The best restaurants in Tudor Kingston upon Thames London

Only outdoor seating (but we were lucky with the weather) and not much of that. But the coffee and croissants were great and the service excellent.

I went to the Queens Head last night with my wife and our two close friends for their Thursday steak night, which we have had before and always raved about it to our friends but now we were there with them. Last night though the whole meal was just delicious we ordered 2 Steak De Boufes to share with our better half’s both medium rare, with thick cut chips, large mushroom and grilled tomatoes and peppercorn sauce, I had mash instead of chips. The steaks were just incredible, I love steak and these were as good as any I have had before at either Gouchos or Argentinian steak house. But as it was steak night we got a free bottle of red wine per couple. I asked the manager Eleanor for a bottle of their fantastic Malbec, but she suggested we try a bottle of Chateau Musar, a beautiful red Lebanese wine. My friend who is a bit of a wine boff started to get very excited at the thought of this and when it came well let’s say it was like Christmas morning! The wine was incredible and accompanied the steak so well it was delicious. So for just £65 per couple we had this amazing Steak De Boufe with a bottle of outstanding red wine. Thank you to the fantastic chef and to the amazing and brilliant manager Eleonar for an unbelievable meal. We will all be back very soon Peter & Emma Greenwood

Very nice fish and chips, freshly made at lunchtime, and very friendly staff.

Lovely little cafe by the river. Tuna melt and cappuccino were both delicious! Lots of benches and dog friendly.

We stayed at the Queen's Head last week and it was wonderful! The room was very large and the food was spectacular! 5 Stars

Service felt really rushed . We were in and out within an hour and the plates were cleared as we were eating

My husband and I had a lovely visit to the Boaters Inn, Kingston. Situated on the Thames near Kingston bridge the pub has different seating areas and it is advisable to book a table as it is a very popular place to eat and drink. Good selection of beer and food. We very much enjoyed the view of the river from the decking area with high stools. Service was good and the pub had a nice vibe.

Visited here for a lunchtime bite. The pesto & mozzarella toasted sandwich was lovely, as was the latte. Seating inside and out, friendly staff, good service, clean. Visit recommended

Excellent meal as always. It was a great place to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday and our waiter Lino really looked after us.

We have been regular consumers of Take Away deliveries from Deea, with a high level of expenditure over the last few years. Last night , March 16th 2024, we ordered a delivery at the cost of £88. Firstly , a king prawn shashlik dish @ cost of £16 approx. one of the most expensive dishes on the order , was not delivered. I rang the restaurant and it was delivered , albeit later than the original order. Then my daughter found a black hair in her vegetarian dish,. I rang the restaurant again, and the manager rang me back shortly afterwards to say it was a hair from a brush they use on the Tandoori grills. He sent another replacement . By then it must have been some time after the original delivery and my daughter would not trust the food again, feeling quite ill at finding the hair , and of course by the time the replacement dish had been been delivered again, it was all to late for my dinner. waiting for the prawn dish and hers, it felt like money wasted . Ok, these things happen people might say , but when you spend £88 ...not unusual for us with Deea , it is not unreasonable to expect due care and attention. We will not be ordering delivery from Deea ever again. Just not good enough or acceptable standard of service. Very careless and poor customer service.

What's good?: Friendly welcome. Nice ambience. Food was flavourful. No automatic service charge added. What's not so good?: Tandoori Shaslik not served on a sizzler so didn't get those all important aromas which stimulate the appetite and taste buds. Never had this problem at any of the many Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi we have visited. What would have been nice to have?: Hot towels. Don't have to be fancy or anything. The ones which come in a packet would be just fine.

Nice fresh buns and bread, A good selection of sandwiches were on sale together with hot pies. it was fairly priced but service was abrasive and not welcoming. Off street parking is available
