The food was absolutely not edible

Biryani, halwa poori, paratha and chai.. Every thing was perfect!! But Tea was Fantastic ☕☕😁😁

If you want an authentic Pakistani breakfast come to Halfway Poori House. The food tastes like it's been made by your favorite neighborhood aunty - my favorites were the paratha and the doodh patti chai. Make sure to save some of your halwa to have with the chai!

By far the BEST food ive had in UK. The best biryani and halwa puri platter. Reminded me of food back home. Biryani couldve been better if the chicken was on bone, nonetheless it beats every other biryani place. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to others as well.

If you are missing the taste of Pakistani Lahore Halwa Poori , I can honestly say Halwa poori House is the best place in United Kingdom to eat Halwa Poori. We visited them many times in last 3 years , their taste of Halwa Poori is awesome and best this is it available until midnight.

This was perhaps the most interesting experience I have had in London in any restaurant. The atmosphere would seem odd to many in the UK but it's eclectic look, the neon lights and the pictures of monuments from Pakistan and India make it very homely and unassumingly inviting, especially to someone of a South Asian disposition. The Halwa Poori of the Halwa Poori House was fantastic. Soft pooris with a delicious Halwa and properly cooked chickpeas and potato curry. After a long struggle I have found a place where they do Halwa Poori as it's supposed to be. The highlight of my experience was the Nihari. This Karachi style Nihari was similar to the Delhi Nihari. Light on spices but strongly flavored. The lamb shank that is an almost essential accompaniment to a Nihari in London was soft, fatty and literally falling off the bone. The personal touch in the service made it feel like an experience out of a small that could exist anywhere, from the lanes of Karachi to the bustle of Hyderabad in India. The decoration might be dated but the restaurant has a lot to offer when it comes to food and service. Will visit again despite the nearly 2 hour journey it would take me to get here!

Food was awful. Came so late after ordering,went there for sehri breakfast and a drunk lad comes in,none of the staff helped to get him out whilst he was screaming over our table until someone from our table got up. Karak Chai tasted like water,eggs had no seasoning or taste to it. Only thing that gets somewhat rating is the channeh. The rest of it was appalling. Considering the reviews i had high hopes but,clearly not.

Went for sehri. Reached late just 40 minutes before sehri but they accommodated us and served everything very quickly. Although the place is small but very friendly welcoming service and fresh and good quality food. Fresh Karak chai was the show shopper 👌

Pakistani Sehri until 5AM - That's just a dream come the for me. This spot damm nice. @halwapoorihouse are serving up proper Pakistani food until 5AM. I recently tried it and it did not disappoint. Halwa puri - Freshly made puri's and a proper halwa puri. Real good. Chicken Dum Keema - What a dish with that thin crunchy paratha. Loved this Kunna paya - Best on the menu. This was some of the best I had and couldn't get enough with their freshly made kulcha naans. Nihari - A proper Nihari and fully enjoyable Between their parathas, kulcha naan and plain naan all went down really well. They weren't thick and heavy like other places. They do a pretty decent lassi too along with doodh Patti chai. I love spots like this as you can see. Simple small spot inside but love the food and you can have a proper sehri here. Love it

Best lamb nahari and haleem , as good as it gets anywhere in the UK. I have lived in London for close to 7 years, and this little, simple, unpretentious place, offers heartwarming and comfort food , unmatched. The restaurant itself is simple and basic, but the owner is an exceptional person. So much so that he actually advised us to go to a nearby restaurant as the other restaurant had a Iftar buffet! Who does that in today's world, to recommend something which will suit your need better on the day, on expense of loosing their own business.

The nehari is among the best in town, rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. And the chai? Simply amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly and humble, making the experience even more enjoyable. It took me 1/2 hours to get there with excitment of getting Halwa puri for the whole family, The place was not busy still i have to wait 40 minutes for my take away order. As soon I opened the container the smell was enough to close the container again. No taste nothing that I can recommend. No parking available, food quality is 0 out of 100. The seating area is not caomfortable at all. I give you 1 star because there is no option to give you zero star.

It’s a traditional restaurant of Pakistani/Indian cuisine. It may not look elegantly decorated, but the beauty of the Halwa Puri House is in its taste. I’ll strongly recommend to visit this restaurant.

During my holiday in London, I tried this restaurant after finding it on Google Maps. The Halwa Poori was amazing—crispy poori, flavorful chana, and perfectly sweet halwa. The Chicken Biryani was also delicious, with fragrant rice and tender chicken. However, the Qeema Naan was disappointing, lacking flavor. I highly recommend their Halwa Poori and Biryani, but I’d skip the Qeema Naan. Great spot for an authentic Pakistani breakfast!
