Tomatinos in Croydon

Although the signage is still up, Tomatinos is now part of the tapas bar next door. Extremely confusing, separate doors but when you approach what is advertised as Tomatinos it says enter through the other door, which is the tapas restaurant! Once inside you get given 2 menus. One is pizza and one tapas. Service slow and confused, we ordered wine but they didn’t have it as it would seem they are not reordering anything on the Tomatinos drinks menu, but using the stock from the tapas. It was all a bit hit and miss. The wood fired pizza oven is in the now empty side of the restaurant so we were disappointed. When the pizzas arrived, surprisingly quickly considering the length of time it took for our order to be taken and for the wine to arrive, they were very good. Thin and crispy base, my favourite kind and very generously topped. It did feel chaotic, but now we know what to expect, we would return as the pizzas were good.

I took my wife for a Valentine day treat to Tomatinos. The restaurant is located about 15mins by bus from West Croydon station. It has a warm welcome lights outside so one cant miss this place. Peter, the owner and his family are very welcoming and serve's all customer with warm smile and constantly make's sure that you are comfortable. The staffs are very professional and polite. As for the food, it can match any best Spanish restaurants in London. My favorite dish from the menu was the Tapas.

Great food and service and reasonable price too. Highly recommend this place. The garlic bread and pizza was amazing

Authentic Italian pizza; amazing staff -I visit regularly and they know my order!! (Haha Siciliana pizza is THE BEST); they use authentic recipes and they may not be Italian but learnt to cook the Italian way for sure! I cannot be happier that this is local to me, it’s the best restaurant to have opened in the area! Please don’t change your style and keep up the amazing food and fab service ... I feel at home whenever I come and visit, even if just for a takeaway sometimes! Love this place

I’m still sitting in the restaurant and feel compelled to share this fantastic experience with fellow dinners!! The service is excellent - friendly, attentive yet un obtrusive ! The food piping hot full of flavour and totally delicious!! Why am I writing the review while still here - Im so full and satisfied I can’t move just yet ! Absolutely worth a visit!

Io sono venuto circa un mese fa , la pizza mi era piaciuta moltissimo, tanto che ho messo 5 stelle su fb . Ora sono ritornato e la pizza ha un sapore completamente diverso . In un ristorante o pizzeria italiano , ci si aspetta anche il personale italiano o che capisca di cosa si stia parlando . Invece nulla cameriere che non conosce gli ingredienti . Preferisco Sorrento

I’m impress about this pizzeria, the environment it’s friendly but what excel is the pizza. The style of pizza is neapolitan and you have quite of variety of choice of pizzas and toppings. Really reccomend.

This is a lovely place to eat. The pizzas are so nice and authentic. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The service was first class as well. The waiter was very attentive and made us feel very welcome.

We have recently moved to the area and wanted to try out this new pizza place we’d heard great things about. We had calamari and whitebait for a starter which can often (in London) not feel fresh and it was delicious. Our pizzas were outstanding and we loved that you could see the kitchen. The service was brilliant and we’ll definitely be back!

This place offered great wood-fried pizzas with fantastic service. It is great to have a new restaurant come to the area to give us a choice of where to eat. We were very impressed... we will go back. They even offer loyalty card so it'd be rude not to!

Had a lunch here as part of a birthday meal so a large group. Food was quickly delivered and the pizza is very good. Simple menu sticking to doing a few things well which is always a good sign. Good service, reasonable prices Will definitely come again

My dad and I are vegan and love pizza! Dominos, Papa Johns and Pizza Hut offer no comparison to authentic Neapolitan sourdough pizza made in a wood fire oven. We thought we would visit as it’s so close to us and noticed it open recently. The restaurant has a warm and open feel with a large seating area and open cooking station. The food is prepared fresh with good quality ingredients. The waitress had a lovely smile and the chef Mario was singing along to the Italian music in the kitchen. When we were ordering, Mario came to speak to us personally and catered for our vegan requests. He informed us that they are very soon changing to a menu which includes ready-to-order vegan options. The food came very quickly and the pizza was perfect! Mario kindly presented us with a vegan dessert to try; small pieces of sweet dough with chocolate sauce, very similar to Spanish churros! As we were enjoying the food we noticed the stunning hand paintings on the walls personalised to the restaurant. If you are looking for great service and quality food, this is the place to go! Best authentic Neopoliton sourdough pizza in London! We will be back soon without a doubt! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

i have visited tomatinos during the week ,they have buy one pizza get one for free . my and my gf had a margherita , calzone and tiramisu .. everthing fantastic . i will be a regular customer!!

I came here for my friend's birthday. Your getting good value with the bogof offer, but your not getting value pizza. They were more like nanm bread with toppings, that weren't hot. The service was good, but was not impressed with the pizzas. I'm afraid...

I've been there just onece . But I will come back for sure . Real wood fired pizza , and delicious topping!!
