The best restaurants in West Thornton Croydon London

Been using Danny’s for many years and being a coeliac I need to be sure I eat safely ! Never have I been poorly or been disappointed! Just tonight 7th June 24, I had fish and chips to die for ! Superb meaty cod and crispy chips ! Thank you Danny & Co.,

Aunque la señalización aún está activa, Tomatinos ahora es parte del bar de tapas de al lado. Extremadamente confusas, puertas separadas, pero cuando te acercas a lo que se anuncia como Tomatinos, dice ¡entra por la otra puerta, que es el restaurante de tapas! Una vez dentro te dan 2 menús. Uno es pizza y otro tapas. Servicio lento y confuso, pedimos vino pero no lo tenían, ya que parece que no están reordenando nada en el menú de bebidas de Tomatinos, sino usando el caldo de las tapas. Todo fue un poco impredecible. El horno de leña para pizzas está en el lado ahora vacío del restaurante, así que nos decepcionó. Cuando llegaron las pizzas, sorprendentemente rápido teniendo en cuenta el tiempo que nos llevó tomar nuestro pedido y que llegara el vino, estaban muy buenas. Base fina y crujiente, mi tipo favorito y muy generosamente rematado. Se sentía caótico, pero ahora sabemos qué esperar, volveríamos ya que las pizzas estaban buenas.

El ambiente y el personal son agradables y amables. La shisha se quemó demasiado rápido y eso fue anormal porque era solo para mí. Es un poco molesto cómo los clientes que vinieron después de mí obtuvieron su shisha primero.

5 Stars all around. Its hard to find Caribbean food served without attitude and criminal prices, especially from Jamaicans in south London. I went in apprehensive, expecting the poor customer service you get elsewhere but no. This man is lovely. He cares for a conversation about you, not just about the food you're ordering. His prices are so good considering the amount of food you get. I got a large curried goat, rice and peas and a small jerk chicken and rice. The small wasnt small. It was such a good size. The large fed both me and my son! He is not stingy with the meat, gravy etc at all. Even the festivals tasted fresh. Can we please bare in mind i came close to closing and he had EVRYTHING i asked for in stock and quality was as if he had just made it there and then. Flavours 10/10. Cannot recommend the food and everything about this place enough. My new fav in South London by far.

Undercooked & stale food. Got stomach ache and food poisoning. They use bad quality meat. Horrible experience. Never ordering again.

Quality of food used to always be good but has gradually gone down and prices have increased Had delivery tonight and item was off really disappointed 😞 don't think will order from them again.

Good food and amazing customer service.

We regularly go to eat at Santok Maa. The owners are super friendly and always greet us with a smile. The food is always cooked with love, very enjoyable and flavourful. Service is fast & efficient- definitely recommend :)

The club is empty. Manager doesn’t have professional boundaries and disrespectful. I am a paying customer who is entitled to privacy on personal matters such as my name or any aspect of myself since he is “ educated “ and “civilised “ I suggest he learn about harassment and professional conduct. Will happily not be returning. The club is clean on a positive note and the men were respectful minus the manger the bar was quick with service.

I will go again & again to KuKu Kebab House because the food is very tasty and nice service while serving.

Been my favourite spot to come over the years, first came June 2020, knew about these guys way before the hype, food and service has always been 10/10. Seems they’ve officially closed the store now, drove past a few weeks back. End of an era.
