Embassy Cafe in Kensington and Chelsea

Have been here many times, it used to be reasonably priced and good tasty food. Now overly priced £1.50 for 3 slices of 1 small tomato! Bubble recipe has changed now seems to have onion in it. The worst thing for us is the service. We have always been made welcome and waitresses try to get you a table quickly. We went on Saturday 4 people, two went to order and two tried to find a table. A waitresses asked a man using a large table to move to a small table and gestured for us to sit. She then said no that table is for 4 people, I said we are 4 people but she then said sorry the people at the counter are before you. I informed her that they were not even in the cafe when we ordered and paid and they had only just walked in, she kept insisting they were first so we got up as we didn't want a scene. Luckily some kind gentlemen were finishing and offered their table saying" we saw what happened, she obviously knows the other people to carry on like that". We felt really upset about how we were treated like second class citizens and will not be returning. The waitress was short, Eastern European with her hair in a pony tail. She was later chatting to the people on the other table saying you always remind me of my son so she obviously knew them!

The young ladies who take your order are smiling full of fun and make it easy to eat there as a solo patron The service is both quick and efficient and the food is delicious

This is a great cafe.The staff are friendly, polite and professional. The food is fresh and delicious. The establishment was very clean. I can not recommend a better cafe in the area!

Good food, polite and friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. Good place to go to by yourself. I think its also a good place to go to with friends and colleagues. I always enjoy eating: bacon, fried egg, sausages, toast, pancakes.

Very nice cafe. My friends had omelette and salad I had the all day breakfast. There was seating outside as well as inside.

Beautiful and local little café that I have been going to for as long as I can remember. I love how they upgraded the place while still keeping it familiar and friendly for all the locals.

The food was outstanding. There are many choices listed and they also have daily specials. I had the spaghetti with homemade meat sauce. Yummy! My husband had the spicy scampi with linguini. Equally tasty. Will plan on returning. Open for breakfast and lunch. A great choice.

The Embassy cafe keeps going from strength to strength with its tasty food, friendly and efficient staff, and personal service. We love to eat at an independent cafe with an owner who really cares about running a successful business and looking after his customers.

We have been going to the Embassy for years for the generous well-cooked food, friendly service and great atmosphere. Good for working people, families and anyone who likes honest tasty unpretentious food. They have now started doing Sunday roasts which are absolutely delicious and inexpensive for the quality of the food.

came here for blt buegette buegette was terrible and stale payed £1.80 for extra bacon was no different from my friends don't go to this cafe had severe stomach cramps 6 hours later

The breakfasts were really good and there was a lot of different options! Both meat and vegeterian alternatives. The staff were really nice and kind and we got a lovely service! Highly recommended!

We were staying in the area & went for breakfast. The food was great & so were the staff. So friendly! I would highly recommend for anyone traveling that just wants a taste of local food.

No nonsense, fry-up with generous portions of thick cut bacon, sausage, hash browns ( the squeak is top-notch), beans and egg, with fresh white bloomer toast (30p extra) and tea for 6 quid, you can’t go wrong. Sat outside in the morning sun as workmen drop by to pick up their butties on their way to work, excellent way to recoup from a slightly over-enjoyed Friday evening. The staff are also super friendly, a great local spot.

Had a meeting arrived early looked for a cafe and found this little gem great service lovely food with good portions and very friendly staff, it's a must visit.

I think this is the best treatment I've received in all this years coming to London. The staff treats you as an old dear friend from minute one. We had a huge breakfast. Food is all homemade and delicious. The bar is not super fancy, but the experience is so great we didn't care one bit. Authentic, caring, delicious... And not pricy. Can't wait to come back next time I visit the city.

The tables weren't dirty, coffee horrible, and breakfast everything prefabricated. And I heard the owner shouting abuse at his employees. Really Horrible!
