I’ve been coming here for literally years at this point. It’s my favourite burger joint in London and the food never disappoints. The team in here is excellent with their customer service and that’s a big part about what makes this place so special. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat quality food with quality service at a good price

I almost never write restaurant reviews, but I met a staff member named ASWAT who had to be recognized publicly for going above and beyond to ensure that my dinner experience was exceptional. His sincere welcome and excellent service made all the difference. He just had this friendly demeanor about him that made me all happy. He understood my needs, made excellent suggestions, and valued my comments. Kudos to him!! On other hand the food was really delicious & the vibe of restaurant was also good. Keep it up everyone. The food was incredible! Honest burgers have been a favourite of mine for a while, but the ‘ultimate bacon’ in this Brixton branch was outstanding. Definitely recommend, although it’s a super small restaurant so you may need to book or find a quiet time.

Went for a delicious burger Monday Feb at 6:15pm. Food was amazing and service was too. The only let down was watching the chef and the female waiter get all touchy feely while the other waiter ( man) was doing all the work. Completely unnecessary while with my kids!

Por lo general, es bueno a excelente, pero solo pedí comida para llevar y pedí jalapeños extra. A mi colega que había pedido previamente le gustó la idea y solicitó lo mismo, así como no sal de romero en las papas fritas. Llegué al estudio, vi mi hamburguesa esperando a que se hicieran papas fritas frescas y lote - salada. Luego tuvimos que esperar mientras se hacía un nuevo lote y poner con la hamburguesa de mi colega. Cuando llegué a nuestro estudio a la vuelta de la esquina para sentarme y comer, mis papas fritas estaban frías, y mi hamburguesa no tenía jalapeños. Mi colega tenía papas fritas y pimientos picantes. La moraleja de la historia tiene que ser que no debes ir a almorzar con un colega.

Very weird vibes not welcoming at all, both front of house staff furiously chewing gum like they were on something and way more concentrated on that and texting than anything else. We didn't realise one of them worked there at first cause she was just leaning there chewing on her phone in trackies and coat until she brought our food over without a word. Burgers and the chips were delicious so shout out to the kitchen team but would definitely not dine in here again!

Why are the burgers so small compared to other branches??? I've been recently visiting the London Bridge restaurant, and the Tribute burger is at least 50% larger for the same price. Last time we also ordered a kids menu with the chicken burger, and honestly it was horrible, in line with the picture uploaded in another review.

I had to return the fries, they were not freshly made. While the burger was tasty, due to the sauce and pickles, I was expecting a better quality of the meat. Found the staff unfriendly

First of all, staff are the worst. You’re the paying customer but they don’t even look at you and keep on ignoring while you wait. You have to initiate first as a customer and talk to them only for them to respond back with an attitude…. Wouldn’t go back there again! Plus if you are not a big fan of chicken, don’t go for the chicken burger (there’s only one option for chicken) and it’s basic!!

Before watching “The Play That Goes Wrong” at the Duchess Theatre, my husband and I decided to have a quick dinner. The restaurant was just about filled. Our experience was: good service, good food, and good prices. We ordered their burgers. Very good! Their burgers are like what we call “Smash burgers” in the USA. Yum! Their fries (chips) were also excellent. They use a Rosemary-salt on top of the fries. It really adds a lot of good flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant.

To be honest, the meat is not halal, so we had to order chicken, but to be honest, it is not sweet and comes with sweet potatoes, but not bitter, and the second type is buffalo, which is sweet and then comes with potatoes.

The girl serving on delivery right now at 7:40pm 25august is arrogant and dont respecting rider. I was standing there for 1 order more than half our for just 1 burger order in the mean time she misbehaved just for asking how long it take and after half our the other lady came and asked me to cancel.

Ordered several deliveries over their Uber eats delivery service from this store over the last few weeks totalling over £250 in value. Consistently let down on missing items, freezing cold delayed delivery, very bad service, burnt burgers see pics, no way of getting compensation for missed items. Avoid this store and Uber eats at all costs. Uber even block valid -ve feedback

Recommended by a friend as we don’t live in London but staying in Brixton. Not disappointed! Cute little restaurant inside Brixton Village, friendly staff and the chips were to die for…we ordered another portion. Both burgers were good too. Chicken & smashed beef with bacon. Wish I could return.

I used to be a very big advocate of Honest Burgers, loved their food and even ate there on my stag do (a few years back and not this branch). It appears that standards are rapidly slipping though and especially if you go for the delivery option they are definitely now over priced and you are lucky if you get what you even order. I ordered recently through Uber Eats and got a cold meal with half of it (paid for) missing. They replied to get in touch through their website which I did but got absolutely no response back. The thing is that on Uber (at least) the restaurant gets to respond to your comments but you then get no further way to respond - they answer your reviews like they actually care but they are simply playing the system i.e. they just don't give a flying f##k - they just engineer it so they look like they might! A VERY POOR ATTITUDE and it appears that pure greed has now got in the way of standards. If you want a nice burger my STRONG recommendation is to get one from Streatham Kitchen just up the road - much much nicer, higher quality and better portions!!!

Stumbled across this yesterday, after the Brixton Brewery tour. The food here was so good, £15 for a burger and chips is cheaper than most places in Medway where I live and the Gravy is unreal. Great value, great food. The staff were very friendly and the music in the restaurant was great as well. All round great experience.

WARNING: stay away from the 'summer' coleslaw - I just ordered it take out with a burger from Brixton store and the slaw is inedible... made from red cabbage (fine) but soaked in a very weird almost fishy tasting ... what? is it a kind of homemade mayo? IDK but DO NOT go there... get the fries (usually safe).

We took my son and his 8 year old friends on a day out and we were really taken care of by the staff. The food and the service were incredible. I thought we were going to be a nuisance as we were loud and messy and they were just brilliant and super charming. Plus my husband who is a veggie also found the best veggie burger he has had. So everyone was very happy. Thank you!

I haven’t been to this Honest Burgers location - in an arcade in Brixton - for years but had a lovely lunch here today. A lively spot, with great songs playing and cosy seating. My Beyond burger was really nice but the Rosemary chips were next-level. Sooo good! Decent value and friendly service from the guy working here today (sorry not to catch his name). My husband loved his smashburgers too. Would definitely come back.

First time at Honest Burger in Brixton and it was honestly perfect. Even tho it was a busy Saturday evening, Ola found us a nice table straight away and the food & drinks arrived really quickly! Her knowledge of the cocktail menu was superb and the Botanic Garden cocktail were delicious and genuinely as good as, if not better quality than any Cocktail bar we went to after! The Double Smash burger has got to be the best cheeseburger available in the UK right now imo, tastes like it should be priced so much higher, (very grateful that it isn't tho!!) & without a doubt, better than any other burger chain or restaurant I've ever tried. The evening was made perfect by Ola's superb witty, friendly banter and great knowledge of the menu. Really nice to see her and her team work so well together - vibe was great, music was great and the burgers are honestly something special, huge credit to the chefs! Very much looking forward to my trip to Brixton - Thank you very much HB!

Have been to other honest burgers and even had deliveries too but this was the worst I have had. Burger was dry and chips were so skinny they should have been called crisps. Waitress was nice.

Popped in after a visit to Kings. Burger, fries and gravy, plus a couple of mojitos to wash it down. Gravy was incredible, can see now why it is feted. Will be back if in the vicinity again.

Although the burgers are nice but they are pretty small in size. My chips are sometimes more like crisp, I thought it was a one off but no, every time my chips are crunchy there is nothing in them. Bit of joke when your paying £14 for a small burger and chips but you can’t provide actual chips….. That brings to the most frustrating thing about Honest Burgers is that EVERYTHING COMES WITH CHIP SO YOU CANNOT ORDER ANY BURGER SEPARATELY. There are times that I or my family just want burgers and no chips! Sometimes I want an extra burger so I can try out the other options but they don’t have a menu to order burgers separately and I checked this with them. I think it’s weird Honest Burgers do this. They are the only burger restaurant I know that don’t allow you to buy the burgers separately. My advise, go to Black Bear Burger at Brixton, their burgers are yum and far better restaurant.

What an absolute gem! This tiny and cosy Honest Burgers in Brixton can offer you a wonderful ambience, great service and yummy food! It's not only a taste of juicy and beefy burger finished with rosemary salted chips on a side, accompanied by chipotle mayo if you wish - but also a fabulous choice of sides like those mouth-watering buffalo wings! Additionally, the refreshing Brixton Pale Ale can compliment all the flavours! Big shout to the Team in HB Brixton !!!

Burgers are second to none, always cooked just the way I like (well done) and rich in flavour and texture. The chips are plentiful and i love the ample choice of sauces on the menu. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, conscious of allergies and dietry requirements, flexible and knowledgeable about their product. The seating arrangement is quite restriced as it is a small place and can get crowded easily, but i guess that s part of the charme of being inside a market.

The food was so good, delicious and the service was great. We ate the chicken burger and the local special, which is a must try. Overall, it was great and will visit again.

My review is regarding customer service. I left a review for this place ,had a swift response from the establishment, and can only praise how my review was handled. I made a choice to remove my review once I dealt with customer services.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I went on a school trip with a few classmates from Hull, we were originally meant to go to Hard Rock Cafe but sadly they couldn't allow us due to space. So we all paid £18 odd for a burger and chips. The burger was dry and had no flavour or salad apart from a flimsy bit of lettuce which coverer barely half of the burger. A drink from London costs enough already, and to find out it is just a can of coke instead of a glass was even worse. The only reason the chips were so expensive was due to the "rosemary salt" which had no taste at all, and was too dry, and the brioche bun tasted like it was store bought It is way too crammed in, and the waitors were frantically trying to dish everything out like we were demanding to be fed, however we were waiting 25 minutes for food that was already meant to be prepared for when we got there to fit into a schedule we had 🤷‍♀️ One kid asked for a plant based meal, and instead was giving a regular burger. When he complained about his order not being right, they tried to charge him again for them to make another burger for him. He eventually got his food, which he described as disgusting, with a side of garlic sauce. He went back to the hotel we were staying at and complained about the food giving him diarrhea. Toilets were right next to the kitchen and had a horrible smell coming from them, and there was toilet paper all over the floor. The atmosphere was terrible I will never go back, I'd rather spend my money on a fast food restaurant than this
