Ordered delivery from here today from just eat. Thought we would give it a try as had 4.3 stars. Worst fish and chips I have ever had. Ordered 2 fish. 1 was basically a fish bone battered. See photos. The fish bone was exposed from the batter so could not have been missed by the shop. I couldn’t believe it. The 2nd didn’t smell fresh and was brown on the underside. Chips cold and hard. Went in the bin and refund claim put in. First and last time we will be ordering from this shop. Avoid!!!

I ordered from Oh My Cod in Catford via Deliveroo. The address is on the Deliveroo account so there can be no confusion about it. Indeed there wasn't because, when I rang the restaurant to ask where my food was, they identified me from the fact that they had my address. After an hour of being told it was on the way and several calls, they told me their rider had delivered it to the wrong house and not even in my road! They did send a replacement order by which time we had waited well over an hour. But the pie was cold, the chips were undercooked and the mushy peas were full of water. When I gave my feedback to Deliveroo, the restaurant replied claiming that I had given them the wrong address. This is a blatant lie. The address was on the receipt for the order and they knew the address when I called them. Ttying to blame us for their screw-up is disgusting. Furthermore they did not comment on the state of the food. I will not go back there even though they used to be so good.

He comido regularmente en o mi bacalao. Cada vez que comí allí, telefoneé unos 10 minutos antes de llegar, así que no tengo que esperar mucho para que cocinen. Sin embargo, últimamente llamo y todavía tengo que esperar 10 minutos completos por mi comida. ¿Cuál es el punto de sonar si no vas a poner mi comida cuando pregunte? Dudo que voy a comer allí de nuevo.

Ordene regularmente pescado y patatas fritas desde aquí. Consistentemente buena calidad y la salsa de curry es rico. Los tiempos de espera para la entrega pueden variar, me imagino debido a lo ocupados que están, pero en general, he comprobado que entregan a tiempo y, a veces, antes de la hora indicada. 'Real' chips también (no congelados). Recomendado.

They said 40 mins delivery, ended up 2 hrs. Rang up after an hr and was told 10 mins. Rang up 30 mins later and was told the driver left the shop 50 mins ago then they hung up. I called back and said cancel the order he said its up to you. 10 mins later the driver turned up with cold food. Never using again.

Local chippy !! Wouldn't go any where else. Shop is clean staff are polite and the food is delicious prices average

ordered a meal through "just eat" and after 20 minutes past the delivery time i called the restaurant to be told "its on its way"!, ten minutes later the meal (now half an hour late) was delivered ,no apologies just" £16 pounds please", on opening the package i found the chips were one solid mass and the fish was dried up and hard, most of this meal ended up in the bin,i suspect they put this somewhere warm mistakenly thinking it was a "pick up" instead of a "delivery", we will never use "just eat" or "oh my cod "ever again !

Had a home delivery - absolutely brilliant. Everyone must try the homemade onion rings. To die for. Will definitely be going back.

had fish and chips for tea last night I must say they were very nice. all cooked fresh we got large fish and small chips served in a box. we will be going back for more or get them delivered lovely

Very nice and very clean. I live near this chippy. Would give 5 stars if they fried fish to order, as sometimes it's a little soggy.

They always look after me well and the food is lovely

Not as good as previous times, fish didn't seem as fresh and wasn't as hot - but perhaps a bad day as has been excellent before - 'proper' traditional chippie.

I visited the Horchurch store to buy a quick meal for my family. I was extremely pleased with my purchase as the Cod was very meaty and covered in a light batter but not excessively like in some other chip shops. The chips were also crispy and cooked to perfection. I also got a Donner Kebab for my husband and he to said it was the best he'd ever ate with the meat being tasty and applied generously, alongside some very fresh salad. I would definitely recommend anyone to visit this restaurant and I was very satisfied.

Thin dry, peices of cod, cold chips and bland turky sticks. nothing to get excited about, didn't live up to the positive reviews we had read, delivery was also half an hour late, though get an email amendment from just eat informing of the delay, that wasn't recieved till ater the meal had arrived.

Waited 2hrs for my order, the fish was like frozen fish.. And chicken was not roast, although they did apologise for lateness, after calling twice and having to give the driver directions to the door. at least the food was hot! won't order from here again.

Beautiful fish very tasty. Chips were piping hot and to very tasty. The spring rolls is the best I've tasted from a chippy so was really impressed. Curry sauce was very enjoyable as we're the battered mushrooms. Finally my little girl enjoyed her fish cake and even ate some of my fish bless her which is fab as she's not to well. Thank you.

Oh my cod....more like Oh my good that's good. A very pleasent gentlemen delivered are food to the door and we then gorged on Oh my Cods fabulous fish and chips. Thank you Oh my Cod, Thank you Just Eat we are now very happy and full people.

Unfortunately, this is my poorest experience with OMC It started with having to go down to collect from driver/bike instead of receiving at my door as there was a problem with motorbike (apparantly) and then, warm, (not hot) not nice tasting food (highly unusual) All felt "not right" and, looking at my "thin boomerang" bit of "Cod" I don't think I will attempt eating it. I also gave £1.50 tip but wish I had not now. As an "often orderer" from Oh My Cod, it almost seems as if this food came from another place? We were so looking forward to our dinner but are left disappointed and has put us off of future orders,

I waited 1 hour and 1/2 for my order. The fizzy drink was at room temperature, no salt and vinegar on the chips although ordered and the batter on the fish was thin and of poor quality. As a contrast the chips were nice and the portions were huge... But an overall disappointing experience.

Best place for fish and chips. Unfortunately when we tried to order recently just eat showed it as no longer delivering to our area. Will be greatly missed

Apparently they came but i didnt hear a knock and then apparently called my house and they said i said i didnt order any food. Resent which was nice but charged me a pound extra and told me i had to come down and get it because he wouldn't come up. Utterly shameful

Second time I've ordered from here - yet again food was lovely. Delivery took a bit longer then expected but driver explained why and food was still nice and hot!

Disgusted with this service, very poor I asked for no tomatoes in my burger as I am highly allergic I then received my burger with FIVE tomatoes in and around my burger!! FUMING! And when I called to complain the shops response was "what can I do about it" 😡 then offered me a free burger when I next order which i wont be! Very uphappy!
