Nice food, best halwapuri in London, till 2 am

It was my dad’s birthday and they made the perfect birthday atmosphere!!

My wife was looking for a taste of home and this was exactly what she was looking for. The puri was great and the nihari hit just right

We have used them for several years and never disappointed with the quality of food. Absolutely lovely people and food quality is superb. We did takeaway recently for a family get together, thank you Hafiz Fareed Bhai, every ones loves the food. Jazak Allah

Kunna paya with kulcha is worth waiting for. It superseded simple setup.

Pakistani cuisine buffet is good enough, but it wasn't matching up with the price of 18.50 pounds. Service was really good. My beloved brothers were really prompt at Service and making sure everything went well. However, biryani was really good. Apart from that, I couldn't find anything exciting.

Normally we always like their food specially they are very good in biryani and nihari and halwa puri.but since they started their buffet in ramadan they sent old food for delivery. We ordered biryani and nihari and I had guest at my home when I open the boxes of biryani it smells bad and same with yougart chatni (raita) it was bubbly and bad.we bin whole 4 biryani and nihari.

First, we were so concerned about the rating if the ratings were fake or actually the food is good. But no doubtttttt food is AMAAAAAZINGGGGG, Iftar buffet was worth it and then at the end they served the karak doodh patti chai. That was the perfect combo.

It was lovely here. Tbh when I entered I felt a bit sceptical but the service and the food totally flipped my suspicions around. Loved the biryani, haleem and dahi bharay the most

This is the spot if you want authentic Desi cuisine at a good price, staff is friendly, wide variety of dishes all tasting excellent. Chicken Achari is BANG-ON, couple it with some Bombay Aloo + paratha and you have yourself a banger of a meal! Would recommend coming for the £17 Iftar buffet if you’re feeling a feast in the evening this month!

I visited a year ago and I had eaten the food specifically Halwa Poori it was delicious and oil-less, excellent and friendly service and beautiful atmosphere.

Whenever i visit london i must go to this place for food there is super delicious food 100% halaal, strongly recommended place.

We been there at Halwa poori House couple days ago. We ordered selection of dishes kuna paya, lamb karahi, chicken achari and kulchas. The food was very tasty and they have friendly customer service.

Nice decent food. Pricing is okay. Issue is the customers that it usually attracts.. they speak so loud you can’t hear yourself think… so getting takeaway is better no doubt. I’d recommend their breakfast platter and tandoori chicken.

After reading promising reviews, we ventured to 'Halwa Poori,' despite its considerable distance from our home. Arriving around noon on a Thursday, we were greeted by a dull ambiance and not so appealing decor. However, we were solely focused on the food experience. Starting with Halwa puri, it was very good, flaky yet not greasy, halwa was perfect for the puri, not too sweet. Chanay were okay. Moving on to the Biryani, I found it delightful, although my husband found the meat slightly dry. And the portion was a bit too small. We then had Nihari which was no doubt one of the best Restraunt Nehari we had ever tried. Butter naan was good too. I ordered 2 half fried eggs with Paratha which the children devoured, though the Paratha could have been thinner for our liking. We had to remind them again to bring drinks. Achaar and condiments was brought after we had finished Halwa Puri. We also ordered Chai and Naan Kebab roll which never arrived even after finishing the food so we tried to cancel it but I noticed when paying, the Naan roll was just sitting near the till and it was packed for take away (strange). Overall, as I said the ambiance wasn't appealing, the service was too slow but food was very good. Prices are good too. Will we go there again? Errmm.. No, just because it's too far. Had the service been better and the Server was a bit more welcoming, then perhaps Yes!

Had halwa poori for breakfast here and loved it

Ordered med spice lamb curry and 2 Shami kebabs, both delicious but the curry was hot spicy which was a struggle to eat and there wasn't enough sauce for a curry! Otherwise great.and will try again.

We tried this place for the first time. Ordered Nihari, Haleem and Halwa Poori washed down with Mango Lassi. Nothing to fault about the food nor drink. The host was very friendly.

Allhumdolilah, when I moved to London, I was dieing to eat Halwa puri, tried literally 10 diff restaurants in croydon and went back to them. The minute I took my first bite at Halwa puri house, I had tears in my eyes as I found karachi in that one bite topped up by best chai. Best biryani ever. And the list goes on......
