Never in my life that I’d think a Costa store would be this bad. got served a cake with a fly in it DEAD. and my drink wrong. staff in there unprofessional and young kids. Need a cleaner in store rotten toilet never come here save your money soon will be shut down

CASH ONLY!!! Food is ok. For the price, you can’t really complain. Yes, I would definitely go back. If you’re hungry and want a quick fix for cheap then this is your place. Try it, you might just enjoy it.

Disgusting… I was given rotten food. 2 portions of banku and okro was spoiled and had to bin it straight away. What was advertised as kelewele is just 5 pieces of simple fried plantain, very small portion. I spent over £50 and could not eat any of the dishes served. Very upset by this nonsense.

Ordered 2 take aways from here and the food is always fresh. Would definitely recommend (think under new owners now - Yumi Dumpling)

The woman who was working there was very kind and polite. Food 10/10, Sevice 10/10. It was nice to sit inside and eat also very nice to take away. Ordered Pounded Yam with Okra and Stew. Spice was perfect, very good for the price and one portion big enough for one person.

The starters at this shop are quite enjoyable, with items like puff puff and meat pies standing out. However, the main dishes are disappointing. As someone familiar with Nigerian cuisine, I found their jollof rice and fried rice to be lacking in flavour and quality. Unfortunately, the customer service is even worse. From the moment I walk in, there’s no acknowledgement unless you’re a familiar face, which speaks volumes about their integrity. Even when placing an order, the staff act as though you’re inconveniencing them, adding to the overall unpleasant experience. The lack of respect I’ve experienced makes me hesitant to return, but as the shop is local and I can’t make puff puff myself, I find myself in a dilemma. Please see the attached image. I can confidently say I have NEVER received the kind of service described in their poster. I had to take a picture because the irony was too much to ignore.

I've been to Choppin Centre twice now. It's like going to your West Afri an Aunty's house for dinner. Firstly they are not stingy with the portions, also you can see theycook with their heart. I had Jollof rice with Jerk Pork. The Jollof was nicely seasoned and tou could pick up each granule of rice. The Jerk Pork was good although I could handle it spicier (my ex wife is Nigerian so my palate is now adapted to proper spiciness). As a famous general once declared. I SHALL RETURN!

Twice my order was late by over an hour. The Just eat app said my food was delivered, but it wasn't. I phoned the restaurant. The man said the driver had just left. How was my food delivered then? It came 10 minutes later. 2nd time same thing happened. The guy said he'd speak to the driver. Had to keep phoning back. One time I was told he delivered it & maybe a house mate had it. Nobody knocked. I phoned back to say don't bother & he said the driver was 5 minutes away. He was but this was well over an hour later. Won't be using again.
