I had dinner with friends, the place is nice, at the entrance there is a strong unpleasant smell, it was very hot; the girls were not very welcoming and not very attentive to the service. Unclear and confusing menu.

All great except the tables outside are very close together and are smoking tables. We had to move inside as a couple of guys were 5cm away on the next table both smoking which was drifting over us .. The majority of their tables are now outside. If you're OK with fag smoke or sitting inside then it's a great venue.

This was my first visit to Edera after hearing positive reviews online. Since I live in the area, I wanted to bring my friend from Italy, who was visiting for the weekend. She works in the hotel industry in Italy, making her the perfect litmus test for a great dining experience. First impressions: the restaurant was fully booked, which was a good sign. The atmosphere was lively but not overly noisy, and the inviting aroma of the food set high expectations. The meal itself was excellent. Our starters were outstanding—the chickpea soup was delicious—while the mains were truly sublime. Dessert didn’t disappoint either; the tiramisu was rich and flavorful. In terms of food and ambiance, Edera certainly delivers. However, there are areas for improvement. Our bill for two came to £120, which felt steep considering we didn’t order wine. While great food can justify a premium price, the service didn’t quite match the standard. The staff lacked warmth and attentiveness at times, and the experience felt rushed—our plates were being cleared before we had finished eating. Additionally, waiting 10 minutes for dessert service was excessive. It’s possible that regulars receive more welcoming treatment, but if Edera wants to encourage repeat visits and word-of-mouth recommendations, improving the friendliness and attentiveness of service would make a big difference. Overall, the food was delicious, albeit pricey. Would I return? That depends—if the service improves, absolutely.

Acabábamos de llegar a Holland Park y nuestro anfitrión recomendado la Academia para la cena. Llegamos temprano para la hora de la cena, así que no hay mucho de una multitud todavía. El servicio era muy bueno y nuestra cena en tiempo y forma. Yo tenía el pescado y patatas fritas, que era muy sabroso.
