NB: this is a review for a delivery order.
Food was delivered cold via Just Eat, except the app said the delivery was via the restaurant rather than Just Eat, so that was confusing and I couldn’t tell when the order was arriving. My naans were like biscuits as was the tandoori roti. Very disappointing first experience, the chicken vindaloo was disgustingly oily. The 1cm layer of oil when I opened the lid made me feel like throwing it away, but I decided to persevere as I was hungry. I had to scoop the oil out before attempting to eat. My COLD vindaloo (which by the way should have had a few pieces of potato in it but had none) had a decent enough flavour.
The Chicken 65 was just average (also cold), the prawn dish hasn't been eaten yet as hubby will have that when he gets back from work although I'm not holding my breath that he'll like it! Who expects a delivery from a local restaurant to turn up cold? Part of the point of me ordering a delivery was to be able to just eat it and crack on with my day. Oh and don’t expect any complimentary poppadums or pickles or anything like that, these guys couldn’t even provide that courtesy like most other Indian restaurants so!
To be charged £2 for delivery and your food arrives cold and to be charged a £0.50p service charge for who knows what service, made this an even more disappointing experience with Just Eat and this restaurant! Oh and a 10p bag fee when they could have just delivered it in the paper bag (which was inside the plastic bag), what was the need for an additional plastic bag? I can't even reuse it as it's such cheap quality and has the bill stapled to it!
Very disappointing food and service. Starters were ok but the main course arrived at the same time. This meant it had to be reheated when we were ready to eat it. We then found several bones in it. The manager didn’t seem up to speed either. Overall just a really disappointing experience. We were at Honey Moon restaurant the night before and it was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
REally high quality meat and very tender which is hard to come by. Ive been to several lounges and none have come close to providing the quality service this place has. I havent been back in a while but I know that a few months ago before the pandemic they were bustling and very popular.
Have ordered from this established a number of times through just eat. Service has always been impeccable and food is to die for. Usually delivery comes quicker than allocated time. Authentic, home cooked and good portion size. However, since they have decided to come off just eat. I had to wait 1.5-2hours for a delivery when I was in close proximity. Each time I called to ask where my order was, I was met with hostility as if to say, calling them to ask about my order was an inconvenience to them. Would defo recommend the food but be prepared for hostility.
It seems like every week they forget something, despite our orders being simple. About two weeks ago, they remembered my coffee but not my waffles. I got a credit and ordered somewhere else, spending more money than if they hadn't forgotten my waffles. Today it's my sparkling water. They've forgotten my iced latte several times in the past, oarticularly when a hot coffee for my spoysr is also ordered.

Foodees Chicken is a hidden gem! The staff are super friendly and the service is always quick and easy. The food is tasty, fresh, and the prices are unbelievably good for the quality you get. Great value, great vibes—definitely my go-to spot for a proper chicken fix!

We usually buy chicken from here longtime before but has changed. Used to be juicy and crispy fried chicken. Now it seems double dead chicken and triple fried. I dont know why they bother to sell is those chickens which we can barely bite. Went straight to the bin ending up not having dinner the other day. I hope the management will do something about it. Disappointing.
For the cost of the food, the service and helpfulness was not great.
£18 for a Salmon bagel, which i asked if i could just have a cold bagel with cream cheese in it, unfortunately this seem impossible and a ham and cheese croissant which I have had better in Aldi was rather poor. Very rare I leave bad reviews or any at all. Unfortunately will not be returning after I use Gail's frequently.
