Bukalicious Nigerian Restaurant & Takeaway in Croydon

The woman who was working there was very kind and polite. Food 10/10, Sevice 10/10. It was nice to sit inside and eat also very nice to take away. Ordered Pounded Yam with Okra and Stew. Spice was perfect, very good for the price and one portion big enough for one person.

Ordered the Jollof rice with beef and plantain from Uber Eats… I would not recommend. The rice was flavour and spice less, similar to uncle bens. I’ve had lots of jollof in my time and is was by far the worst. The beef was hard and lacked flavour, tasted like it was left all night. One compliment I shall give was the Puff Puff, they were soft delicious and tasty.

Their assorted pepper soup is the worst pepper soup I’ve tasted in a long while. It’s just water with a sprinkle of pepper to make it spicy

This is the worst restaurant to order food. All the food I ordered included fried rice, jollof rice, and leaf moimoi smells awful. They were all spoilt food and i had trash all the food. This is food poisoning. How can bukalicious sell all these spoilt food to people. This is pure wickedness. I just wasted £25

The fish pepper soup hit the right places on a cold day. My hubby had the meat pepper soup and really enjoyed it. It was a good portion and very filing. The service was excellent. The lady was very warm and friendly. We also ordered ayamase with rice and dodo; abula and amala; akara and puffpuff. Good and tasty food at affordable prices.

I order food from here on UberEats all the time. It always arrives hot, tasty and on time. Well done.

By far one, THE BEST African Takaway in the area. Their food taste as good as it would at home (unlike many others). They seem to use the best ingredients without compromise, and I love that. Up until they tried the food from Bukalicious, my children wouldn't eat African food from a takeaway, (they like homecooked), but they LOVE this one. We often order Okra soup with assorted meat, Egusi soup (asorted) Jollof (assorted), Ewa Akoyin and Mase (Designer- I think...) and they've never disappointed! I hope to remain on Just Eat and Uber Eats; for those busy days when one cannot collect.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Just ordered off Uber Eats and it’s probably the worst food I’ve ever ordered. Jollof rice is hard & chewy with a weird microwave packet rice taste. The chicken tasted old & expired. I also ordered 2 other stews with various meats and they all tasted as if they had either been left out all day or expired. The Goat stew tasted like they opened a can of chopped tomatoes, put a piece of old rotten meat on top and hoped for the best! Ridiculous! The sauce and the meat seems like they’ve been cooked separately. Wasn’t a stew at all. The flavour just didn’t taste right, couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was but it gave a sour off taste. Everything had to be thrown away. Food tasted like a health hazard! The pounded yam was probably the only thing that was half decent! Waste of money! £30 GONE! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

The cooking is delicious and well prepared. The price is moderate and service is excellent The place is very tidy and welcoming

This is the worse service I have ever had. Very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. I was sent a wrong order, and the woman wasn’t even apologetic. The Ayamase stew was horrible! Rice half done .

I used to be a fan of this restaurant until I ordered moin-moin and 3 frozen packs were delivered to me. I’m pregnant and was genuinely craving this food , I cried. I’m never ordering anything from this joke of a restaurant again!!!

This is the worst Nigerian food I have ever tasted and it’s just a disgrace. The jollof rice was like rice just mixed with red oil and and the goat meat stew was so bland it’s unbelievable. I don’t think I have ever taking time to leave a review, but this was so bad I just had to. I hope they find another chef real quick before more people start to complain.

This is the worst Jolof rice, from All Nigerian Restaurants I ever tried, very big disappointment ! The rice was was overcooked, and the portion was small, is not even about the portion... is the food quality, the chicken is not fresh at all, is like out of date! We just just order from huber Eat which we paid 3.29 an extortion! Never Again, this is an insult for the good Nigerian food I ever tried 🙏🏽

This food is always tasty and freshly made. The Jollof rice is delicious, I always get the red stew with chicken and its always consistenly tasty not too spicy. I recommend everything on the menu. Try the beef Suya , the meat pies are great quality and also the Designer Stew.

Better than any old kent road n.restaurant. The meat is sooo soft and lovely. I've been coming here for over a year. This is gonna be my next treat

How did my GF and I not know of this jewel? Clean and hygienic premises, helpful proprietor, delicious pepper soup, excellent joloff rice, reasonable prices.

It was fair. But not really the Nigerian taste. I mean asun is not really goat meat, its lamb but spiced with asun's ingredients...

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT. THEY WILL GET YOUR WRONG AND JUST-EAT WILL REFUSE TO HELP AND WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND. THE FOOD IS NOT VERY GOOD EITHER.
