Food ok. Could be so much better. I asked about ingredients and was blatantly lied to.

Ordered a couple trays of jerk chicken for an event and it was a HIT! The chicken was soft and tender, not dry at all! Flavoursome with an epic sauce, spicy enough for those who want a little more heat. Customer Service was a 10! A last minute order that they prepare on time, you can tell they take pride in their work. Will definitely order again! Many people at the event asked for their contact details.

The chicken soup wasn't cooked fresh. Old soup, reheated! Dumplings and yam far too soft and I could taste the burnt bottom of the pot. Very disappointed because the soup is usually really nice. 😕

I always get Oxtail with rice and peas at this shop because, in my opinion, it's best there is hands down, it's delicious. The reason I gave a low score for atmosphere is because it's not really a place I'd take someone to eat in, as it kinda is like taking someone to your grandmother's house, it's not at all an atmosphere to eat in, but the food (particularly the oxtail) is great.

Driver 10/10. Your location is off in regards to where I live. He went out his way.

Got the wrong order and missing items and I paid for large and got regular then as I rang shop to explain she just hanged up on me I rang bck 2 more times and she answer and hang up rude bad customer service!!

I waited by my front door as my phone left a message saying 'delivered'! I had to reorder!

Went in for a simple bun and cheese. Was practically given dry bun. The miniscule amount of cheese put inside was insulting. It didn't even cover the entire surface area of the bun and there were two thin shavings of cheese inside. The bun wasn't even buttered and it was the thick bun rolls they used. No consideration given to the bun/cheese ratio whatsoever. Made in such a slap dash way. I went back immediately to informed the staff that there was hardly any cheese in the bun. To which the lady replied that's the amount of cheese we put in there. I slapped the bun-no cheese on the counter and walked out. Never returning.

I am so disappointed as I visit for soup when my husband is ill. The women in the shop was rude. She had attitude and an aggressive tone when I asked what soup they had. She looked as though I was asking her to do me a big favour and screwed up her face, when I simply asked please no dumpling. I then said not to worry stress. She then said, " I rebuke u and send it back to sender, I hate when people say that." I the said to her I was not trying to offend her as she started raising and speaking to me with aggression again. This is not good customer service, and I can't understand why people bring their issues to work, their does, and dislikes.. we are paying for our food and not expecting it for free so the attitude is un called for.

Amazing food! Always listen to our requests and the food is always 10/10 have been ordering for a while now and hate ordering anywhere else! They don’t do it like here💪🏽

No rice in order in either meal and give mouthfulls of chicken all bones and parts missing wnt be ordering frm here again want my money back to be honest not good

Stole our money several times by giving us wrong portion sizes when we’ve ordered large and sent completely wrong items several times without issuing replacements or refunds. Ordered a large oxtail mean and was sent a small container packed with rice and peas and a measly portion of oxtail and hardly any gravy - whilst the other order again a “large” which was 2 spoons of ackee and saltfish, packed with rice and peas (we ordered with hard food, which is extra money). So essentially, £25 down the drain. Rang their customer number only for it to ring until they cut you off and then the few times I did get through they hung up straight away to avoid refunding us. Was doing my best to support a local business only to be stolen from time and time again. They have zero integrity and legitimately hate their customers. Scamming regular customers and refusing to do right by them is a crime. I can’t imagine running a business in such a careless manner and expecting good things in life to follow.

The driver was unsociable, rude and he left my food in my neighbours garden. If you ever send him to my address ever again, there will be some serious issues!!

My mother relies on this store for a good breakfast as she’s currently immobile and can’t cook. Is always satisfied with their ackee n saltfish.

The service was very poor. The portion of cooked vegetables was very small for the cost. The soup was watery, and there was very limited mutton but quite a bit of bone and fat. The soup was very expensive. In fact, almost twice the cost of the carribean takeaway across the road. I only went because the other shop sold out.

Im still waiting for my order! I've been been told that I received it but that's not the case!

Great food - not one complaint about the cooking, my only concern is that sometimes my mother’s order for the day gets cancelled every once in a while and we have to order from less capable Jamaican restaurants in the area. Best oxtail and ackee around.

Driver drove all the way round mayday hospital in the opposite direction and stopped for like 5 minutes my good came late and cold so lost value in flavour.

Pork was ok. Portion sizes very small. Not value for money. Items ordered not available, no notification to advise. I was sent something else. Menu misleading ( combination meals - what was the combination? ) I was sent curried chicken gravy, charged the same price. The protocol of a call would be appreciated. Presentation awful.. total rip off !! My experience confirm what the mass have been saying. I should’ve listened. Never Again!

I was disappointed with the omissions of two of my three orders!

The food was presented in a plastic carton, but there wasn't enough sauce gravey on the meat so it was dry.

Good portion and tasty food and quick delivery

The food is really nice. Aside from the smaller portions after lockdown. Jerk meat is oven cooked (go around the corner to tasty jerk for jerk chicken and pork) but their curries are amazing. Unfortunately they have a screw-face server (older Jamaican lady) who makes you feel like she's doing you a favour attending to you. She acts like she's giving the food away, not that you're paying for it. Most of the time, when I feel like going there, I decide to go for a Chinese or Indian takeaway nearer to my home. I can't be bothered with her attitude. I'm in Wallington, so it involves some effort to drive there.

Went to this shop earlier this week to place a take away order. Prices gone up to £10-£11.00 a large meal. They have changed from the standard plastic container to a slightly longer yellow polystyrene box. The woman in the back then barked through the servi hatch at my d "don't play with hair as she put her hand to her head". The woman supposed to be the server shouted " WHAT YOU WANT" I just looked 👀 at her❌ then she repeated slightly nicer. She was enough to put me off purchasing the meal as the service was not being request with any love or care. I gave her the order as followes: Jerk chicken x2 and a Jerk Pork meal and 2 x Cheesy beef patties. The portion size was not worth the money and standard of taste has gone down tremendously. Only the rice n pease had any flavour but the rice was hard like bullets. The jerk chicken was over cooked and hard and chewy and the jerk pork was the similar but all fatty pieces with hardly any meat. 😣❌The shop was very clean but empty no customers in the 15 minutes it took her to do the 3 meals. At one point we though she left the country as there was no communication in between she simply just disappeared. Obviously they have either changed owners and workers because up to a few months ago the server was not working there and the food used to be much better in taste even though the portion sizes were never generous from that shop was opened back in the early 2000's. I am done with West Indian shops this was one of the betters shops that I know had taste. Now it's over priced with ill mannered cooks and servers. Try it at your peril you will be left hungry 💯😤 It would have been better to take that £34.50 and cook both meals myself. Have food for a few more servings and no barking 👎🏽😤😤❌

Ok taste, great portion sizes on sides (rice, Mac n cheese coleslaw) however, portion size of the protein (chicken) was very small for a large order. So much rice and maybe a breast piece amount of chicken…not worth the price

As someone who was born and raised in Jamaica I will say the food is edible and seems to be a hit and miss. I ordered soup and a meal. The pork meal was adequate decent flavours and it smelt good, the rice and peas was extremely bland and dry & the soup had no flavours or spices. I suppose if you are catering to European tastebuds then this would be acceptable unfortunately this let me down.

Oxtail fatty, can count how many oxtails in meal no butter beans. 3 ribs for £5. Will not be ordering from these people again. Waste of my money.

Ordered 2 chicken soups, don’t get me wrong they were nice but had no chicken at all only 2 potatoes. Which felt like I was having vegan soup.

The customer service here is ridiculous the light skin grandma that works there is so rude and has ZERO people skills im surprised people buy from this shop I’m amazed she hasn’t scared all the customers away it cost nothing to have manners and respect people that are spending there own money in your shop. I won’t be returning the food is mid at best so you would think they make up for it with a kind atmosphere but no. Honestly they lost a customer in me for sure. Horrible old lady no respect just big mouth and rubbish service.

Giving a 2 because the food was still adequately warm when I got home. I’m glad I ordered a large portion of jerk pork rice and peas, I hate to think how small a small would be judging by the size of the large. The pork had no chew or flavour, the rice and peas weren’t the best, and the sauce, well it wasn’t gravy. Honestly for the price nearly a tenner it was not worth it. I only went here because the other place was out of rice, and the others were rammed. Original tasty jerk is better. Go there instead

Authentic and absolutely delicious food 😋 yum yum... oxtail was not full of browning and excellent meat size and dropping of the bone but not overly soft... curry goat... soft and chewy and the right amount of seasoning and pepper ...balanced appropriately, coleslaw okay but could be better, steam vegetables needs work... stout drink delicious, pineapple drink needs work... but overall presentation was good and clean... well done... Thanks for an appetising meal!

This was not a large portion. I have ordered from this place a lot of times and no the difference in portion between large and regular. What I got is a regular instead of what I actually ordered (large). Very disappointed!

Food never came payed for nothing even extra for service charge but it’s not giving me an option to get that back which I think is unfair. Plus restaurant is rude will not be ordering from here again as day before yesterday got completely the wrong order also. I am far from impressed. Your customer service quality has gone way downhill

The only thing that was right in my order was the curry goat. I ordered hard food and two snapples with my meal instead I received rice n peas with curry goat with two tropical vibes which are no where near as nice or big as the snapples hence why I ordered them. If you didn’t have ingredients and products all you had to do was pick up the phone and call me because now I am very disappointed. You guys are usually on point and I don’t know what is happening lately but I can say the service is slowly but surely going downhill and a change needs to be made so these mistakes don’t keep happening. I’m sure the food is still good but that is not the point it is not what I ordered.
