h10 and they just close at 18h! Time enough to drink a coffee in a cup. I prefered not to drink a coffee instead of that Layla forced us to drink an horrible coffee in a paper cup, transfered afterwards to a cup. I paid all that money for a black water. Never again . The worst Costa Café!!!!AVOID this rubbish and people.

Excelente café, pasteles y comida (el atún derretido es mi ir a, pero tenía su desayuno inglés también, que era muy agradable). Es amigable para niños y perros. El personal es amable y paciente.

Next door , nice little african restaurant amazing food!!

The best sushi place I've ever been to, the kindest lady I've ever met, even showed me a way to have wisabi with soy sauce and made lovely food. On maps, it said it was closed, so I do apologise if you were not open yet since it said 6 pm and it was around 3:40

Sunday 18th Aug '2024: It's been years since I have been in this weatherspoons. I had my usual, fish and chips with curry sauce, but this time I had it with beans instead of peas. Peas is definitely better! Either way it was lovely and recommend this place.

Pensamos en darle una oportunidad al pub, ya que está al lado de la estación, así que perfecto para una parada en boxes antes de llegar en tren a casa. Es precioso por dentro y el menú se veía muy bien. Estábamos en el mercado de la comida hoy, pero sin duda volveremos para probar el almuerzo del domingo!

Great for a healthy food. Just one criticism is they don't use gloves and they touch the till and then touch the food, specifically the prawns. At no point did I see them wash their hands before, after or between. This is a big no no hence only 3 stars.

Hemos estado comiendo en la Casa de la Luz desde que abrió. Todas nuestras tardes ha sido genial. Somos locales y el hecho de que el menú cambie regularmente sin disminuir la alta calidad de la comida servida es extremadamente importante. El personal es amable y el servicio es excelente. Lo recomendaría ampliamente, desde una cena informal para dos a una comida especial de occaison (hemos tenido muchas celebraciones de cumpleaños a lo largo de los años). Uno de los mejores restaurantes de Wimbledon.

I visited here last month and I was impressed with the food I ordered. I ordered a lamb doner and chips. Great food with reasonable prices! Staff are friendly and polite. I would certainly recommend to take home

Customer service: The man on the phone was rude and disinterested in answering questions regarding my dietary requirements even after explaining why I was asking him the questions. I hope they find someone who can communicate effectively with customers or train this individual so they improve as it is off putting for customers. Delivery: Food arrived on time and the delivery person was patient, professional and respectful. Food: There is no doubt that they can cook well. The beef in black bean sauce was lovely. But the vermicelli noodles were ruined as the kitchen crew should have been more careful to make sure everything was cleaned thoroughly. As the picture shows, I got stainless steel scourer in my food, which is not only risky but also careless! It was a waste of money in the end. Luckily I had the black bean sauce. But I hope the customer service and kitchen’s vigilance improves as they are good cooking.

The delivery took so long to come and the app wasn’t being precise on where my delivery is and after said it got delivered which it wasn’t.

No se puede confiar en seguir las instrucciones para los requisitos de alergia, literalmente ignoró la solicitud continua de no poner cebolla en los alimentos. Rebozado de hongos asquerosamente empapados y goteando de grasa, una hamburguesa de pollo era rosa dentro de la otra tenía un tendón largo en el que lamentablemente me encontré al tratar de tomar un bocado y tiré de él como una banda de goma, también pagó £ 8 por una caja de hamburguesas de carne de kebab y patatas fritas. ¡Qué mal, no malgastes tu dinero!

Came to see a brilliant band , but the TV was left on as some guy was watching the darts, kind of ruined the small amount of ambience created by the band... this is not a venue to see a band unfortunately as the staff and managers attitude sucks.. could be amazing with the right management... feels like a naff Weatherspoons , would not recommend... lots of other local music pubs available, give this one a miss unless you just want to sit staring at your pint and watching the telly !

I get lunch here almost every week and most of the time it’s quick, hot and tasty.
