Food: best Bitoque I’ve had in 17 years. Service: Very good welcoming service. Real professional. Atmosphere: the atmosphere is home and just what you’d expect from a Portuguese restaurant. 10/10

Portuguese food at a reasonable price.

They gave us a reserved table, great staff. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was the calamari may have been packet, still cooked well. Should have asked for octopus to be a bit more seared, my fault. Delicious good portions and will go again. Great discovery. Reminded my son of when he was young eating portuguese food with Nan.

We went to eat at 3 lions, I wasn't happy with the way of serving, it wasn't the same as other times, the food was served on trays and then for us to serve it like this, they came to eat less, I didn't like it because the dish should have already been served, neither I nor the My family was happy I'm not going there but because I wasn't served as usual

Aunque el interior del restaurante es simple y sin pretensiones, lo que le falta en decoración, lo compensa con creces en comida y servicio. Optamos por la oferta de almuerzo, una deliciosa versión de pescado con papas fritas. En lugar de las papas fritas tradicionales, el plato vino con una generosa porción de papas, zanahorias y brócoli, creando una comida saludable y equilibrada. El tamaño de las porciones era enorme, dejándonos más que satisfechos. El pescado estaba perfectamente cocido, con un bocado tierno y sabroso que maridaba maravillosamente con las verduras frescas. El servicio fue excelente, con personal amable y atento que se aseguró de que teníamos todo lo necesario durante toda la comida. El ambiente relajado y poco exigente lo convirtió en una experiencia única. Si estás en la zona y deseas auténtica comida portuguesa, Three Lions es una experiencia que no debes perderte. La combinación de abundantes porciones, deliciosos sabores y un gran servicio lo convierten en una verdadera joya oculta. Muy recomendable!

I'll never set foot there again. The man who was serving almost forced us to eat food. I had already been there and I liked the food but the service was horrible and he even felt embarrassed

I recently had a lunch at this restaurant with my family, including my wife and our two children, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Upon placing our order, I noticed that the waitress did not take any notes. I ordered a spaghetti carbonara for one of my sons, but she mistakenly brought a Bolognese instead. When I pointed out the error, she took the dish back to correct it. The rest of our meals arrived a bit later, and we began eating while my son waited for his carbonara. It took an additional 15-20 minutes for the correct dish to arrive, but when it did, the pasta was undercooked to the point of being inedible. I politely informed the waitress that the pasta was not cooked enough. She took the plate away and returned a few minutes later, stating that she and her colleagues had tried the pasta and found it to be al dente. Her response was dismissive and rude, which only added to our disappointment. Not only was the service lacking, but the quality of the food was also unacceptable. My son was unable to eat his meal, and the rest of us found the food to be subpar. I wanted to bring this to your attention as our experience was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend your restaurant to anyone who values good food and quality service.

Food was authentic and tasty. One of the cons is the price that is a bit higher for the atmosphere inside. The service was good.

I love this place, been going there for about 20 years. Its a cafe, its not haute cuisine! No little drips of mint and pea reduction, no flower petals placed artfully in your salad. I eat at places like that as well, but for great home cooked huge portions in a lively, well loved neighbourhood gem, this place is unbeatable. Service is always great, prompt and friendly. Its a good place to take children as lots of delicious options for little ones! For the money, probably the best steaks I have ever eaten in London! A huge t Bone is about £25 and comes with chips salad and rice... The rice is the best I have had any where, its just plain rice, but very slightly flavoured with garlic, or some thing, tastes like no other rice Ive had and is delicious. Very good sea food. Sweet and tender lams in thick garlicy olive oil. A tasty Seafood risotto (that is supposed to be for two, but could easily stretch to feed 4!), and rely good fresh grilled whole seabags for £16... Amazing! Really really good drinks offering, 1 litre jugs of Portuguese wine from about £12, bottles from about £16, beers are I thing about £2, But try some of the speciality Portuguese aperitifs, spirits and especially the brands with an expresso to Finnish. Best of all, a visit to The 3 Lions Cafe is a great deal cheeper than a trip to Madera or Lisbon, but it feels as though you are there with out getting on a plane! I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised by the bill. Could not recommend highly enough.

Oh my God!! Now it become my favourite restaurant in London!! There are packed of local people and Portuguese so u know must be awesome! Very authentic, comfortable and humble style restaurant ! I like it! Also reasonable price and huge portion!! The waiting time of foods is slow, but after all you will feel is very worth waiting! The staff gave us some port ears salad to try and omg is absolutely Incredible!!!! You gotta try this restaurant!! Next time I will absolutely try their King prawn!!

I ordered a prego special and just got bread and steak with chips. No ham, egg, salad or cheese

It was our first time trying a Portuguese restaurant in London. This was a great option! We went there to watch Portugal Euros 2024 game and the atmosphere was really good - felt just like home for sure. They serve all Portuguese delicacies which is great when you crave a traditional dish. We had francesinha and moelas with fries - not as my mum cooks it, but it was good 👍 and still recommend it!

Cheap, big, delicious, it can be called a canteen

One of the three food containers was not closed correctly which resulted in seafood sauce spilling inside the bag and into a meal that contained meat, rendering the food inedible. An email with photographic evidence to customer service was ignored because the receipt wasn't photographed next to the products within 24 hours. Whose products would they be if not the ones in the order?

Delicious Portuguese food at a great price. Must try it out if you are in the area , you will not regret it. Very friendly staff that ensure you are happy and satisfied. The environment is 5*, would give more if I could, everyone is happy and cheerful. A nice place to go every week for a meal with your loved ones. Nice music aswell , thank you really enjoyed it. I have been to this place three times so far and definitely recommend it to those looks for some portuguese style food. A few things could be improved like space expansion as tables are quite close to each other but as space is premium in london is probably not a reasonable ask. The only reason I do not give 5* is because there are nicer places close by, however slightly costier. Regardless, a great place to take your friends or family for a nice dinner out.

A place that takes you back to the 14th century where men are allowed to out loud make statements " women like strong men that beat them up, put them in line! A man wearing a Chelsea club uniform! As a business woman and a DV surviver that made me angry! So if you want to feel offended and a second class citizen go ahead!!

Amazing fresh seafood! Very delicious ~

As with many Portuguese restaurants around this area, the food was in big portions, affordable, but most of all absolutely delicious! But I think what makes this place stand out is the relaxed atmosphere (as my mate said, “it’s like we’re on holiday”), and the superbly kind and unpretentious yet attentive staff. The three lions transported us back to the streets of Lisbon, with the taste of £3 superbocks lingering as we waddled back to the station. 10/10!

It's proper. Real food. Love this place. If you want fine dining, go into Town. Spend £300. If you want rubbish food, go to a Pub and get Diabetes. Best food is right here.

This is a regular of mine. The food here is incredibly good, I highly recommend the fish stew (I like to share a portion as it’s so big). The service always comes with a smile, and the beer is always cold.

Good question, I was invited by the owner of this restaurant to criticize, as a customer, I'm suspicious, but I recommend it to anyone who likes good food, there's only one dish that doesn't satisfy me, even in Portugal, few can compare it to a cook with real good hands, my favorite in all of Europe, even if I only check on Sundays with reservations, I must say I really like everyone, from the kitchen to the scullery maids, the owner with a good, simple heart deserves it

Today went there because of the fame. Ordered a seafood rice. Big portion and a lot of seafood. One thing that could be better is perhaps using more starchy rice? So it won’t be as watery. The tomatoes also could be better, but I think that’s a uk problem instead.

His passion for the restaurant shone through, making the experience not just a meal but a genuine culinary journey. The grilled beef, masterfully crafted under Jose's guidance, was a true delight. His personal touch and warm hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to the entire dining experience. Very delicious food and reasonable price. Good place for drinking with friends in dinner. The SEAFOOD RICE was a little bit too salty but generally good and seafood was fresh🤩. Recommend the HOUSE WINE. All the staff are kind and patient

Authentic simple place with special atmosphere, the biggest portions, great Espetada and the best value house wine in London.

Service and food were both good despite the restaurant being very busy. Wine by the carafe (£6 for half a litre) works out better than by the bottle (£15) as we discovered. Chose meals from the menu the first time and had a couple of the daily specials yesterday (10th August) ... Bonus for me was that they accepted AMEX for payment !

Great place to eat typically cooked Portuguese food with a good selection of beverages. The selection of wines could be wider as Portugal is one of the main producers in Europe and some low-cost and exquisite options came to the market recently but I'm sure they will update. Overall it is a lovely gastronomic experience in a relaxed and vibrant environment near the heart of London.

Visited for mothers day, wow it was delicious! We had the roasted baby goat, I could not finish it as is a huge dinner includes potatoes salad rice and roasted onions, the flavours from the goat was fab and it was succulent. My daughter had a sirloin steak and that was massive, it was cooked to perfection (she gave me a taste) that's what I will have next time fries rice and salad was served with the sirloin. Staff were just great attentive, not over bearing. Good value meal. no service charges! We will be regulars here

Fantastic Portugese cafe/restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. On this occasion I had breakfast there and the portion sizes were great and reasonably priced too. Quite a few options and also good quick service.

Great food and good value for money

I came here to meet a friend who chose it when the the nearer local cafe was closed. What a fab surprise. Lovely and light. Clean and welcoming. I had an Espresso that came in a tiny yet chubby cup (just how I like it served) The food looked delicious so we will definitely come and try it on another day. The coffees came to £2 and my friend thought that was for one. We were so surprised. The girl who served us was delightful. I love the local Portuguese community where I live. Will def come again.

I ordered bifinhos with mushroom sauce. Mushrooms were not cleaned at all. Every time I was having a bite I could feel eating crunchy soil... Unacceptable.
