We visited La Mere on a Wednesday evening and had a wonderful time. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the selective menu has all of the French classics you'd hope for. The food and wine menu are both great value for money.

A most enjoyable meal. We were disappointed that the restaurant was not better patronised that evening as the food and service were excellent. We will go again.

89 Streatham Hillthe food was alright, not as nice as when we visited the restaurant - and fortunately I like Tarka Dahl as I received this with my Biriyani rice instead of a Biriyani curry. didn’t work as well though.

66-68 Clapham High Street, ClaphamAvoid!!! I went after many years to this place with a group of friends to dance and listen to Latin music, when I arrived it is £10 the entrance was fine but when I went to the bar to buy my drink they charged me for the service charge every time I bought a drink!!!! How can it be possible for them to do that!! I understand that if they are serving you at the table, but in the BAR where many only enter to have a drink it is a ROBBERY

1 Sandell StreetHad the Duck Confit with Dauphinoise Potatoes for evening meal - was cooked Perfectly- tasted Delicious- Quiet out of the way ideal for a low key meal with friends or on own. For a taste of typical casual french Cuisine.
