The best restaurants in Lambeth London

Delicious vegan pizza highly recommended. Additionally kind and friendly staff. Great number of different options so it was very tasty even if I'm not a vegan only person.

The Platform Cafe is pretty sneaky, the prices have been high since the beginning, with expensive items like kombucha and sandwiches that are small and overpriced. It's in the Loughborough Junction area where many cannot afford such prices. But the sneaky bit is that the cafe have a "pay-forward" scheme where customers can buy a lunch for someone else later to take for free who can't afford it. The problem is, the cafe keeps taking the money, but no-one in the community knows about it that they can get a free meal if they can't afford food. Not impressed with just accumulating money and not inform the community, many who are on benefits, many beggars in the area and so on. Too expensive with often non-fresh food produced.

Almorcé con los maleteros antes de encontrarme con algunos viejos amigos. Debo decir que la comida era excelente. No he estado allí por un tiempo, pero no esperaba nada diferente. La comida era abundante y el personal muy amable y la tienda estaba excepcionalmente limpia. Definitivamente iré allí en mi próximo viaje a Londres.

Ok, soy un compañero kiwi (el fundador es un NZder), así que podría tener un toque de parcialidad. Sin embargo, esta cafetería es simplemente la mejor de la ciudad. ¿Por qué? Bueno, el café es excelente y no es demasiado caro, y la comida es sabrosa, fresca (pruebe la avena, el aguacate en masa fermentada o simplemente tostadas y mantequilla de maní) y realmente sabe como si estuviera en casa. El entorno es espacioso y 'industrial-chic' en una forma tipo 'trabajamos', y atiende tanto a las muchas personas que trabajan por cuenta propia que se sientan con las computadoras portátiles durante todo el día como a los padres y cuidadores de niños pequeños, para quienes los juguetes y se proporciona un área de juego suave (¿o es para personas que trabajan por cuenta propia?). Celebramos nuestra reunión de fin de año aquí (18 de diciembre). Lugar de buen tamaño, excelente ubicación. Un lugar administrado profesionalmente, muy complaciente y acogedor, nada era demasiado problema, lo que ayudó a que nuestro evento fuera un gran éxito. Todo el personal fue fantástico.

After a long day trekking around London with two young children we found this place right by our hotel. It had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Also, my daughter left her bag there with her phone in. Went back 1 hour later and the bag had been found and kept safe, life savers! would highly recommend

¡Idiotas! Merece la pena visitar este restaurante, ya que es el mismo café que aparece en el mundo - famoso video de Take On Me by A - ja! Es un privilegio visitarlo solo por esta razón. La comida es excelente, estoy seguro, pero aunque no lo fuera, DEBES visitar la cafetería! ¡No puedo esperar a visitarlo y le doy 5 estrellas!

Good food, and an alright price for the quality. Relaxing atmosphere. Had a matcha crepe and frappe, friend had a shiratama sundae.

Got the truffle cheeseburger here Friday lunch. That bad boy banged. Had a nice chat while they prepped fresh in 5mins. Truffle gooey-good and nice pickle crunch. Good stuff, boys'n'girls!

We came here for a spontaneous Sunday roast not sure what to expect. It is a beautiful pub and the roast was excellent. No better feeling than not being able to finish it but desperately trying to do so. We had the chicken roast and the veggie (halloumi) roasts which were both superb! Will be back!
