Fresh and delicious sandwiches which were sold at reasonable price and size. Came everyday when I travelled in London. The chef is helpful and cheerful.

Bought a ciabatta chicken escalope cheese chilli sauce toasted sandwich. The chicken was really cheap and wet and soggy. And so much chilli sauce it made the ciabatta also wet. Would never go here again.

Great little no frills sandwich shop. Really good value. Why go to Pret when this place is open?! I had a well filled baguette for a paltry £3.50. Recommended. (Just be aware it's not a 5 star place though! you want that then you're looking at a good few pounds more..)

I used to come here nearly every day whilst a student at Imperial College. It was a life saver as the food is much cheaper and tastier than the cafes the university provides. The owner was very friendly too, and gave sometimes gave discounts to regulars :) Eventually, they managed to get a space in ICL to sell hot food, so it was nice to see the business grow!

These guys serve some good food with a good selection for everyone but a couple of the staff there are really miserable, particularly one guy, white fella with medium length hair (don't know his name) cheer up or quit your job if your not happy. go next door, same food selection but much tastier and really friendly service 👍

Advertises Breakfast baguette all day, but most of the time it is out.

Breakfast baguette. Extra bacon. Extra egg. Yes, yes, yes. Only problem with this place is the extraordinary level of ambient grease. You leave with a film of it all over your clothing. No chance of sneaking away from your colleagues for a secret one here, everyone can smell where you've been.

Cheap and generous portions of comfort food and lunch options. Have been going to the place for 8 years and it always hits the spot.

Agree the food is good here and fresh and some of the people there are super nice and sweet but the service I received today was unbelievable, hopefully they improve on this. I just went in for a sandwich and asked for half of one and half of another filling (one cheaper than the other). Two days ago i was charged £2.75 (the typical price for a sandwich with just the more expensive filling, which is fair enough) for the same sandwich and suddenly today it was £3.50. Not big money but it is the principle here that counts. When I told the guy behind the counter (short, dark skinned gentleman) he said OK give me £2.75. I took my card out and suddenly he came up with a 30p card charge, which was the first time i hear about it. Have never had a card surcharge applied before. This was his way of getting more money out of me, overcharging me and it was so obvious. I told him that I will never visit their shop again and he said "please". 2 stars rather than 1 as the sandwich was good, although i asked for cucumbers as well, which were never put in.

Really great sandwiches and really good value. Freshly made to order and great for a take-away picnics in nearby parks. Lovely staff. Cheap take-away coffees also. Good variety of fillings & breads.

Il y a des jours ou le temps presse et c'est pour ce genre de journée que le Sandwich Shop existe et encore, que pour le matin et l'après midi!!! Très bien qualité et diversité. Produits frais et probablement maison. Rien de très raffiné, mais qui va droit au but.

The menu is a little confusing but there is a huge selection and the quality is good. There are no tables and the building is very small. The prices were great.

Tired of paying way too much for a skimpy little premade bun that's been sitting in the cooler for who knows how long? Then try this simple little sandwich shop, with tasty and substantial eats for half the price you'd pay anywhere else in London. Made to order too. Fuel up before you hit the V&A.

It is a nice buffet for lunch. The Mexican chicken was really tasty and spicy. There is no eat-in option.

Busy yet very polite, cheap and yet very tasty. A perfect spot for grabbing a quick meal and enjoying it at Hyde Park which is literally a two minutes walk from there. Totally recommended! 2.7£ for a very tasty baguette is definitely a great deal considering the central location!

Coming here at least once a month as well as to other cafés and sandwich shops, I have concluded that this is my personal favourite for the following reasons:- Cheap food.- Large variety in meals, sandwiches, drinks and dessert.- Fast and very friendly service.- Normally quiet, perfect for doing work.

There is nothing pretentious about what's on offer, but that's great. Food is freshly prepared and the place is full of local cabbies and workmen, which is always a good sign. Breakfast baguettes were a favourite with the kids.

I love this place, I go here 3-5 times a week at least! cheap sandwiches that are delicious. They'll make your sandwich with cold cuts the way you like but I suggest trying their creations! They are so good. I have a hard time trying new ones because I always want the same thing. Tandoori chicken is my favorite but their egg salad and peri peri is good too. I want to try them all! They're egg sandwiches are good in the morning too!

This is by far the best lunchtime food place in the area, especially if you like mayonnaise which their food is drowned in. Seriously though, the sandwiches are varied and delicious, prices very reasonable and portion sizes huge. Makes a nice change from al the overpriced horrible places in the area.

The owner, Ash, is a very friendly guy who's also very helpful. They have at several occasions done delivery to Imperial College for various events and were always easy to deal with. The sandwiches are good, there's a good variety and I've also been pleased with the samosas. The staff has certainly learnt how to get a high throughput with their limited space and keep on top of the orders constantly.

While studying abroad in London, this shop was on the way home from my class and I would stop and get lunch a few times a week! The kebab sandwich and the curry sandwich were my favorites! I loved to grab a sandwich, a drink, and head up to Hyde park (weather permitting) for a picnic. Or head over to a museum and eat on the steps. I can't wait to go back and eat there again!

The Sandwich Shop is located very close to Imperial College London and is a favourite spot amongst the students there. The food here is fast and reasonably priced and I am a big fan of the breakfast baguette meal which is a bacon, egg and sausage baguette and a coffee/tea for only 2.50 pounds. So if you in the area and want to grab a quick bite then give the sandwich shop a try.

Inexpensive, well-prepared sandwiches for breakfast and lunch, with friendly service. What's not to like? I would have liked to try the chicken curry, and some of the other prepared items. Service is quick, but a queue can develop when workmen in the area break for lunch. I'd give it a 5, but it's just a no frills sanswith shop...so a 4, but I understand a 5!

Hey, you, psssttt.....Say you are out and about after visiting the British Museum of Natural History. You are hungry and it's a nice day. Stop by this gen of a sandwich shop, get a baguette sandwich with wonderful fresh ingredients, a drink and head 2 block up to Hyde park for a small picnic. You will have a memorable experience. :-). This place is known for feeding local students ($3 sandwiches that will fill you for a day) as well as taxi drivers who show up in droves when it opens at 5:30 am - so you it is good and is a good value. Enjoy..but don't tell anyone else :-).

Looking for a quick afternoon lunch, I ordered the chicken avocado on baguette for £ 2.50. Amazingly delicious. The baguette was fresh, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The sandwiches are chicken-salad-ish so I was worried about the common mayo-over-board. I was so happy by the seasoning in the dressing. The avocado was ripe and soft. They had pizza, falafel, and kebobs. I'll go back to try something new next time, The great prices paired with fantastic food sold me.

I'm attending a conference at the Royal Albert Hall and it's worth the 10 minute walk at lunch break.

I once lived in london and this was my favorite place EVER! I'm actually on my way to paris next week and am spending 12hrs in london on my way just so I can go in and get chicken and avocado on a buttered baguette with chips. Highly recommended if you're in the neighborhood, and for a city like londond INCREDIBLY cheap.

Like practically all Imperial students, I can't get enough of this place. Perfect for lunch given the overpriced campus food.
