rude staff, barely spoke English

Took forever to prepare and deliver. Not returning again. Fish and Chips didn't have salt and vinegar this time... I'm never returning again!

Fish under chips = soggy fish! Chips were undercooked, literally white and cold. No salt and vinegar on anything. Disappointing as we’ve ordered many times and the food has been good but it seems this place is going downhill now as mentioned on some other reviews.

Always ask for fresh chips! But they're so tasty! And the team are great and consistent

Great but inconsistent with amount of salad provided - my daughter’s burger was missing onion and had a small amount of lettuce - the ingredients she really enjoys & looks forward to. We have placed quite a few orders which is a shame. Overall, when the salad is generous, the food is delicious & perfect.

Portion sizes really good! Only issue was with the delivery driver as he refused to come to my door but thats not on the restaurant.

Didn’t receive my food I ordered and said they delivered it to my house

Fish was very dry, with no flavour, chips were lukewarm warm. Steak and kidney pie was over heated and was dry inside. Very dissatisfied, have order many time from them and food has always been very good,.But noticed this time the menu had expanded with lots more on it , trying to fit to much on creates rushed and dry orders such a shame as they were one of the few fish and chips shops which used to be a good choice to go to ,hope I can find a new one

cold , only thing hot was curry sauce. app said had arrived but came 5 minutes later

The fish was delicious and the chips were so fresh. It was all cooked in what was obviously very clean oil and I enjoyed it immensely! Another great order from Ponds! Yum! 😋

I was surprised and disappointed with this order. The chicken doner meat did not taste fresh AT ALL. I was so disappointed that I actually didn’t eat it and threw it away. The chips also tasted like they weren't freshly cooked. They were dry and tasted old. I've never had a single bad order from this restaurant. I'll order again because they're usually exceptional - I don't know what happened this time, but I'll count it as a one off.

The food was amazing! Very tasty with really generous portion sizes. Would definitely recommend the wraps - be warned they are big! 🙃 will definitely be returning customer. Thank you!

Food Freezing cold. Restaurant manager i spoke to on the phone was rude and was trying to tell me the food is cold because there was Mayo on it. There was no mayo on the chips and they were nearly frozen. Worst experience ever defo avoid.

Ordered on just eat took 1hr 10 mins to arrive, freezing cold food, absolutely terrible.

Ordered a few times from here now. Consistently good grub and still turns up reasonably hot even tho its a few miles away. Cheers

Good piping hot. Chicken wrap delicious. Small cod yummy. The price of chips was extortionate though for a box of chips. Maybe I’m getting old!!

very professional, food was hot, very quick, polite, great halal battered sausage. even late in the early morning they provide a great service.

Even in the early hours of the morning, they gave a nice solid diner kebab, properly done compared to other places at that time of night. I was surprised. For a late night dinner, you can't go wrong. Battered sausage (halal) is the best one in my opinion.

Usually a really good experience from this restaurant. On this ocassion, fish and chips large & medium ordered, batter very salty, and a great amount of chips given, not freshly prepared, lots were old, dry and unedible. Disappointing experience 😕

Cod fish was nice but soggy underneath. Chips seemed old, hard and chewy not soft and crispy.

Juicy, succulent kebab. Tasty, not overly salty and cooked to perfection.

Usually love this place but this time quite disappointed. Lamb Doner was nice but the Shish was dry, well overcooked and there was barely any meat to it. It was like some odd bits of left over meat was used. Do better guys, your Shish is normally succulent. I was really looking forward to my Kebab & instead got overly charred chunks that were not edible.

Order was 20mins late and arrived only just warm not hot.

Very poor take away. Waited 2 hours to not get my food. I called the take away to be told the food would be a further 30 minutes. The food never came and when I called back got no answer then the shop closed. Very rubbish service and this is not the first time this has happened. If you are hungry i would NOT order from this take away under any circumstances

Nice people with scrumptious food

Had to call the restaurant 3 times to get an update. The food when i got it was lukewarm and chips soggy. Not impressed.

The sausage was old, the plaice black in places and the cod was made up of pieces. I don't know what's gone wrong with this restaurant, as I've ordered from them on a regular basis!

Ordered fish and chips and a kebab. There were not enough chips for 1 person. At £35 this is a rip off. No help from the staff despite spending over £100 per month with this restaurant. Won’t be buying from them again.
