Really awful food! Tasteless, cold, messy presentation. This meat isn't from BBQ . The place looks dirty. Service was ok but really bad food. Avoid!!

The brunch is amazing, we’ve been for brunch multiple times and it never disappoints. The French toast is the best I’ve had, and we’ve tried about every savory dish and cannot pick a favorite! Highly recommend.

The food surpassed expectations and we were left going WOW. Extremely friendly staff and super understanding as we came with two toddlers.

Brilliant place to go, there's a room with tables and chairs to eat and drink, but the staff are next door. Music is piped through... We got Coldplay and Adele, and Whitney while we were there. The cocktails are great, and we had proper rock salt with our shots. You have to get a key from staff for unisex toilets, which are just round the corner. Definitely going again

Very good place for brunch! There are classic options plus BBQ meat if you fancy something different. In the Brixton village market which is nice and bubbly!

The food here is really nice. The place is located within Brixton Village, where you can eat in or alfresco. I'll definitely go here again. They also have two for one cocktails Sunday to Thursday aswell. The staff are very attentive. However, sometimes you may need to go looking for them as they are not always present.

Orderd baby back ribs through Deliveroo paid extra to make it arrive quickly, on arrival it was COLD what a load of rubbish!! I paid over £23 for cold hard ribs! Disgusting

A very unique place inside a covered market in Brixton, away from touristic areas, great breakfast all day, tasty and very good sausage and chorizo. The staff was welcoming and friendly. It can be a bit busy during the weekend so don't plan to eat here if you are in the rush.

I stumbled upon The Joint and had an absolutely delightful meal. I opted for the pancake with bacon, and it was honestly the best pancake I've had in a while! The pancake boasted the perfect combination of crispiness and fluffiness, while the bacon was cooked to perfection. Additionally, the coffee here is not only reasonably priced but also of exceptional quality. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning for another satisfying experience.

Occasionally working in Brixton and this is the only place I go to for lunch. Great service and friendly. Never had a bad meal, and the pulled pork burger is my fave.

Food was good, nothing entirely special. Vegetarian/vegan options were seriously lacking. Nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly. I think they could have done with more people working that night as the staff seemed pretty rushed off their feet.

Met some friends for a quick breakfast yesterday - so glad we did. I had the 'Senor' - sourdough with avocado, chorizo, eggs and hollandaise. All for a tenner and absolutely spot on!

Mixed experience! Service was great (slightly long wait between main and sides) but no major complaints there. The BJ burger was great, the wings were a little underwhelming- not much meat to the bone and the skin was very dry even with the sauce on it. Mac n cheese bites were amazing I just wish there was more of them. Will come back to try the ribs and the pulled pork burger though. Wish I’d gotten either of those instead of the wings. £10 for a “large plate” of 8 wings just wasn’t enough really. Fries weren’t anything special, well priced, cheesy fries, lots of cheese for the amount of fries. Got a little bit much after a while.

When I arrived staff did not acknowledged booking (table inside) and tried to put me outside table where is cold around 10pm (also food would go cold much quicker) Eventually got table inside. Food service no issues at all, pretty quick! My burger was amazing! Good portion of chips too! Average price for burger £9-£10 which is decent. Paying for the bill- had to wait ages… Because member of staff made us wait while flirting with some customers who sat behind us.

The food here was really tasty, highly recommend! The space is small though so maybe keep a second option in case you can't fit. The staff were truly incredible but it's 4 star bc we had to wait so long to pay but in all fairness the card reader was down- paying in cash would be better here

Went there this morning for brunch. I am a Northerner so I hate even the very idea of brunch (is it breakfast or lunch? Idiotic) but this was amazing. So welcoming, we all had something different (pancakes, eggs, vegan) and each of us were delighted with what we ordered. Looking at the tables around us, everyone else's food looked equally delicious. Great guys.

So…a few months ago I took my nephew and his friend to your restaurant for brunch here in order to retain the “cool aunty” status I have! They were very impressed and your breakfast was outstanding. Today, I ordered a delivery and your yummy double sausage, egg and bacon bun thing was out of this world. Hash browns too were spot on. Will definitely order from you again. Dinner here last night - £6 happy hour cocktails til 7pm (v good espresso martinis), pulled pork burger and chips. Staff (Noah & karma) were so friendly and attentive. Food was amazing (only slight improvement the pork could’ve been a bit hotter but no biggie). The raclette chips looked insane - the table next to us had them but we’d already ordered). Booked the day before via the fork and got a surprise 20% off (all the dinner bookings had this so defo book in advance if having dinner!). Would 10/10 recommend. Ambience inside was really nice too on a cold autumn night!

Had a delivery from the Joint. The pancake was nice and fluffy and hash browns were crispy and delicious. Did not find the award winning wings as impressive as they sounded!

We came here on a recommendation from a family member and I wish I could give this place more stars but I really felt disappointed with the food and slow service. We came on a Friday evening and understand that the restaurant was busy at certain points but our table of 5 didn't order very much food. Our drinks which consisted of three pints and two glasses of prosecco took almost 15 minutes to arrive. When food did arrive almost an hour later, the table agreed that the burgers were lacking that oomph and the Korean bbq wings were stone cold on certain parts. Sweet potato fries were oily. Rarely do I not want to pay the service charge in this climate of eating out. I guess if you came on a weekday you may have better luck but our experience felt like a let down.

If you're visiting the Brixton market and you want to have a nice meal then The Joint is the way to go. The food is delicious and there is a wide selection, from a classic English breakfast to ribs and burgers. All of that is accompanied by great fresh cocktails. I always have the best time, the service is kind and attentive!

Really enjoyed eating here, food was delicious, recommend the chicken strips with bbq dips and hot sauce with fries and coleslaw my wife had the large portion of chicken wings and was given the choice of half in Korean sauce and half in hot bbq sauce, food came quickly and staff were very friendly and helpful as my wife is a wheelchair user.

Tasty brunch (the poached eggs were a bit too vinegary for my liking but it went well enough with the rest of the meal). The place is very quiet and feels serene on a Sunday morning before the market comes alive.

Totally real food experience - A genuine friendly greating and service, and I was politely offered a choice of tables- the seating choices are impressive, you can either sit outside, or inside (much cooler with a fan!) I needed fuel for my journey home and received an amazing mocha chocolate, one of the best I've had in many a cups (top5). For my 'foodie fuel' I chose 'the classic brunchfast' and just like the mochachox i adored it and it was quickly adopted into my belly;-) The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and the seating that cosy I would have fallen asleep if they had not delivered the food!! Before I left I enquired about the chicken wings and will return very soon to sample them.

Excellent service and ambience. The food could be better. The ribs were a bit dried, and it was supposedly Korean bbq flavoured, but it tasted just like regular bbq sauce. The wings were nicer, and the small portion was more than enough.

A little gem right in the heart of brixton market. Cool place with a wall you can leave your message on. Very quick and friendly service. The ribs were fantastic. I will definitely go back to try the pulled pork burger

I went with my friend (before we went to the 5-minute away Ritzy Picturehouse for Barbie) and since we’re broke college students we ordered/shared a serving of 6 wings (£10) and fries (I forgot the price 🫠). The portions were good (we were not hungry at the end but we weren’t full) and the taste was unmemorable for me. Like they were tasty wings, but I didn’t really remember what they tasted once I left the market. For the service - 10/10! They were really nice, fast and competent. For the atmosphere, it was really cool eating in the Brixton Market surrounded by so many different stores and cultures. Overall I went there for relatively cheap food before a movie and I came out satisfied.

Absolutely incredible place, the BJ burger is a definite must!! The quality of the food is immeasurable with an unbeatable price, and is topped only by Jay’s outstanding service, thank you for a great evening! We’ll definitely be back soon.

Very tasty and good size burgers we really enjoyed!! The cheese fries were on point and the mc&cheese bites just needed a bit of flavour but the dip helped. We also came on happy hour and worked perfectly for my partner, he had 2 passion fruit martinis. The place is inside brixton village, which is very busy and live on the weekends. It also have a wall where you can leave a message ☺️ The staff were very friendly, attentive and happy to help.
