We got a coffee and donuts after the marathon, my partner was really hungry and cold, the tram were brilliant, and quick just what we needed !

I wanted to share my recent experience with Arepa & Co through Deliveroo. Unfortunately, my order was incomplete, which was quite disappointing. As a Venezuelan, it wasn't very pleasant to see my order like that. I really hope you can improve your service so that everyone can fully enjoy our amazing food!

Food: best Bitoque I’ve had in 17 years. Service: Very good welcoming service. Real professional. Atmosphere: the atmosphere is home and just what you’d expect from a Portuguese restaurant. 10/10

First time ordering from this place. We ordered over Deliveroo and their service was quick and food was well packed. I had Doro, dulet, quanta firfir and kitfo. The dulet and kitfo were top! So delicious. The doro was also good! The only one I didn’t enjoy as much as I wanted to was the quanta firfir (it had a bit watery/ soaked enjera fitfit taste and maybe needed more seasoning / berbere I think) it wasn’t my personal favourite and I don’t think I’d order it again. That’s not to take away from the rest and the generous portions. I’d recommend to try the rest, especially the kitfo and dulet!

While staying in stockwell, Max cafe was the place to go for good food at reasonable prices. All the locals go and been going for decades Max is well loved and cares and remembers his customers.

We arrived around lunch time, and quickly we got a warm reception from the waiter in charge, The place was had a really nice feel to it, great background music, we order some starters which were great, our mains were quite frankly amazing, very happy with the overall experience, will definitely recommend, and I will return asap. The place is beautiful, worth the visit. We had a bad experience because of the erratic behaviour of the standing comedy show host downstairs. After opening with "let's have a good vibe tonight" message, he later went to admonish and criticize some members of the crowd for saying "some homophobic" comment that only he in his mind heard, no one else in the crowd. After raving about it like a maniac for 5 minutes and all of us in the crowd being like "what is going on here?", he apologized to the same people he told off before explaining he misunderstood something they said, but the air was dense and negative already.
